Good food. This place is a Kenosha staple but this visit, there seems to have been something going on with the wait staff and ours wasn't very happy. Oh well, people have days. The place was cozy and packed...always a sign of good food!

The place is big but feels small. The food is great. You can get cocktails. They fit people in wherever possible. The owner is friendly and helpful about the area. They take cash and have an ATM inside.

The Coffee Pot was a cozy breakfast place, with traditional dinner food. I had the Perkalator and a Herbavor Omellet. Both were good. The toast is made in house... it was very filling. I read the comments about the rude service, although no one was rude to us, there were some servers that didn't seem happy to be there. And yes, it's cash only... but there is a ATM on site.

A nice locally owned great place for breakfast or lunch. Cute and decorated so nicely. They never disappoint- the eggs are cooked to order....beautifully. The omelets are huge- 3 eggs with lots of ingredients. Pancakes and stuffed French toast are delish. Lunch items are great for a nice soup of the day - and choices of deli sandwiches, Rueben's, burgers and the like. Service is wonderful. Kind, relaxing and allows you to enjoy your time while at the Coffee Pot.

Food was great. Place was adorable. No nonsense service ....service could have more personality to go with cute decor! A welcoming smile and greeting would add so much! Not one person on waitstaff seemed happy to work here. And please, it's 2022 could ya get some non dairy creamer or milk for coffee? Breakfast dish was great! Just make me feel welcome!!!

Went out for breakfast and decided to go to the coffee pot. We were seated right away and service was fast. We got our Drinks right away and placed our order. I will say that my coffee cup did not go under half at anytime!! We got our food and was definitely hot to the last bite since it came off the flat top and to the table. I ordered the omnivore, wife ordered the two eggs, toast hash browns, and ham. Our. Kid ordered the biscuits and gravy w/ two eggs. All the food was hot and delicious. We definitely will go back! And all reasonably priced. Service was great! The restaurant had a nice and quaint feel.

This chef threw down for sure!!!!

This place is amazing! The service with a heartfelt welcome, truly smiles!! Cool old school stools around the counter seats! Always a favorite place to sit at a dinner and got lucky to grab 5 seats w/reservation. Crowded, but moves in and out quickly. Our fresh bread of the day was oatmeal and superb!!! No butter needed, try dunking toast in coffee, no butter necessary! Biscuits and gravy, not salty and perfect ratio. Be aware--- HÜGE PORTIONS, so option of half orders suggested. Flat top sausage patty (no links) thin flatopped crisped on outside and tender inside. Well, of course the perfect hair of the dog after a night of a bar crawl in Kenosha!! THE Bloody Mary, a surprise crisp bacon strip added to garnish. Excellent nonstop coffee. My first visit and will be back. CASH ONLY!

Breakfast art. Originally opened in the 1930s, the Coffee Pot has had different names, but remains at the original location serving the same delicious breakfast and lunch menu. Although they can be very busy on the weekends, the table turnover seems to go quickly and within minutes you'll be seated sipping fresh brewed coffee while pondering the lengthy and innovate menu. We went with something new and something traditional. The "Reuben Omelet" is just what is sounds like, a fluffy three egg omelet wrapped around corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and even thousand island dressing if you want it. Or get it on the side for dipping. I went with ham and eggs, a thick slice of ham "off the bone" ( a think in these parts), a nice little char from the grill on it, two perfectly cooked eggs over easy, crispy breakfast potatoes and house-baked toast. The menu offers some old favorites and new dishes at lunch time. Fresh made sandwiches, juicy burgers, crisp salads and even a veggie plate. They're proud of their bloody marys and mimosas and have some craft beers and splits of wine on hand. The Coffee Pot has recently added a couple of "hotel" rooms upstairs, if you're inclined to explore the neighborhood for the weekend and have a couple great meals brought upstairs to you. Burgers in bed anyone? Yes please.

Found this breakfast spot on a whim. There was a little bit of a wait. This place had good reviews and I was curious about the bennies on the menu. I ordered the smoked salmon benedict, and was not disappointed. The poached eggs were on a delicious piece of bread, instead of the standard English muffin. The bread seemed homemade. Loved the hollandaise sauce and the dill and capers went together perfectly. We also tried the pecan tartlets with bacon and goat cheese. These were to die for. The coffee was decent as well. Needless to say, we were happy to stop here, even if it gets pretty loud inside.

I ordered the half garbage plate with sausage and bacon. Pro tip: ask the difference between the half and the whole before you commit. The half comes with three eggs. The whole comes with five. Five. I chose wisely. Oh and don't forget the homemade bread smothered in butter! It's clearly a neighborhood staple. People were greeting each other by name, swapping stories across tables, and operating like they've been meeting there every Saturday since 1974. Thankfully, they extend that same friendliness to random out-of-towners who just wandered in hungry. The vibe is energetic and communal, the kind of place where conversations overlap and nobody seems to mind. It has a modern, eclectic feel, but there's also a subtle time-machine quality to it. Like you stepped into the 1960s, just with better coffee and fewer ashtrays. Perfect blend of nostalgic and now.

If you're a snobby person or someone with tons of food allergies don't come here. They are irrelevant in a very good way. I would stick to the basics here. My friend got the cheeseburger with fries and it was perfect. They have fresh meat, no frozen patties. I got the half order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and it was perfect diner style food. The portions are huge so a half order was way more than enough. My friend had the roast beef omelette and I wouldn't recommend it because the beef was in chunks and was full of gristle. However, everything else was terrific. I didn't have the garbage plate because the portion was huge but it's on my list for next time. Maybe I'll split it with someone because you need to come hungry. Prices are very reasonable but it's cash only.

However, you can also drive North, into Wisconsin, which is just 40 minutes North. We like to shop at Pleasant Prairie Outlet and after shopping for about five (5) hours, you will get really hungry. Hence, we almost always visit Tenuta's because there isn't quite anything like it by me. But that's a different review... I say all that to say, after getting Italian meatballs, cookies, and Cannolis from Tenuta's, you will immediately notice Ron's Place, right across the street!! They have a local and dedicated following. Yes, you will see Green Bay Packers decorations and people in Packers clothing, gasp!! But!! Their burgers are incredible and so are the cheese curds. They are also known for their Long Island teas but it's kinda early for me when I come here. Check out my pics - I always get the cheese curds, chicken strips, I've switched it up from time to time with my burger selection. Today, we got the extreme burger and it's definitely shareable, it's a gigantic double patty cheeseburger (I selected American cheese). Great service, cool & local Vibes, diners are usually talking shop, the people sitting next to you will be catching up and talkin about Jack and Diane. You can look directly into the open kitchen and see them preparing the great plates of food. Look at the pics on the wall and you will see a pic of McMahon in Packer uniform - the Packers won the Super Bowl that year...sigh...
