Eggs and Bacon
Maddy K.

Went for breakfast on a (snowy) Sunday morning, got seated right away. Staff were kind and attentive, serving us coffee right away. We are big fans of diner milkshakes so that was an added bonus to see available on the menu (and delicious)! They offer a versatile breakfast menu- I tried pancakes, eggs and bacon which was simple and tasty. Also affordable in my opinion. Overall I would recommend stopping by if you are looking for a classic diner vibe with great menu variety!

Pancakes, screamers and well done bacon

Place is packed! But they have lots of room. Wife got pancakes and eggs, extra crispy bacon. Two over easy and sausage with hash browns and sour dough toast!! Coffee on the constant refill. Nice folks. Friendly folks. You know you have arrived, the parking lot is full!

Food was delicious. Awesome service, including the guy that does refills. I was there during lunch hour, on a Sunday. Highly recommend.

I got the gyro. It was so amazing. The wife got am open faced sandwhich. She said it was almost as good as her moms but excellent. The service was amazing even considered how busy they were. The ambience was warm and inviting. It was slightly over crowded. Kempt getting bumped into from other people and sometimes the help. I would highly recomend this place.

Cute little diner! The coffee was ALWAYS full. Had some cottage cheese and peaches and it was taste. Chickiachillles were good too. Great value for your money! Looks like a lot of locals. Server was efficient and friendlier as the time went one.

Eggs, hash browns, gyro meat with raisin toast. Ginormous portions.

Staying at a hotel near the airport and had to find an early AM breakfast spot before hitting the road out of town. Oak Creek Diner opened super early, was close by, so it fit the bill. We walked in before 7am and the place was already packed. Service was friendly and fast, the meals were huge, and were tasty and well prepared. My daughter has the 2+2+2 and I had a full breakfast with gyro meat. Her scrambled eggs were a touch soft but otherwise no complaints. This is a great little breakfast spot worth visiting again.

CFS, hash browns, eggs, and toasy

in town killing myself at work and I see the lot is mostly full up most every morning which I take as a good sign: the locals can eat anywhere they want and a lot of them eat here. so I wander in past the desert tower and find a spot at the counter as is my wont. I get a menu and a cup of coffee and slightly abandoned while I look things over - I wasn't looking for conversation, just sustenance before collapse. got my order put in, got cleaned up, got a glass of water and breakfast followed shortly: hash browns, toast, two eggs up, plus country fried steak, thank you. CFS took up nearly half my plate clad in a lightly seasoned layer of country. a large pile of hashed brown taters sat opposite with a couple fair sized eggs nestled in the middle, bright yellow yolks peeking out from under. couple blasts of hot sauce just on the eggs (because the gravy didn't need any help) and then mix in some of the taters to sop the yolks between bites of breaded meat. a sip of coffee here and there and finish with dry texas toasts... it's the simple things that make life tolerable - good food goes a long way, a few kind words even though I'm too tired to respond in kind takes you from barely four to an enthusiastic five...

Breakfast at Oak Creek

The food was very good I had two eggs and hashbrowns with Canadian bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the waitress was awesome the place was crowded and there was a 30-minute wait which is good because that tells me folks like this establishment. We were a party of 4 and everyone loved their meals. Good job Oak Creek we will be back. The ambiance was not very loud but quaint.

This is an excellent diner that our friends recommended after we picked them up from the Milwaukee airport. The parking lot was full, which was a good sign, and we had to wait about 10 minutes on this Sunday morning for a table. Their menu is large with a lot of options. They brought coffee continually and accommodated a special request despite being quite busy. Our party of four greatly enjoyed our breakfast along with the attentive service by Amber. We will remember this place next time we're in the area.

Wow! What a great lunch experience! Being in town for a few weeks on work, I was looking for a place that wasn't a chain or fast food. I was also looking for a place that was reasonable priced and quick for lunch. This was just the place! The atmosphere was bustling and welcoming if even a little to busy for a "quick lunch ". However, I was promptly greeted, seated immediately, received my order, and paid all within 20 minutes. The food was great! Tasty French dip sandwich with a side of delicious chicken noodle soup! And all for $9! Great place that I fully intend to frequent for the next few weeks!

Good breakfast food, and resembles an old school diner. Prices are decent and food came out quickly.

Ask the Community - Oak Creek Diner

Any veggie options?

Veggie sure, but not vegan. This is a blue collar place.

Does the Oak Creek Diner have dairy free options?

I didn't see any substitution products on their menu, like soy milk or cheese. However they have a lot of choices that do not contain dairy. I had an omelet without cheese and it was really very good. I just added salsa instead. Considering the… Read more

They carry Rishi teas, which always have great flavor. To start, we ordered the Korean cauliflower. It came out in a reasonable amount of time and had nice flavor, was served hot, and was a good portion. There were some nicely sized pieces on top, but underneath was a pile of smaller pieces that turned into a bit of a gooey mess. For our entrees, I had the Hot Bacon Salad, and she ordered the fish tacos. Both were good, served hot, and had solid flavor. Portions were generous, and we ended up taking some home. Service: Service throughout the meal was very good. They did a great job getting us settled with waters and menus. Our server was super enthusiastic and friendly, and the pacing was spot on. Nice job, Brandon. Atmosphere: It's a well-designed space. It was very busy, though there were still plenty of booths and seating options. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a small group that was video chatting and had a screaming baby on the other end. I like babies... just not while I'm eating. Overall: Mostly a good experience. These were next level and our little one's eyes got so big and bright when we walked in. Then things went downhill - we got there right at 11am when they opened and we were seated at a table in the back by a hallway that had a draft. I asked if we could sit in the big room with more for my daughter to look at while we dined in. The waitress in that space rudely said "no" stating the room was still being cleaned and tables set up - major bummer. Our actual waitress was very sweet and attentive. We ordered a Mediterranean rice bowl (without meat so it was vegetarian-friendly), a Philly with onion strings and a slice of their seasonal peppermint cheesecake. The food was mediocre. The bowl was lacking and a small portion. If someone doesn't add a protein it would be nice if you at least added some more rice or cut the price down. Just my two cents. And there was a piece of metal in the onion rings which the waitress thought was from the scrubber they used to clean the equipment in back. They comped the Philly meal with the onion rings which I felt was the least they could do. I get it - things happen - and we didn't make a big deal about it but that's a deal breaker for us. Especially if our toddler is eating out with us because then I'm on edge waiting for the metal to make a repeat appearance and that's not enjoyable for anyone.
