Visited for my hubby's birthday. It was fairly busy. We came in at noon on a Saturday. We were seated pretty promptly after a tiny wait and our waitress came and was very kind and helpful. We placed an order for the cactus onion app first and a strawberry margarita and got ordered. Followed by our meals, which were the portobello chicken meal with corn and fries and a mushroom Jack chicken sandwich with fries and a pickle spear. Everything was good and served hot and promptly. This location has a low average rating, but we have enjoyed our visits when we do come. Hopefully if you come for a visit, you'll enjoy. There is plenty of parking and the restaurant was clean. The fresh bread and sweet butter is yummy and the bagged peanuts are a nice touch. They seat bigger parties and the restaurant is decorated fun with good music. read more

Believe it or not, I'd never been to a Texas Roadhouse before yesterday. Generally a kind of mediocre experience but it wasn't bad. The rolls were light and fluffy and the cinnamon butter was good. Not pictured but I all really liked their coffee. I had the country fried steak with sweet potato and seasoned rice. The steak was tender and flavorful but had way too much gravy. The sweet potato was the best item of the day but the rice was kinda meh and pretty salty. My husband had the BBQ burger which he said didn't have enough BBQ flavor. Luckily my friends know the secrets- ask for peanuts and more buns! It was 3:45 on a Saturday afternoon and the parking lot was packed....between meals. It's always like that, according to the waitstaff. So, plan to wait for a table. At 5 when we left there were many parties waiting to be seated. Our waitress at one point sat down with guests (I'm assuming her friends) at another table, completely forgot to give us silverware, and even after asking us if we'd like more rolls, didn't end up bringing them out at all. What a great experience on a Friday night here at Texas Roadhouse!! My wife and I stopped here on a whim for dinner and had great service from Abby. She had the most outstanding personality I've seen in a while. It was so refreshing. The New York steak was prepared exactly the way I requested it. The salad was nice and crisp and the chili was fresh and hot with nice size pieces of meat and melted cheese on top. My wife's full rack of ribs was tender and flavorful. The fried pickles we ordered for appetizers was a nice way to start this feast off. Overall, this was a great experience for both my wife and I. To the management, Abby is a Rockstar!! read more

Tonight we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Oak Creek, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've had in a long time. After being seated, we asked for water, and it took 20 minutes for that to arrive. Bread service was also slow, and basic requests felt like a struggle. When we ordered drinks and appetizers, the server later returned to say she had spilled water on her notepad and couldn't read our drink order. Drinks arrived much later than they should have, and even then, a water was still missing. When delivering drinks, the server appeared disoriented, banging glasses on the table and displaying poor depth perception. Honestly, it seemed like she might have been under the influence of something. We placed our dinner orders, but she barely looked at us while taking them. We asked for more bread, and she claimed it would take 10 minutes even though we could clearly see baskets ready to go. Twenty minutes later, she came back and asked for our dinner orders again, forgetting that she had already took them and clearly never having entered them the first time. She once more cited a spilled notepad as the issue. We eventually flagged down another staff member just to get the water we still hadn't received. When the food finally arrived, two of the eight meals were missing. One came five minutes after everyone else started eating. The other, ribs, never came at all. By the time they arrived, we told them to cancel it, as the person had already shared sides off others' plates. We asked to speak with a manager, who was polite but minimally helpful. We expressed concern that the server may have been impaired and was clearly not in a condition to handle a table. The manager comped the two appetizers and the missing ribs and gave us two coupons for a free blooming onion, a minimal gesture for such a chaotic experience. In short: service was disorganized, confusing, and unacceptable. This was a 1 out of 10 type of experience, and we're very disappointed that the restaurant didn't do more to make it right. I think the wait to get a table and not a booth is excruciatingly long, you let customers stay way too long to eat, your waiters are freindly I wish refills were done quicker, and the burger smokehouse burger I had last night was overly seasoned by a mile made me grimace to swallow... again the wait for the table was horrible it was like we put our name in and then you forgot about us... Texas Roadhouse: Texas Roadhouse was founded in 1993, with its first location in Clarksville, Indiana of all places. Although it's been around for over three decades, this was my first time visiting a location. My family and I dined at the Oak Creek location on 5/23/25 around 6:00pm. The place was packed, and I initially had a hard time finding parking. Before getting into the food, I do have to say that I'm disappointed that they do not take reservations. That's a peeve of mine when it comes to restaurants. I see no reason not to do it, especially if the restaurant does a non-refundable deposit that goes towards the bill as long as you show up. Anyway, the interior was tastefully decorated, and both the restaurant and bathroom were clean. It did get a little loud making it difficult to converse, but that's expected for this type of joint. Our server Ethan did an excellent job of keeping everyone's order straight and was polite and attentive. Each table comes with a bag of peanuts and bucket to deposit the shells in. I thought that was a nice touch. First up was my Caesar side salad. