It felt like the menu was created just for me, with a selection of specialty flavored pancakes and a whole bunch of specialty lattes. I couldn't resist ordering the campfire pancakes (topped with a whole toasted marshmallow, of course!) and an iced mocha latte. The pancakes were delicious, but they were very thick, and with the chocolate drizzle, marshmallow, and graham cracker crumbles on top, it was too filling and I couldn't finish all of it. I loved my iced mocha, especially because of the perfect balance of flavors. The coffee didn't overpower the chocolate, but it didn't just taste like chocolate milk. The service at Maple Table was great--our waitress was so friendly, and even though it was pretty busy when we went, we didn't have to wait long for our food. My reason for taking off a star is because I really wanted to try the signature house donuts, but when we arrived at around 10am, our waitress told us that they were already sold out of all the donuts. That was really not the end of the world though, and my breakfast was still delicious regardless!

My mom ordered the key lime donuts & a coffee and I had a skillet with OJ. She said donuts were good but only the frosting was flavored...not the actual donut. Skillet was good but not a big portion. OJ wasn't fresh but from frozen concentrate and was thick. Overall place was nice and good. I would go back if I was in the area again.

Cozy Atmosphere, Great Service, But Food Could Improve…read more This small, charming spot has a lot of potential, but the experience was a bit mixed. The service is friendly, with two servers managing both the indoor and outdoor tables. They were attentive and quick to address any issues. When my husband's meal came out overcooked with burnt potatoes, they offered a replacement dish and even gave us complimentary beignets, which was a nice gesture. However, the food quality didn't quite match the price point. My chorizo omelet was flavorful but a bit overcooked, and while I appreciated the rosemary potatoes, the cheesy potatoes were just weird--definitely not what I expected. The coffee was a little weak for my taste but did have a pleasant flavor. As for the kids, this isn't the most family-friendly place. There's no dedicated kids menu, and while I loved the blue-beary pancakes, they didn't appeal to my little ones. We ended up ordering extra plain pancakes just to keep them happy. This spot is cute and could be a great brunch place to eat if you get the right dishes prepared correctly. I'd recommend it, but with some caution, especially if you're dining with kids or are particular about your food being cooked just right.

The restaurant is quite spacious and located on the second level of the building. There are options to sit inside, outside but covered, or outside. The marina and Lake Michigan add the experience with great views from the deck area. Our server was very nice. She was super attentive, and we really appreciated her checking back in for refills, napkins, etc. The food was actually the highlight of my experience. I got the garlic shrimp skewers which came with a Hawaiian roll, Cole slaw and a side (I chose a baked potato). My partner got the prime rib dip with hush puppies. Didn't have a chance to take a pic of the cheese curds before they were devoured! Only downside is the place is VERY noisy. Everytime someone who move a chair, the scraping sound was otherworldly. They are metal chairs on a concrete/gravel flooring. Not ideal. And waitstaff was constantly dropping things and running into each other or the chairs/tables. That was a bit chaotic. However, the food was great and so were the views. They also have live music (they had wrapped up before we got there today). I'd definitely come back (maybe sit inside near an area where you can look out on the lake).

Stopped by Red Onion Café in Racine for lunch and had a really nice experience overall!…read more We ordered at the counter and the line moved super quickly, which is always appreciated during the lunch rush. I went with the citrus balsamic salad with chicken, which also came with a roll, and my friend ordered the turkey & bacon club sandwich combo that included butternut squash soup and a drink. Our food came out in about 10 minutes, which was great timing. The salad was wonderful...fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying for lunch. There were just a couple small things that could have been better. The roll that came with my salad was pretty dry and cold, so that part didn't quite match how good the salad was. My friend also got a pickle with the sandwich (see photo)... and let's just say it was limp as hell and could definitely use an upgrade. Overall though, it was a good experience with quick service and tasty food. With just a couple small tweaks, it would be even better. I'd definitely stop back again!

My husband got home and they sent a burger with bbq sauce instead of the cubano. He went all the way back to get my sandwich and I can't even eat it. The ham is supposed to be deli ham, they put a huge chunk of a honey ham (like the ones you buy for Easter) with the brown sugar glaze. Are Cubans eating this kind of ham? No. Then there a sliced pork loin instead of slow roasted shredded pork with lots of garlic and oregano and citrus like a Cuban lechon would have. It's not even edible. I wanted so badly to like this. I just had back surgery and can't go anywhere. I was hoping they could get a sandwich right. It was horrible. I immediately gagged.
