The food was very good. We went at a time when it wasn't very busy, but the attentiveness was not very good. The coffee was not refilled more than once even though menu stated bottomless coffee. I wanted to try something new and support a local small business, so I ordered breakfast from here. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash Bowl and there's no Corned Beef, or if there is, very little. I even included a picture of what was under the eggs, more potatoes. The breakfast was $18.97, I would expect to have some viable and corned beef I could taste. I will not be ordering a $20 breakfast consisting basically only of potatoes and eggs from here again. Very disappointed. read more

Service is terrible. Twice I have came into order a to-go order. Both times the staff took over 10 minutes to acknowledge me even entering the establishment. I would like to mention that the restaurant was not busy either time. Once I was acknowledge I was made to feel like I was a burden. For this to happen a second time is ridiculous. They had also forgotten to package half my order the second time. There was only one 4 top in the restaurant at the time. Staff seemed to want to hangout among themselves rather then greet and care for the customers. Its a real shame because the menu seems to have alot to offer. read more

We live in the area so we wanted to stop by and try it out. This used to be a burger place that we would hit here and there, but sadly Covid changed that. The inside hasn't been changed all that much. Maybe a little less memorabilia for local teams and colleges, but overall still a decent interior. It's still roomy and has a nice feel to it, but it won't knock your socks off. The staff is super friendly and really is the biggest reason for the 4th star on this review. The whole staff was attentive and came by often to ensure we didn't go too long without a warm up on our coffee or at least just a table touch. Everyone was super friendly and answered any questions we had happily. Having been to many diners with the same feel and menus I was kind of prepared for it to be just a run of the mill diner and I am reviewing it as such. If you come in with crazy expectations you will probably be disappointed. They are a diner, but they are a good one. Let's say they are rustic but delicious. The coffee was amazing really. As silly as that sounds I had three cups of it and it tasted great without anything added to it. We ordered a chorizo omelette with berries on the side and a meat lovers omelette with nothing on the side. We still got the hash browns on the side with my meat lovers but that isn't that big of a deal just an unfortunate waste of potatoes since I am low carb right now. The Omelettes are four eggs and whatever your chosen additions are. They were good, but they came out a little bland. As this may seem like a bad thing, it's actually brilliant. I prefer to control my salt and pepper in a dish when I can so I can have it to my liking. I always take a small taste of my food and then add as needed, so this delivery was great for me. All together this was a solid experience and all for less than $30 for us. I'll be going back, especially when I cycle carbs back into my diet so I can try more of their items. read more

The service is terrible. We waited 15 minutes before even getting menus. We continuously had to ask to be helped, thought servers were walking right past us. Our experience here lasted well over an hour. I could also tell surrounding tables were fed up because they weren't being helped either. If you are looking for a long dining experience this is your place. read more

I've ordered their food for delivery and everyone loved it. It was tasty, just right and the portions were large. Having had such a good experience with delivery and compliments, we wanted to eat there. We made the 20 minute drive to it to find this small place in a strip mall. Excited to try it in person we headed inside and came to an abrupt stop. The place was packed, busy, and with it not having a waiting area, those waiting before us were crowded behind the door. We looked around for a host or server and after 5 minutes, we decided to leave. Not a soul came to ask anyone waiting a question and there were no signs of it happening and any order to the chaos. Hence the 3 stars which are for great food but bad service. We'll stick to delivery from now on. read more

There are a handful of places I go to for breakfast. K-Town is one of them. It's laid back and generally not aggressively busy. Friendly staff. And there is something about their Eggs Benedict that I just can't get enough of. Today I had the California Benedict. Just freaking delicious!! Hash browns with sautéed onions and a side of bacon. Put me in a food coma!! Topped it off with a Bloody Mary and coffee. The boss has a fruit parfait. She loved it. read more

It was loud. The food was great and a good price with ample food. Eggs benedict were a bit tart. Sissy had two eggs, two pancakes, two bacon, and two sausage links. Food and service is great. I only wish they were open for dinner. We work out of town and can only get there if we are off of work.

Excellent Service & tasty breakfast. I had the Spinach & Feta Omelette with hash browns & pancakes. They were cooked to perfection, not over done & too dry. Both the food and the service are excellent. They offer an impressive variety of menu choices. Everything I have tried has been outstanding. Service is friendly and attentive. I recently tried the Bananas Foster French Toast. At other places this was just too sweet but K Town Cafe has perfected it. Today I tried the special, Country Fried Steak, I hope to see it added to the regular menu as it was so good and not too salty at all. We go there at least once a week now. read more

We were excited to try this cafe on the north side, however after trying it we were underwhelmed by the food and service. Maybe we just went in when they were having bad day. Like other reviews stated, the ventilation system needs improved. We reeked of the restaurant cooking fumes when we left. It was super strong and off putting. The food was just ok. I had a veggie skillet and substituted hashbrowns for the diced potatoes with eggs over easy and iced tea. The tea was great. Service was prompt, not overly friendly but efficient. The eggs were cooked as ordered, but the thin layer of veggie medley seemed like it came from a bag of frozen vegetables and was under cooked and barely room temperature with very little hashbrowns or cheese. It looked great but the cold temperature and crisp, under heated veggies were meh. I would have sent it back, if our server had checked on us after delivering the food, however this wasn't the case. My husband had the breakfast wrap and diced potatoes. It was just ok and it served hot. We might have given this restaurant another chance with a different menu choice, except the smell of the place was on us all day and wasn't pleasant. read more

I have had meals here both via DoorDash (2/14/2023) and today (2/18/2023) in person. Let me tell you that the food (at least the breakfast- haven't had any lunch items) is OUTSTANDING!! On Valentine's Day I ordered via DoorDash breakfast to surprise my family. Praline pancakes for my daughter, the KTown breakfast wrap for my husband and the Florentine Omelette for myself. We all had a side of bacon and hubby and I had hash browns that came with the meal. The food was delicious!! My husband said his wrap was the best breakfast sandwich he ever had! I loved my omelette! Light and fluffy! My daughter said her pancakes were to die for! Today I had several errands to run so I thought why not start the morning with breakfast and try it in person? We were promptly seated by our waitress Tabitha. She gave us our menus and took our beverage order. (Coffee for me, apple juice for my daughter) . We both ordered the same thing we had before. I like the food here. Never any thing bad but prefer take out to sitting in. They need better ventilation the food smell is heavy.

Don't bother ordering the chili. I was disappointed. Burgers are on point, especially the Cali burger.

OMG food is incredible, the skillets are DELICIOUS, 10/10 service they can get a little busy but I would 100% recommend it.
