Another successful trip to Brunch Berry. Arrived around 1030 Saturday morning - no prob getting a parking spot. There were two of us and got seated immediately. The dining area was really cold today - I didn't think to bring a jacket ‍. And per usual, it was noisy like a busy restaurant. Our waitress was the bomb. She was super attentive and checked in on us. So much to choose from and I was torn. I did decided to order off the summer menu. I had the Rosti benedict. It arrived looking gorgeous. However, I cut it right down the middle to get that runny egg yolk and where want one ...? There wasn't an egg. It seemed like it rest a scoop of maybe farmers cheese or something like that. I didn't say anything because I thought I misread the description. I looked later and realized it should have had a poached egg. Ugh. I did miss that a lot. Main reason for taking off a star - dish not made correctly. The rest of it was very good. The potatoes delish are usual. My cousin had the herb omelette with ham, the potatoes and side of pancakes. She enjoyed it and took half home for breakfast tomorrow, unless her husband finds it first. Of course we will be back to try other things in the menu. This place is starting to grow on me. This is the third time we've visited for lunch/brunch and it's become one of my faves in the southern Milwaukee/Waukesha area. Today we ordered a Reuben sandwich and their specialty Brioche berry French toast. Before I get to that though, I must comment on the service we received. Our server was at the table frequently throughout our meal and, in addition to her, a host stopped by twice to make sure my iced tea was replenished without asking. The food quickly arrived and my Reuben sandwich was old school...marbled rye and lean corned beef (just enough, not a mound of it) with a touch of cheese and kraut. Yummy. It was not greasy and the bread lasted til the last bite. My partner's French toast was also a treat. I couldn't believe she polished off all three slices! We tried the banana latte and the raspberry danish latte; both very good but banana was the favorite and would definitely get that again. I'll start by saying I'm not one for brunch. We wrapped with a project on a Sunday and wanted to swing out for a late breakfast and thought this would be a good stop. The parking lot was full so we had to go to a different lot. It was tough communicating with the hostess who took down our name wrong for the reservation, but they do send out a text when your table is ready. We were also told it would be a 30 minute wait, which was fairly accurate, maybe an extra 5 minutes. Busy brunch time, we get it. By the time we were seated, it was a little after 11:30am. The place was very busy and pretty loud with everyone talking. Our server was nice and suggested some things that she liked on the menu. Most at our table got breakfast and I got the hot honey chicken sandwich for lunch. I heard breakfast was phenomenal. I wasn't sold on the sandwich - it was slathered with hot honey making it difficult to eat without making a huge mess. The fries were also nothing special. Bottom line - maybe focus on breakfast here. Prices are a little steep but the portions are sizeable. Will definitely try again but maybe not on a weekend at prime brunch time. read more

Brunch Berry had quite a bit of really good reviews so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We're looking for a place to have a large party brunch ,but there are no reservations on weekends so it wouldn't work out. I believe it is in a building that used to have Point Burger Bar. The Brunch Berry owners had decorated the new restaurant with a classy, chic French rustic look. I really liked the decor of the restaurant. Something to note - because the space is so open it is very loud in there and hard to have a conversation. We arrived around 9:00 a.m. and while the lot was pretty full, we were able to find a spot open to park fairly quickly. We were seated right away and served ice water and cream puffs. The staff were friendly and took our drink order right away. It took us a while to decide on what to get but once we did our food came out really quickly. Both the Lavender Raspberry Latte and cappuccino were served in a large cup and were really good. The food portions were quite large and good quality and flavor. Wow this place really is something. We've been twice now, and the winter specials this last time - the egg dish (soul sunrise bowl) was literally one of the best things I've had in a long time. The short rib was so tender and the Korean BBQ rice was just phenomenal. We also had the apple fritter French toast - it was quite sweet but amazing, and the seasonal coffees were also nice. I dined in for breakfast with my partner and really enjoyed the food. My chilaquiles were delicious and loaded with toppings. My partner ordered the chicken chorizo omelette with the cowboy potatoes and side of pancakes and that was all delicious as well. Our only complaint is the small table we were sat at by the bar was extremely wobbly so our water and coffee kept spilling if we put any weight on the table. I also decided to get the side of cheesy and buttered grits, and this was a great combo - I would definitely recommend and get it again. Wow I didn't expect this. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and the parking lot was jammed but we were seated right away. The menu is hug and has a ton of great and interesting breakfast entrees. I had the Chile Chorizo skillet and it was very flavorful and huge. It had lots of flavor and was server on a bed of crispy Cowboy Potatoes. Did I mention it was a huge serving! My wife had the Chilaquiles, it's Tortilla chips covered in salsa verde with avocado, jalapenos, cilantro, and Fresca queso topped with Mexican crema and she had it scrambled eggs on top. Also try flavorful and fresh ingredients. The last time we were in this space it was a Point Burger Bar and was a somewhat dark interior. That's all changed. Decided to try a new to us place. Wait for 15-20 minutes which was not a problem. The hostess staff seemed very confused. Took us to the table that wasn't ready yet. So we stood there waiting. Waitress came with the complimentary cream puffs and asked if we want drinks. We order drinks and don't have plates for the cream puffs. She said she will do her best to get us or have someone bring us plates. She said they are busy and understaffed so she promise. Really. So when she brought the drinks, she handed them to us. Couldn't even put them down. That was the same with the actual food. The runner said who had this and then handed to each person. Wouldn't put it down. Their plates and coffee carafes are looking aged and beat up. When paying, we were going to pay with credit card and give a tip in cash. Get the bill and we had the tip on the table not near the bill with the credit card. The waitress reached across the table and grabbed the money that was sitting next to someone's plate. No one said it was the tip. She was just taking my credit card. Awfully bold to just grab money off the table. Who's to say that person was paying their portion of the bill. Felt very rushed. Service was also great. Everyone smiling. The interior was clean and bright. I think it is a solid 4.5/5 the only minor critique, the sausage links were a little well done.
