I was on my way out of town and I really like stopping at a new place for breakfast to start my journey and this was the place. The menu isn't huge but it had gyros and eggs which sounded good until I asked if they were real gyros off the spit, no there not I was told. The place is old looking with local regulars gathering on a Sunday morning who all know each other. The woman working the floor sounded like the owner while talking to her and was very friendly, she was welcoming to everyone. Even though I know the country fried steak would be fake frozen crap I ordered it because it's better than fake gyros and I love country fried steak. My breakfast took a bit but it looked amazing with 3 sunny side up eggs, country fried steak smothered in country gravy and golden hash browns with requested onions. The Texas toast is a favorite of mine and it's hard to find at most breakfast restaurants but it was a pleasant surprise and good, this is how you start a weekend road trip off right. This was such a great comfort food breakfast meal to start a weekend getaway and it was how the whole weekend went.

2x2x2 with hashbrowns and toast included! (I ate some of my eggs already lol)

Looking for a fast, friendly, affordable breakfast place? THIS IS IT. An amazing local restaurant with great food. A group of 4 of us went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and were seated right away and taken care of. I didn't get a picture of the menu but they have MANY options. I had the 2x2x2 which was under 10$ !!!! Highly recommended. I will be back again.

Love coming here! Hilda runs a great place! The food is excellent and the ambiance is chill. Always home-cooked have a great meal here. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome

Pig in a blanket. Classy and always good :)

I was a bit judgy upon walking in for a few reasons; 1. The place we wanted to eat had too long of a wait so this was a hail Mary decision 2. LOTS OF KIDS when we walked in 3. Kinda dirty grungy diner where you question the kitchen cleanliness as well. Either way service was great and the food was average. Not great or bad. I of course ordered the classiest dish on the menu of pigs in a blanket which were executed as I would expect. I could tell the sausage was of the cheaper variety. My friend got the gypsy skillet and LOVED it :)

Awesome little diner place near the Alpine Valley ski resort where we were staying. After a full day on the slopes, this place was just what we needed! They have huge portions of comfort food and very fair prices. The service was also very prompt. Overall, great place :)

Stopped for a Friday morning breakfast with my wife..the place was 1/3 filled and greeted by owner Hilda(I think that's her name) with a sincere welcome, the place looks clean inside and out. Hilda stated last year renovations were done including outside paint, Windows, multiple remodeling inside.. We both had skillets and coffee, both skillets were wonderful with fresh coffee.. It's a small diner with a nice atmosphere that will draw us there again

No central air! It's going to be 86 degrees today!

Very good breakfast with a hole in the wall feel. Best breakfast spot in the city for the price.

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

They note that they feature fresh local organic goods, though the cold cuts displayed were Boars Head. I ordered a grilled cheese artichoke havarti sandwich, and it was tasty and not too heavy. Our sandwiches were accompanied by savory gherkins, which were delicious. You can enter via the front or back entrance. Food: Normally, I would get a London Fog Latte and a scone. They have both items, but because of their focus on healthy, organic, and local ingredients, I had to adjust my order and expectations. The London Fog Latte was made with oat milk and honey as the sweetener. The scones (and the rest of the bakery) are gluten-free. Both of these were different from what I would normally have, but they were very good. The London Fog was really well made. For oat milk, it had some very nice froth. The flavor and the temperature were good. The Pecan Maple Scone was also good. Like many gluten-free baked goods, it was more dense. They warmed it for me, and it was a delicious treat and a nice companion to the latte. Service: We received excellent service from the person helping us. We were the first ones there when they opened at 9:00. She was very helpful in explaining the café offerings and was clearly passionate about the mission. The London Fog is not on the regular menu, but they knew what it was and were happy to make it. They ensured we got everything we asked for: lattes in mugs, bakery items warmed, and food brought out to the table. Relaxed, helpful, and friendly service. Thanks, Elizabeth. Atmosphere: The place is bright and cheerful. The bee theme is present throughout the entire café, from the wall coverings to the small plates for beverages. Lots of nice light comes in through the front windows. There is plenty of seating for different-sized groups, with a choice of metal or upholstered chairs, or a couch for different levels of comfort and conversation. The entire visit had a nice vibe. I'm not quite ready to give up my flour and sugar, but I would have no trouble stopping in again.
