The Sidewalk Fries were the star of the show with the ranch dressing. The pot roast tacos were different, but good. Slots are always a nice touch. Chicago sports are great so seeing them represented in WI is nice!

Was in town to visit family over Memorial weekend and let them know we were in the mood for pizza and they told us they knew just the place. After hearing all of their great reviews about Kaiser's, we visited around 6:30pm on Friday, May 23. There was a bit of a wait as expected. Our waitress was nice and friendly. She took our beverage order right away and asked if she wanted to order any appetizers. We decided on the homemade chips & salsa, fried green beans, and beer nuggets which she informed us those would need about 20 minutes. For pizza, we ordered the thin crust buffalo chicken pizza with ranch instead of bleu cheese. My favorite appetizer was the fried green beans. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the beef nuggets. I thought they looked much better than they tasted. They lacked lots of flavor and could use cheese stuffed in them. I also thought they were very dense and dry. Chips and salsa are always a good idea. For the pizza, it wasn't my favorite Buffalo chicken. I thought it could use a nice drizzle of Buffalo sauce on top to give it that Buffalo flavor. It's your typical bar vibes here. Although, they do have slot machines in the bars in WI, not MN. I'd visit again, just try something different than what we got this visit.

I was there for a second time to see if it was just a lucky day or if it really is a 5 place. Indeed it is a really good place to go to. The food is excellent! We ordered a pizza, thin crust, and a broccoli cheddar soup and buffalo wings, it was definitely delicious. And the staff provides an excellent service that you would enjoy your experience! If you like cocktails, don't forget to try the raspberrie mule!

I hidden gem in Kenosha Wisconsin. This eatery has a wide array of delectables, ranging from comfort-food, to sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, and thick/thin-crust pizza. I had the 1/4 lb. bacon-deluxe cheeseburger, with the side of chips, and found it very delicious. A full bar in tavern and plenty of seating. Carry outs also welcome! I'm coming back to try the pizza. Plenty of free parking!

Can you believe it! Pizza with pickles and Italian Beef!!! Awesome!

Extremely slow service! Pizza? How long can it take? However, when it finally came, it was good!

Our burger club always ventures a little further out during Thanksgiving and the summer when our…read moreschedules are a little lighter, so in 2025, we ventured out to Kenosha for The Garage. It was a weeknight, but the street we were driving up to get here was a little dark and run down. But don't let that deter you. They have a nice sized parking lot for their location. Then we walked inside and found a narrow room with a bar running the length of one long wall and counter height tables and chairs perpendicular to the opposite wall. They really jammed in as much as they could in the space that they have. The ambience was dark and moody. They were playing hard rock and the bar had a couple of regulars sitting inside. At the end of the bar at the far end, was a cubicle of a kitchen. That's where the magic happens. Their menu is simple: appetizers, burgers, and build your own burgers. That's it. We all built our own burgers and they have a LOT of options. However, the build your own may start at $9, but each topping adds to the cost. But who cares? The burgers were phenomenal! Their website clearly states, "Best burgers, ever." And they're not wrong. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and delicious. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. And everything is made in this tiny area at the end of the bar. We were the only people in the place after about 20 minutes, but again, who cares. The staff were extremely friendly. Their playful banter and bickering when they cleaned up was hilarious to listen to, and they were lovely to talk to as well. One of our group wanted to pick up some Spotted Cow beer (you can't get it in Illinois) and asked about a place to get it nearby. They suggested Shenanigan's with a drive-through just a couple blocks away. We have to make another trek back. They are awesome and their burgers are great, too!

We were immediately greeted by the nicest man, Bear! He welcomed us and went over the ordering process and their special. I ordered the boring chicken tenders but my brother ordered The Hog Burger. Wow! They weren't playing about that creation. Big, juicy, with chicharrones spilling out of the sides. My brother never looked happier. But honestly, besides the delicious food, stop by and say hi to Bear. He made a regular lunch an adventure. Great conversations, easy going and just a great guy!

First, our plan was to meet at 3 but we were all a little because of the flooding and detouring of our routes. So we arrived about 3:15 pm and we were seated right away. Aaron was our server, and we told him we had to leave at 4:00 pm and did he think that he could make it happened and he replied "I'll do my best". So we got our drink and food orders in, I had the crab cake sliders, they usuall come with chips but I upgraded to parm fries. My 2 friends ordered a grilled cheeseburger and she upgraded to a side salad and the third one in our group ordered a steak sandwich med rare with ff. Aaron put our food order in right away then brought our drinks, a margarita, served on the rocks, a long island ice tea nd a double gray goose with seltzer. Drinks were very good. Then our orders came up. This is were Aaron truly exceeded any service that I have had in a server. We had asked for separate checks and he brought out along with boxes so we could just pay now, and he also brought out 3 boxes. All in all, I would definately return. The atmosphere was great 'Sportsbar", food and drinks were great and the service was excellent. Aaron had us out of there by 4:05 pm

However, you can also drive North, into Wisconsin, which is just 40 minutes North. We like to shop at Pleasant Prairie Outlet and after shopping for about five (5) hours, you will get really hungry. Hence, we almost always visit Tenuta's because there isn't quite anything like it by me. But that's a different review... I say all that to say, after getting Italian meatballs, cookies, and Cannolis from Tenuta's, you will immediately notice Ron's Place, right across the street!! They have a local and dedicated following. Yes, you will see Green Bay Packers decorations and people in Packers clothing, gasp!! But!! Their burgers are incredible and so are the cheese curds. They are also known for their Long Island teas but it's kinda early for me when I come here. Check out my pics - I always get the cheese curds, chicken strips, I've switched it up from time to time with my burger selection. Today, we got the extreme burger and it's definitely shareable, it's a gigantic double patty cheeseburger (I selected American cheese). Great service, cool & local Vibes, diners are usually talking shop, the people sitting next to you will be catching up and talkin about Jack and Diane. You can look directly into the open kitchen and see them preparing the great plates of food. Look at the pics on the wall and you will see a pic of McMahon in Packer uniform - the Packers won the Super Bowl that year...sigh...
