We had tickets for a show that was at 4:30 pm. My friend Cheryl, who lives in Racine picked this place and everything went fantastically. First, our plan was to meet at 3 but we were all a little because of the flooding and detouring of our routes. So we arrived about 3:15 pm and we were seated right away. Aaron was our server, and we told him we had to leave at 4:00 pm and did he think that he could make it happened and he replied "I'll do my best". So we got our drink and food orders in, I had the crab cake sliders, they usuall come with chips but I upgraded to parm fries. My 2 friends ordered a grilled cheeseburger and she upgraded to a side salad and the third one in our group ordered a steak sandwich med rare with ff. Aaron put our food order in right away then brought our drinks, a margarita, served on the rocks, a long island ice tea nd a double gray goose with seltzer. Drinks were very good. Then our orders came up. This is were Aaron truly exceeded any service that I have had in a server. We had asked for separate checks and he brought out along with boxes so we could just pay now, and he also brought out 3 boxes. All in all, I would definately return. Delicious food and nice place to watch the games and catch up with friends. We had the cheese curds and the wings as starters. All were very good and some agreed that the wings were ones of the best ones they even had. We also tried the chili, big bomber sandwich (meatball) and the fish & chips. We came here for Valentine's Day dinner because two other restaurants we tried were full or had wait times of an hour or longer. Upon arrival, the young man at the host station didn't have a clue on how to seat two people (and there were plenty of tables). We almost got seated at a really long table for probably 25 people. Our server was nice, but I felt like we had to ask for everything. The only utensils we got were two forks and a few napkins. Nothing rolled up, no knife, no spoon. In fact, the caddies on the table only have basic condiments. We ordered pulled pork nachos, a burger, and the meatloaf. The salad that came with my entree came before our nachos did. And by the time we were a few chips into those nachos, our dinners came. Overall, the food was good but the service needs improvement. I'd probably come back here for drinks because the bar is clearly the focal point of Mason's. The rest needs some work. read more

This is a great place for large groups! We called in a few hours beforehand and our massive group of 40 was seated quickly on a busy Saturday night. Personally I loved their seasonal drinks - couldn't go wrong with any of them! Burgers are massive, wings were meaty and hot! And who can say no to custom Mac n cheese bowls! We arrived at 7:45 and arrived to find almost all of chairs upside down on tables. We weren't sure they were open, so asked and said they were open until 9. We ended up ordering the filet sliders which are supposed to have caramelized onions. The onions were raw which I don't eat as they make me sick. We told our server. He said "sorry" and walked away. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing, went in with my family last night and had to change the baby unfortunately there is no changing table in the men's room but the wonderful staff made sure the women's bathroom was empty and allowed me to change her in there while guarding the door so nobody entered! read more

I had my first bad experience at Mason's Irish pub. I ordered the Irish stew it arrived luke warm and the potatoes were not fully cooked. I sent it back, it was brought back hot but they didn't do anything about the uncooked potatoes. My husband ordered a Guinness on tap but it was sour and warm. To be fair Ashlee , our server, did warn him that they had just changed the keg and did take the beer back. Disappointing experience this time, perhaps they were just having a bad day. No attempt to make up for the inadequacies was made. It seemed Ashlee our server had no support from the other staff. read more

SO good! My boyfriend and I live pretty close to Mason's and after living in the area for about 4 months, we decided to try it. I have no idea why we hadn't ttirf it sooner but the food is AMAZING! Somehow we went from never eating there to 5x's ... in a week & 1/2! We have gotten wings every time & they're always awesome. The burgers have all been fantastic, sandwiches, even the grilled cheese was SO good! We've gotten carry out every time but just from walking in, you are greeted by everyone who walks past you and we haven't waited to be helped, ever. Had a quick 24 hour trip to visit family in WI and stopped at The Brat Stop on the way up and Mason's on the way back. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Mason's was terrific! If there is an issue they don't care nor will they try to correct it or apologize for it. They do not know the first thing about customer service. My wife ordered our dinner from there tonight and to have it delivered. It never got delivered. I went n picked it up. When I asked to be refunded the $5 delivery fee they refused. Told me to take it up with slice, no apology. They didn't even keep the food warm. If they have apologized properly or at all or acted like they cared I would'nt be discussing this now. read more

I've only ever DoorDashed from here and food has always been delicious. Decided to go in for the first time and eat. Table wasn't cleaned, not a huge deal. Waitress didn't check up on us and wasn't very kind, she also took her sweet time even though she was sitting behind the bar doing nothing. Never checked up on drinks, and was kind of rude when we asked for simple things. My sandwich was mediocre, not a huge deal either. Probably just got lucky with the meals I've chosen before. Omg this place is the best pub I've been too. The food is awesome, I got a barbecue burger with bacon and I was so surprised at how good it was. Tried Mason's yesterday for the first time. Pros and cons..... Pros: pulled pork nachos were amazing, though they need to use a thicker chip. Chips broke easily. My breakfast burger was outstanding, wife's surfer burger also excellent. The garlic fries are terrific. The soft drink size is huge!! Nice decor and atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. Cons: they forgot the Merkts cheddar on my burger. The menus were so sticky I had to peel it off the table. Server dumped a sour cream damn near in my lap and also came close to dropping my food in the same spot. He was very careless overall. I'll go back though because the food warranted it. read more

