Definitely better than Antipeli's (Albany Park) and perhaps a little bigger than Al Bawadi's. FYI, kanafa is made of shredded phyllo dough, cheese, pistachios, and honey - it's the ultimate Palestinian dessert and it's a must try. The owner mentioned having this as a kid, sandwiched in pita bread for convenience, so we did just that and believe it or not - it makes a great sweet, sandwich!! We'll be back Grill House!!

We returned for breakfast yesterday, 12/27/2019, and enjoyed everything again. The staff is friendly and all the food is freshly prepared. The quality is well worth any short wait. I had the eggs benedict with salmon and it was great. In the past, I have had the Moroccan meat with breakfast and enjoyed the flavors. The corned beef (hash & sandwich) is some of the best I have had. The meals and sandwiches later in the day are just as well prepared. read more

I want to give this cafe a better review, but it has gone downhill the last year. The cleanliness has become concerning. The bathrooms are dirty and never kept up. The overall feel of the cafe is dirty. The chocolate chip pancakes are basically chocolate syrup, not what I expected. I hope things can turn around. read more

The decor is nothing fancy but it's not a dive with over priced omelets like my breakfast experience, look at my last review. The country fried steak was noticeably bigger than most places around town except for NA cafe which is a real country steak and I just expected a frozen restaurant supply quality. It was golden brown with that commercial sausage gravy which is the norm for 99% of breakfast restaurants around town so I'm not going to knock them on that because I'm a country fried steak guy all my life. The sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. The extra crispy hash browns were cooked perfectly and the sourdough toast was better than the average restaurant where you couldn't tell if it was white or sourdough with that chew. Overall it's a solid breakfast spot with all my visits and at $13 it's $9 cheaper than my last breakfast experience at a dive restaurant and hits the spot.
