Great atmosphere and service. Be prepared to wait at least 20-25 minutes for your food. Omelettes are delicious and fluffy. The coffee was also crafted well.

Great spot for breakfast/lunch! Food was fresh and portions were good. Would love to come back to try some of their coffee.

    Curry Chicken Noodle Soup

The curry chicken noodle soup was a weekly special, but if I could have bought it by the gallon I would have. I was so in love I tried to remake it, handmade noodles and all, as soon as I got home from work travel. Most impressive though, my whole meal, soup, chips, sandwich, drink, was only $10!!! Super impressed! Also a huge place and good space to sit and do work.

Spending the weekend in Racine at a Vrbo to be Covid-safe and doing carryout supporting local businesses. My husband found Red Onion and I'm so glad he did. They made my breakfast exactly to my request..Greek omelette using egg whites, no garlic and light on the feta with a slice of rye on the side. My omelette was so satisfying, but that rye bread was the best I ever had! My husband had the Rueben omelette which was huge served with a yummy sauerkraut topping. The corned beef was not the canned chip kind, but huge cubes of the real deal. Then my husband came back with a cinnamon roll. I guess they make yummy baked goods, too. Well this cinnamon roll was everything! We warmed it up to ooey gooey sweet perfection. Great breakfast spot! Recommend highly!

First time dining at the Red Onion Cafe in Racine Wisconsin and it was fabulous! I had the lox and bagel. Beautiful 5 start presentation. Love the salmon, cream cheese, bagel topped with capers, fresh dill, cucumber and onion. Nice to also have fresh lemon to squeeze over top. So fresh and delicious. And a hearty portion as well.

    Bagel with loxs

I always like the food here. Breakfast is the best here. But soups are good. Servings are pretty good size. Just look at this bagel with loxs. Wished they had a bar

Empty plate because you can't NOT eat every bite.

It felt like the menu was created just for me, with a selection of specialty flavored pancakes and a whole bunch of specialty lattes. I couldn't resist ordering the campfire pancakes (topped with a whole toasted marshmallow, of course!) and an iced mocha latte. The pancakes were delicious, but they were very thick, and with the chocolate drizzle, marshmallow, and graham cracker crumbles on top, it was too filling and I couldn't finish all of it. I loved my iced mocha, especially because of the perfect balance of flavors. The coffee didn't overpower the chocolate, but it didn't just taste like chocolate milk. The service at Maple Table was great--our waitress was so friendly, and even though it was pretty busy when we went, we didn't have to wait long for our food. My reason for taking off a star is because I really wanted to try the signature house donuts, but when we arrived at around 10am, our waitress told us that they were already sold out of all the donuts. That was really not the end of the world though, and my breakfast was still delicious regardless!

My mom ordered the key lime donuts & a coffee and I had a skillet with OJ. She said donuts were good but only the frosting was flavored...not the actual donut. Skillet was good but not a big portion. OJ wasn't fresh but from frozen concentrate and was thick. Overall place was nice and good. I would go back if I was in the area again.

Cozy Atmosphere, Great Service, But Food Could Improve…read more This small, charming spot has a lot of potential, but the experience was a bit mixed. The service is friendly, with two servers managing both the indoor and outdoor tables. They were attentive and quick to address any issues. When my husband's meal came out overcooked with burnt potatoes, they offered a replacement dish and even gave us complimentary beignets, which was a nice gesture. However, the food quality didn't quite match the price point. My chorizo omelet was flavorful but a bit overcooked, and while I appreciated the rosemary potatoes, the cheesy potatoes were just weird--definitely not what I expected. The coffee was a little weak for my taste but did have a pleasant flavor. As for the kids, this isn't the most family-friendly place. There's no dedicated kids menu, and while I loved the blue-beary pancakes, they didn't appeal to my little ones. We ended up ordering extra plain pancakes just to keep them happy. This spot is cute and could be a great brunch place to eat if you get the right dishes prepared correctly. I'd recommend it, but with some caution, especially if you're dining with kids or are particular about your food being cooked just right.

The restaurant is quite spacious and located on the second level of the building. There are options to sit inside, outside but covered, or outside. The marina and Lake Michigan add the experience with great views from the deck area. Our server was very nice. She was super attentive, and we really appreciated her checking back in for refills, napkins, etc. The food was actually the highlight of my experience. I got the garlic shrimp skewers which came with a Hawaiian roll, Cole slaw and a side (I chose a baked potato). My partner got the prime rib dip with hush puppies. Didn't have a chance to take a pic of the cheese curds before they were devoured! Only downside is the place is VERY noisy. Everytime someone who move a chair, the scraping sound was otherworldly. They are metal chairs on a concrete/gravel flooring. Not ideal. And waitstaff was constantly dropping things and running into each other or the chairs/tables. That was a bit chaotic. However, the food was great and so were the views. They also have live music (they had wrapped up before we got there today). I'd definitely come back (maybe sit inside near an area where you can look out on the lake).

My husband got home and they sent a burger with bbq sauce instead of the cubano. He went all the way back to get my sandwich and I can't even eat it. No. Then there a sliced pork loin instead of slow roasted shredded pork with lots of garlic and oregano and citrus like a Cuban lechon would have. It's not even edible.