Stopped in today Saturday April 17, 21. Place was not busy at all! Waitress' were very nice and seated us and took drink orders, looked over the menu and nothing seemed to scream you gotta try this! All the usual stuff, menu had a dirty feel too them like food stuck on them and ugh. We decided to just to apps, well I got the pretzel sticks ( over microwaved ) the were ehhhh. Could of made better at home! Also had the artichoke dip , chips tasted stale dip was deff a frozen heated up version. I will say my drink ( vodka ) was heavy on the vodka side and not a top shelf vodka either it was maybe Smirnoff brand. Our server was excellent! I ordered the chicken tacos and my husband ordered the fish tacos. I didn't have great expectations since this is not a Mexican food restaurant. However, I didn't think chicken tacos could be as bad as these tacos were. If you are on a bland food diet-these are for you. I don't think there was even salt or black pepper on this chicken. Basically boiled the chicken, shredded it and put it on a flour tortilla with lettuce, tomato, onions and cheese. I could not eat it. I put some salsa on it but that didn't help. The fish tacos were edible and my hubby shared with me. I talked to the server about the seasoning and she was told by the kitchen staff that the chicken is lightly seasoned. Well my taste buds must be dead because I tasted nothing. The server offered to get me something else but I declined. She did comp us the meal so that was a plus. The restaurant was a bit dirty on the floor. Food and debris on the floor. It was moderately busy, but not so busy that there wasn't time for attention to this aspect. My wife said they were very sarcastic. We did get seated by one of the two (Landen). Once seated our server (Gabby) proceeded with the normal pleasantries. We advised her that we were waiting for a 3rd person to show, and asked for some drinks. She then came back later with 2 place settings. I reminded her that we were waiting for a third person. Her reply was "Oh I forgot". Now mind you... this visit is not during a busy time (2pm). She then asked if we would like to order drinks. I had to bite my tongue at this time. Gabby did bring my wife's drink and advised me that they ran out of the beer I ordered. I chose another. When she came back with my beer she asked if we were ready to order. Again I reminded her that we were waiting for our daughter. When our daughter did get here there still was no place setting for her. I don't think I will be back to this location. read more

Our visit today was pretty much the most unenjoyable experience we've had at Masons, we requested to sit to the right of the bar to avoid the loud tables with multiple kids on the left side of the bar. Less hectic and a little less noise. For some reason, Mason's which is a bar and offers dining has turned into the new Hotspot for families and large groups of children. Sad, I get it though it's money in the door, but on more than one occasion we have turned around and walked out because of the large groups with adults and children. We used to be weekly customers. Now the adults sit at the tables drinking alcohol while their kids are running wild throughout the entire restaurant and bar. Parents don't care what their kids are doing or who they're disturbing or who's meal gets disrupted. Today was no different, groups of 6 to 7 kids running wild through the restaurant, running around the bar like they're running track, yelling and carrying on. Not one member of Mason's team put a stop to it. I complained to our server and still the wild activity continued. If I want to be in the center of wild kids running and yelling I'd go to a Mc Donald's Playland. I'd expect that we weren't the only ones to complain about this disruption. I don't want to spend over $40 for lunch and feel like I'm in Playland. We won't be returning. Maybe Mason's should consider changing their name to Chuckie Cheese, because that's what they've turned into. read more

First visit to Mason's - group of four did a post movie visit at 930pm on a Tuesday night. Wide open concept, with a bar in the middle of the dining area. Given it was a bit late on a Tuesday, only a smattering of people dining and another half-dozen at the bar. With the open layout, the few people at the bar, were quite loud...sound really travels. Lots of TVs to enjoy sports...very nice beer selection and a good variety of food options. Laura was our server, and she was attentive and friendly. In our group, we had orders for a reuben, fish n' chips, patty o' melt, and a grilled cheese-cheeseburger. Food was fine - will say (my order) the grilled-cheese cheeseburger was very plain. Basically a plain, bland hamburger patty slapped between two grilled cheese sandwiches. No onions, no lettuce, no tomato....plain. Also, I ordered it medium, and it came out with no pink. The side of fries were good. Overall, this place is average...but may retry during a football Sunday. read more

This was the first time eating at Masons pub. The atmosphere has an Irish pub feel to it. Very spacious dinning area. There is a large bar and behind that is a long sitting area with bar stools. Tables and booths throughout the pub. Large screen TVs too. I had the Rueben sandwich which was loaded full of cornbeef and was very tasty. My sweet potato fries were great too. My husband had the brisket Hamburger and he really liked it. A lot to eat with a generous helping of garlic fries. I thought the fries could use more garlic flavor, I really didn't taste much garlic on them. Service was great, but we waited a while for our food. Maybe they are short handed on cooks because of the lack of people wanting to work. We will be back with friends to try their other dishes. read more
