We tried their Los Altos eggs Benedict and their farmer's skillet. The chorizo in the Los Altos Benedict is very spicy and I am a chorizo connoisseur. It has too much heat for your average person. The poached eggs were over done and the potatoes had too much pepper, that's all we tasted. The farmers skillet was good but nothing to get excited about. Their juice glasses are large! The service was good and she was very pleasant. However, our server never checked if we wanted more water even when our glass was empty. One more comment, they don't offer iced coffee! Unfortunately, that set the tone from the beginning.

Service: hostesses were efficient and kind. Our server was a very young man (Eli, i think) who took good care of us and was funny. Food came out fast. 5 stars Ambiance/location: Parking was a little tough hut located near a kot of other shops and restaurants downtown. Appears to be a clean and safe neighborhood. Bathroom was clean. While it was busy, it wasn't too busy or too loud. 4 stars stars Food: Mexican skillet and steak and egg skillet (avocado added to both). Ebglish muffin and small pancake. Mexican skillet was fantastic. Even with the jalapeños it was just the right heat for me. 5 stars. Steak and egg skillet was very good. 4.5 stars. Pancake was your standard pancake. 4 stars. I really like the english muffin well toasted and buttered. 4 stars. Overall great spot and great value. I will be back when I am in the area.

It is one of the vintage-looking buildings, painted blue with green striped awnings. It has great curb appeal and feels very welcoming. There are outside café tables and plenty of seating inside for different size groups. Not only are they a coffee house, but they serve a wide-ranging menu of foods, and there are grocery items you can purchase, including dairy, eggs, and meats. They also carry many other items that make great gifts. I got a very friendly greeting from the cashier. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam) in a mug. The blueberry scones looked amazing, so I got one of those as well. They make all their bakery on-site. Everything was excellent, with lots of microbubbles in the latte. Plenty of blueberries in the scone, and it had the right texture (dry and a little crumbly). I forgot to bring my book along, but they have a very eclectic selection, so I was able to peruse some titles I had not seen before. Overall, another great experience. One of my favorite places in Walworth County.

They note that they feature fresh local organic goods, though the cold cuts displayed were Boars Head. I ordered a grilled cheese artichoke havarti sandwich, and it was tasty and not too heavy. Our sandwiches were accompanied by savory gherkins, which were delicious. You can enter via the front or back entrance. The cafe features an array of seating options like fun yellow comfy furniture and a children's table as well.

Food: Normally, I would get a London Fog Latte and a scone. They have both items, but because of their focus on healthy, organic, and local ingredients, I had to adjust my order and expectations. The London Fog Latte was made with oat milk and honey as the sweetener. The scones (and the rest of the bakery) are gluten-free. Both of these were different from what I would normally have, but they were very good. The London Fog was really well made. For oat milk, it had some very nice froth. The flavor and the temperature were good. The Pecan Maple Scone was also good. Like many gluten-free baked goods, it was more dense. They warmed it for me, and it was a delicious treat and a nice companion to the latte. Service: We received excellent service from the person helping us. We were the first ones there when they opened at 9:00. She was very helpful in explaining the café offerings and was clearly passionate about the mission. The London Fog is not on the regular menu, but they knew what it was and were happy to make it. They ensured we got everything we asked for: lattes in mugs, bakery items warmed, and food brought out to the table. Relaxed, helpful, and friendly service. Thanks, Elizabeth. Atmosphere: The place is bright and cheerful. The bee theme is present throughout the entire café, from the wall coverings to the small plates for beverages. Lots of nice light comes in through the front windows. There is plenty of seating for different-sized groups, with a choice of metal or upholstered chairs, or a couch for different levels of comfort and conversation. The entire visit had a nice vibe. I'm not quite ready to give up my flour and sugar, but I would have no trouble stopping in again.

There is seating available for small groups 2-6 people. There is also another adjacent room for additional seating. There is plenty of natural light coming in from the windows. They sell other merchandise at/near the counter. It's a bit cluttered (IMHO). There are lots of regulars that show up here. On most Fridays, during lunch there is a musician playing guitar, and taking requests. It's a relaxing and joyful atmosphere. They offer lots of different lattes, teas, and baked goods. They also make soups and sandwiches. On this day I ordered my usual London Fog (little vanilla, little lavender, and extra foam). I wasn't going to get anything to eat, but they had some freshly baked cinnamon rolls on the counter. The smell was irresistible, so I also got one of those. Both the latte and the roll were excellent. The cinnamon roll was slathered with cream cheese frosting. Yummy, but way to much for me. It's a nice place, with friendly people, and good food offerings.

Teas: The dried teas are delicious and fresh waiting to be pulled out of jars to your liking which you can mix and match and or create your own recipes. I have not tried the baked goods, sorry. Staff is awesome and friendly. Definitely recommend this place.
