We ended up taking a spot in the corner, with chairs that are made for relaxing, but definitely not for talking :( (they lean way to far back, super awkward). They did a good job making my London Fog Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam). There was not a lot of fresh bakery items to choose from. I wanted something more like a scone, but all they had was a cinnamon roll. They heated it up, and it pretty good. We would come back. ps - there is a large world map towards the rear of the shop. It's always generated fun conversations on the way out. Also, it still shows the "Gulf of Mexico" :)

Inside is large, with plenty of tables and seating for different size groups. There are design and decoration elements that are religious in nature, but I don't find them overpowering. The place was mostly empty when I arrived. There were a few cars using the drive thru. Got a nice greeting from the cashier. Placed my order for a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), and got it in a mug. I would have ordered a scone, but all they had in the case were muffins. Since I couldn't get a scone, I found the most decadent muffin, which was a Caramel Apple Pecan. It took a few minutes to make the London Fog (which is a good sign that they are giving it a good steep). They also left the bag in the mug, which I prefer. The beverage was excellent, the right temperature, good flavor, and the texture was right. The muffin was also very good. It was a very good experience and would make me come back again. It is one of the vintage-looking buildings, painted blue with green striped awnings. It has great curb appeal and feels very welcoming. There are outside café tables and plenty of seating inside for different size groups. Not only are they a coffee house, but they serve a wide-ranging menu of foods, and there are grocery items you can purchase, including dairy, eggs, and meats. The blueberry scones looked amazing, so I got one of those as well. They make all their bakery on-site. Everything was excellent, with lots of microbubbles in the latte. Plenty of blueberries in the scone, and it had the right texture (dry and a little crumbly). I forgot to bring my book along, but they have a very eclectic selection, so I was able to peruse some titles I had not seen before. Overall, another great experience. She helped me regarding my reusable coffee mug a few days ago. I noticed that they were still using a disposable cup to make my coffee, which they then throw away. So I asked about it, and she told me that they needed it for the pour lines that are on the cup. I expressed regret about this because my main purpose of purchasing reusable cups (this was a venti-sized Starbucks cup) is to save on plastics that will end up in landfills. She was very kind and attentive re: my concern, and made a suggestion that worked really well! She gave me a clean plastic disposable Starbucks cup, which had pour lines on it, and told me that I could take it home and draw matching pour lines on my reusable cup in permanent marker for future use. I know that other Starbucks stores have reusable cups with pour lines that they use but this store does not have those yet. Until then, this is a great solution that makes me very happy! I do not care that I now have black lines on my cup. It's still a very pretty, decorative cup, and it serves the purpose that I purchased it for, thanks to this nice young lady. She is always very cheerful and kind and patient and I really do appreciate her attitude and her quick thinking and friendly service. I will pass this on to Starbucks as well, but I wanted to get this out there on Yelp for any customers who run into the same issue at any of the locations. Of course, they make great coffee beverages! Btw... all of the Starbucks employees at both Mukwonago locations are phenomenal, friendly, and upbeat. The smoked meats were on point, juicy, flavorful, and you can tell they take their time with it. The pulled pork and sausage had that perfect smoky bite, and even the brisket in the bowl hit. The sandwiches were stacked and messy in a good way, and the sides actually showed up too, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread all solid. If you want legit BBQ with big portions and real flavor, this spot is worth it. Service was attentive, the ambiance was cool too. I definitely will return when I'm in town.