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. Each salad also comes with a plentiful amount of cheese and crunchy croutons. For my entree I went with their 6oz Dallas Filet, smothered in jack cheese and sautéed mushrooms. My steak was done medium just as I requested and was satisfyingly tender. I've had cuts from more high-end steakhouses that had more of a "melt in my mouth" feel, but for a chain this was alright. Being a Cheesehead I loved that there was an option to add melty jack cheese and found it paired nicely with the meat and sautéed mushrooms. Some of our staples at roadhouse are the chicken critters, steak medallions and ribs. Love their side salads as they have all the best fixings! Here's a few pro tips from a previous server. If you are stuck between the medallions and the filet mignon, get the medallions! You technically get an extra side because you can substitute the rice if you don't want it. If you want a small portion of ribs, get the rib appetizer because you also get a side and can substitute the fries for any other side. It's the only appetizer that has a side and it's a better value than adding a sidekick. If you love the loaded potato, get the mashed instead of the baked potato, its also is a larger portion. Never had any issues with food quality. Sometimes when we order to go we are missing dressings and one time it did take 45 min longer to wait for bread on my to go order, but they made it right. I was craving prime rib for a while so I jumped on Yelp to see who had one ready for lunch on a Saturday but after none of the prime rib places after an hour of searching and phone calls had it for lunch until Texas Roadhouse said it's available now. Texas Roadhouse is a chain so I wasn't expecting much but I do like the food so I stopped over. O man was the lot packed just after 12/noon on a Saturday and it was packed in the dining room with servers like worker ants working the room in controlled chaos. My service was great for how busy it was . I started with the legend margarita that looked good and actually had good flavor that I completely enjoyed. I ordered the 16 ounce prime rib rare that comes with two sides and sweet buns with cinnamon/honey butter. My two sides are the only two sides I have ever ordered in my roughly 20 visits across all the locations I have visited which is the chili and mashed potatoes. The mash potatoes are on the week side because the gravy is bland with no bold flavor and the potatoes were loose skin on but come on mashed potatoes and gravy are the perfect side. The chili topped with cheese and Red onion is stew like, thick with ground beef, beans, veggies and bits of steak which is always satisfying. The sweet buns and sweet butter is not really my thing but the buns are soft and fresh. The 16 oz prime rib looked amazing with the au jus and that awesome pink color with the fat tip left on, I hate extreme trimmed steaks because fat is flavor. The prime rib was tender and and completely satisfied my crave but I thought then rub flavor profile was weak compared to some of the better prime rib that I have had. Overall is it the best prime rib dinner that I have had, no. Is it the worst prime rib dinner that I have had, no but it's constant comfort food with reasonable a price I saw for a 16 ounce prime rib dinner. Full slab of fall off the bone ribs- Seemed like under a warming rack for a long time because dry and not fall off the bone Texas chili- looks like and taste fat meat scraps that they grind up Mashed potatoes with brown gravy- had lumps in it. Date of visit: 1/15/23 We're big fans of Texas Roadhouse despite not really being big fans of Texas, so we were please to see the new location appear within 20 minutes of our home; before this location opened, we had to drive closer to 30 minutes to get our sweet bun fix! I appreciate the waitlist option through the website, don't even think about coming without using this feature or you'll be in for a long wait for the near future as the pent up demand for this place is real. Thanks to our planning ahead we only had to wait a handful of minutes to get our table. The buns were as good as ever though the butter disappointed on two fronts: The disposable containers they are served in (they have to go through hundreds of those a day; the plastic, oh the plastic!) and the amount in the container is definitely not enough for four rolls. When we asked for our second basket, we asked for extra butter right away. My usual standby, the smothered chicken was as good as always even reheated the next day as I didn't want to gorge myself after the buns. And the applesauce. And the sweet loaded sweet potato, which was fantastic. Who needs dessert when you have this on your plate!? Service was a touch slow despite the massive amount of staff on hand. Everyone was friendly but it was hard to catch someone's attention and plates lingered on the tables for a while longer than necessary, especially when host staff was walking back up front empty-handed. I took my son to the above listed roadhouse yesterday around 4:00 p.m. Prior to being seated