What a fun place to dine with the theme of the 1950's! We ordered burgers, fries, and sodas. The burgers tastes like they were hot off the grill and the fries were hot, crispy and delicious. We came to a packed house on a Sunday and the staff did a wonderful job to show us their hospitality! The Carrot cake pancakes were tasty and the side of eggs, bacon, and hash browns were done superbly! The chocolate chip pancakes were a little underdone, but it's expected that they were not leaving food on the flattop for long based on how busy they were! Donna is an Awesome Server! We haven't met someone like her in a long time! We will be back for the service and food , hopefully at a less busy time where they don't look like the parking lot is not large enough! I got the Ham and egg croissant without green peppers, and hash browns on the side. Not only did I find green peppers in the sandwich, I also found two stray mushrooms? Now to the hash browns; they were undercooked and all of the food was completely unseasoned. Got to the register to pay and when they asked what we wanted to leave for the tip, we didn't want to leave one and the cashier gave us a really nasty look before saying " 20% is $8". Should've stood our ground and said now but we were a bit irritated and just said whatever. Everything felt very rushed, the vibe of this place has really declined. The hostess today leaves much to be desired. Then no one waited on us and after about 10 minutes we left. We come here often but it's time to take a break. Maybe revisit in a few months to see if staff has changed. They really only have one good waitress but she hasn't been there the last few times we went. Last week we had so many dirty dishes on the table and empty drinks the waitress walked by several times oblivious to it. In this economy, you'd think people would want the business and tips. We ended up at Vegas Cafe in Antioch which was not much better. I guess McDonalds it is today. Tired of all mediocre to zip service. Time to stay home and eat cereal. read more

We visited friends while on our way to Kenosha and decided to meet up at Bristol 45. It's a cute local spot with a 50s vibe. It's a popular destination for bikers and the parking lot was packed when we arrived. We checked in with the hostess and we didn't wait long for a table. We were seated within minutes. Note they won't seat you until everyone in your party has arrived. They have typical diner offerings and what we ordered was very good. Ben ordered country fried steak and I got a Philly cheesesteak wrap. Both our dishes were good and I liked my cream of chicken soup side too. Our waitress was super friendly, and we had a nice time here. Pricing is decent with many meals priced under $12.00. read more

We have been wanting to try this place and this place does everything right! 1. We were really impressed with the service. The staff was super friendly and managed our expectations. 2. Our waitress was really busy but did a stellar job! She had a huge table of 12 but also made it a point to apologize for any delays (due to her other tables) but she did an amazing job and we did not even feel like our food was delayed. 3. The eggs and crepes were incredibly tasty. I would definitely recommend the crepes. They even had a cute unicorn dish for kids (with an ice cream cone for the horn!). The coffee was super hot which was appreciated. I wasn't quite a fan of the OJ (not freshly squeezed) but the drinks came super fast which I really liked! 4. We always stop here for dinner when on the way home from Wisconsin. They have big portions and excellent meat. We love their soup as well.

We ordered a custom vegetable skillet and (jalapeño) 45 Mac & cheese. The vegetables were fresh and eggs perfectly cooked. My husband's Mac & cheese contained sausage and he really enjoyed it as well. The service was quick and very friendly as is the host that welcomes you.
