Amazing pastrami. Dont need to say more as far as I am concerned, but I will. When we first came in we were greeted by the owner and when he found it was our first time he gave us samples of the 4 different soups they make fresh in-house. No pressure to buy any but if the sandwich had not been so big I would have. All were delicious. Also ordered a slice of their carrots cake and lemonchello cake. Both were some of the best I have eaten anywhere. The cream cheese icing on the carrot cake was perfect and my wife loved the lemonchello cake. Both very moist and truly favorable. Went for grand opening on Friday & super happy this place opened up, it's just down the street from us! We liked it so much that we went back again tonight for dinner, we both got the California sub ($10.50) I got mine without avocado but they didn't put avocados on both the subs which made my bf upset but he still loved the sub. We did a small combo add on ($5) & it comes with fries or chips plus soup plus a drink, pretty good deal if you ask me! One small combo was definitely enough for the both of us. They are a brand new business so they got some work to do, such as building their subs & wrapping it. They do it a little messy, cheese falling off & sauce everywhere. They also haven't put everything they have on the menu so keep a look out in store for things not on the menu! They seem to have a meal of the day like on grand opening it was chicken & rice w salad, today they were all out. So I can't wait to try that sometime! The anticipation of a new place opening right around the corner is over!! We were excited about a new cafe opening when we saw a sign. Finally, it is here! It has beaten our expectations! Very nice people, very cozy and unique atmosphere. It's like I stepped into Middle East. The food we ordered was delicious..we didn't want for it to end... but what caught my eye is a desert window, by the way, can I have it all?! I am a sandwich snob and can immediately tell when one isn't made with love. Ohhhboy not at Moodys!! 50000% the best sandwich I've had - my personal fav is the California. There is also a solid chip selection, every kind of soda a soda lover could imagine and all the cheesecakes look delish too! So while the food is amazing- let's talk about the equally amazing customer service. Super clean shop, very very friendly and helpful owners who insist on sampling parts their menu to experience more the offerings. Well. They are not wrong, sample the soup. Every one I tired was delicious- lentil, chili, French onion, chipotle beef... good luck picking just one! I even got a sample of a smoothie they were making and had a little left over... The melon, mango and pineapple smoothie, shame on you if you don't try it! Then to top it all off... my favorite part!! They don't let food go to waste and donate it to a local organization!! We Received Amazing Customer Service, and Felt at Home, The Cashier was very Attentive and Informative. The Chicken Artichoke Soup was amazing, I would get it again!! My mother and I tried Shwarma for the first time in a Wrap, it was a huge portion we had to share. The Portions are worth the money!! I always wanted to Try Falafel , they were a different taste with a mixture of herbs, something new to me it could get some getting used to but I love chickpeas so I has to give it a try ! For Dessert I had the Lotus Cheescake, it was a great consistency for people who don't like heavy desserts, I loved the taste and flavor combination. I will be back soon for another slice. Unfortunately I didn't have a close-up of the slice but I have a picture of the case it has like a what looks like a caramel covering over it. I've been waiting for a restaurant like this for what seems like forever. The soups are amazing, hummus and baba ghanoush are great, falafel with tahini sauce perfect. Others in my family have ordered sandwiches and other such items and stated they were delicious. I haven't tried the desserts but have had coffee, and a smoothie and loved both. Restaurant setting has a diner/coffee house feel perfect for a lunch, and for dinner I get it as takeout. My new favorite restaurant. read more

The Falafel fell apart almost immediately- (maybe they should make discs that fit the pita). The Reuben was great but the meat was all in one spot. It's fine though. Anyway, they have chips or you can upgrade to soup. I love soup so I decided to get their stuffed pepper soup. Problem was that it was the absolute greasiest thing I've ever experienced. I appreciate that the cook likes to make homemade soup but maybe use better ingredients or atleast drain the fat? It felt like I had grease gloss on my lips- I ended up dumping most of it. I really hate wasting food so that was a real bummer. I am hoping they keep their menu slightly smaller so they can focus on a decent product before venturing out on new mediocre items. read more

We had the meat and hummus platter- DELICIOUS! Falafel sandwich- DELICIOUS! Real-deal falafel with plenty of parsley, great herb color and quality, and NOT the typical bland, flour/fried stuff Chicken Schwarma- DELICIOUS! Great flavor and the whole grain wraps are flavorful and savory. My parents had more traditional sammy's- great, homemade pastrami sub (HUGE), and cheesesteak, and chicken parm sammy- all GOOD. Great options that you can't really find in this general area. This is especially what the northside needed. I had a very delicious jalapeño cream soup. I had an excellent falafel sandwich. I also had the honey/date/avocado smoothie, which was amazing. Great flavors and all homemade. The smoothie did not have the stereotypical overly sweet syrup taste like other smoothie shops; It was very fresh with fresh ingredients. I cannot wait to try other menu items! Being in communication with the mother who lives above them, I've heard time and time again how it will be 5-6am and there will be music so loud in their cars it wakes up her infant daughter.