I had to wait for the hostess to tell other co-workers how much money she got back from taxes. I was finally seated. My son ordered a 6 ounce well done steak and I ordered a grilled pork chop and baked potato. My son received his food and cut in it and a short piece of hair was in his food. I informed another waitress of this she took his plate and said I was sorry but left the hair on the table that my son took out of his food versus cleaning it up. We received his new steak but by that time his meal came. My meal was done. I had no issues with my meal. I asked to speak to a manager. Dan finally came to my table I explained to him about the hair in my son food he looked at it and said I can do something for your bill and still left the hair on the table. He removed my son food from my bill but it's very clear to me why incidents of this nature are occurring here if the manager doesn't know to pick the hair up as well then why would a waitress or hostess know as well. The Caesar salad just tastes like dirt(plain & simple). Food was also lukewarm. Newly opened so everything was new and clean. Our waitress was really friendly and very attentive to our table of 6. They give military discounts (10%) and the food was good. The BBQ Chicken is one of my favorites, I like that it comes with two sides. The Mac N Cheese option was new and it was nice that you could upgrade it to be loaded. Food isn't spectacular but tasted like any other Texas Roadhouse. Still good. The warm bread rolls and cinnamon butter are ALWAYS so yummy! We ordered a side of the wings, those are really good too! They taste fresh and flavorful. They still celebrate birthdays out loud which is cool, some places don't do that anymore. It was hard to find parking when we went because it was so busy (I had to park on the side), but when they're not busy, they have a lot available. read more

Haven't been here in along time. This time it was a really great experience. I would definitely recommend to do an online check in so you won't wait in line as it can be pretty packed at night. The waiter was super cool and the food was on point. Order the 8oz steak and shrimp with 2 sides. The Mac n cheese was delicious as a side. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I got the lemonade drink, which I ended up drinking about 5 cups of because it was just too good. The ambiance is pretty loud inside so you can't hear much of anything even the people next to you. We went here for dinner the other night. It was the first time we have ever been to Texas Roadhouse. When the manager found out, she came over to welcome us and brought a care package that consisted of a coupon for a free appetizer and a beer can Coozy. The restaurant is clean and bright with a cheery atmosphere. The server was terrific and friendly. Then there was the food. My wife ordered the sirloin and I ordered the prime rib. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. Each came with 2 sides and was much bigger than we could finish. We will both happily have a second meal at home. The dinners also came with fresh, hot rolls and cinnamon butter. The rolls have a sweet taste similar to King's Hawaiian bread. I would love to eat a dozen of them, they were that good! Not sure what happened nowadays is a hit or miss, unfortunately with the price of food I don't think is worth risking to continue to sponsor this restaurant. The other day I stopped by this location when they opened at 3:30p and my bone-in ribeye with baked potatoes seems warmed. Steak wasn't sizzling hot like it usually is... I noticed my food came after other guest, which kinda surprised me, as well. No excuse for the mediocre service when the restaurant just opened and it wasn't that busy. The ribeye didn't taste like usual, quality of meat was lacking even with the price increase. Servers weren't as amicable, what happened with this restaurant? I understand the place is still "new," but that is no excuse for poor tasting/ poor presentation of food and overpriced under poured drinks. The alcoholic mixed drinks were very short pours and overpriced. The first entree was entirely too salty and looked terrible. The chicken breast that was served as an entree was significantly smaller than the chicken breast that was served on a sandwich to my table. The server did offer me an alternative, which I did take, however the refire took longer than the original order. The best part of the meal was the Caeser salad. Let's start at the beginning. This parking lot is laid out horribly! There are too many cars and not enough room to drive through parking lanes because people make their own parking spots. Heaven forbid there's ever a fire or medical emergency because the emergency trucks wouldn't be able to get to the emergency. I placed 2 to go orders since they opened. This last time the order was completely messed up. I ordered grilled shrimp, no rice (patrons may substitute rice for an additional side), a house salad with everything, another house salad without egg, and a loaded baked potato ($1.29 up charge). I received.....grilled shrimp on rice. One salad with egg, one baked potato with three quarters of an ounce of cheese and butter. No bacon so the up charge was for the cheese. We were given 6 very large rolls and a single (small) scoop of cinnamon butter. The entree was cold. The potato over baked. I called. The teenager said I could come back for the missing salad. It wasn't worth me getting hit by another car in the lot for a salad. The manager told me she'd put a refund on my account. We'll see. Not a game changer either way. read more
