We love this coffee shop. Food for not only adults but the littles as well so added bonus. We love inside for chill time and the outside in the summer has a perfect covered porch and games to play. Service is always great and every one has a smile and is so friendly!

I come here all the time! Delicious lunch options, quick and friendly service from the baristas, and a really chill, clean ambience inside. I love the pastries too! There are always fun seasonal coffee flavors you won't find at other shops!

Really great mom and pop coffee shop with great coffee beverage options, tasty cinnamon rolls, and bagel sandwiches. Reasonable prices and service with a smile. Great place to sit and chill with America's favorite beverage.

Coffee snob? This is the place for you. Excellent coffee and espresso, roasted in nearby Lake Geneva. The oat milk iced lattes are fabulous. Black coffee solid. Quality of coffee really stands up to that of big city roasters like Anodyne and Colectivo in Milwaukee. Friendly staff and inviting small town atmosphere. Hidden gem. Check this place out.

Got a coffee flight to share with my sisters, fun experience, yummy lattes. They use the typical Monin syrups for flavoring but the coffee is good, not burnt tasting or acidic. The sandwiches are really good too! Got a pesto grilled cheese.

Delicious coffee and food, the staff is wonderful and I love the ambiance! The cheesecake muffins are really freaking good, too!

Cute but small coffee shop. The coffee and food are always excellent. I enjoy the morning buns the most.

Kat's Coffee House - London Fog Tea Latte

    Kat's Coffee House

We were on our way to…read moreanother place when we discovered it was closed, so a quick look at the map showed Kat's nearby. We decided to give it a try and were glad we did. Food They offer a wide selection of coffee drinks, and a specials board had several interesting December offerings. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte with a little lavender, a little vanilla, and extra frothy foam. My friend got a black coffee. The London Fog was very good. Not too sweet, and the texture and foam were spot on. I would have liked it in a ceramic mug, but they do not offer those. There was a small selection of bakery items. We each picked something up. The owner recommended the Banana Coffee Cake, so I went with that, while my friend chose the Chocolate Chip Muffin. The coffee cake was excellent. Moist, great texture, and the topping had a nice crunch with nuts. It would have been even better warmed just a bit. Definitely something I would order again. Service We received a super friendly greeting as soon as we walked in. There were a few other people there, but it took no time at all to get to the counter and place our order. We took our bakery items to a table in the back, and my London Fog was brought out after it had been properly steeped and finished. Atmosphere I wasn't sure what to expect. The photos online don't really capture how many relaxing seating areas there are. When you enter, you are almost immediately at the counter, with a few small tables near the front and lots of natural light coming through tall windows. A hallway leads to the back, which opens into a larger space with several seating options for small groups. It has a nice, chill vibe. Other guests were having quiet conversations, which added to the relaxed feel. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with what this place has to offer. Great coffee, a comfortable atmosphere, and excellent service. I would love to see a few more standard bakery items, like a morning bun or scone, and ceramic mugs for hot beverages would be a nice touch. I would definitely make a point to stop in again.

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Big unexpected bonus? They have a drive through. It seems like an odd thing to glorify for a coffee shop that focuses on quality--but this was really a big plus for me at the time. I had a colicky baby in the car and the idea of getting him out of a car seat and back into it again made me not want to leave the house all that often. Being able to drive up to grab some delicious (non-Starbucks) coffee that reminded me of the good old days in Austin was such a huge mood booster. The moon milk sells itself. It's super sweet, so if you don't want it to be too sweet, I usually ask for 1/8 moon (1/4 is on the menu, and it's still too much for me). I do wish it was in a more convenient location. It definitely feels suburban and like it's just in a random strip, but I'm also not all that familiar with in Kenosha. Hooray for Summermoon in WI. Now I have a reason to make a pit stop on my way to Chicago.

Looking it up online I discovered it contains oat milk, which a good percentage of celiacs, including me, cross react to. The moon milk is a "proprietary blend" they say has no allergens, but oats, rye, and barley are not considered allergens, but are not tolerated by celiacs. No way to know what their secret ingredients are. My fault for not asking The in store menu did not indicate this had oat milk. I assumed it was just milk.
