It's a cold space not temperature wise although it was cooler in there than other breweries we visited. It also had an unfriendly vibe, I wouldn't recommend the place or the beers. Upon arrival the host asked if we had a reservation( there were maybe 10 guests there). We grabbed a table and perused the menu. Our server Dylan showed up and asked if we would like to place a drink order and we said water while I looked at the beer menu. 10 minutes later he showed up with no water, but ready to take our drink and food orders. I place my beer order and said no food, just the water while we waited for the beer. 10 more minutes go by no water and he returns saying none of my beers could be had in a flight or they were out. So a quick juggle on the order and the beer and water show up and the beer is meh. I honestly have no idea how they are in business, no beer, slow service, and unwelcoming space and big clue when we walked in should have been...no customers.

Food was so good! Our favorite was the poke nachos. Beer was excellent as well. Would definitely eat here again just because I want to try more things on their menu. We also did the brewery tour which was a lot of fun.

This was such a cool place! Lots of small batch and experimental beers I wouldn't have found anywhere else! Loved getting to try all they had to offer!

Wednesday wing special - A metal tray contains several buffalo chicken wings coated in sauce, accompanied by three celery sticks and a small cup of creamy dipping sauce, likely ranch or blue cheese. The tray is lined with branded paper from Pilot Project Brewing, Milwaukee, WI.

Stopped in before the Buck's game on a Wednesday night. This space is huge with a long bar running down the left side of the building with tables spread throughout. Like the reason of being of this place, serving as a launch pad for start-ups. While I don't remember specifically the beers that I had (more as a result of age than consumption), I will say all were tasty. There is also liquor and wine options for those that are not fans of malty beverages. A solid menu but since it was Wednesday, I couldn't turn down their wing special. At $1 a piece (orders of 5), they were excellent. Paired with various sauces, 10 wings definitely filed me up. My bartender was excellent at giving recommendations on the beer choices and always kept my water glass filled. Also loved the fact is wasn't slammed as those on MLK in the Deer District. A short 5 minute walk definitely separates the wheat from the chaff and it is a great stop for pre/post game beverages and noshes.

The Halloween Bash was fun! Live music , AXE THROWING! Pop up shop tacos, tiny beer glasses and a Swag bag!

The image shows a large indoor space with a high, dark ceiling featuring linear lighting. There are multiple tables with seated patrons, and a bar area on the right side with staff serving drinks. The background includes large glass windows and a green wall with plants, allowing natural light to illuminate the space. The setting appears to be a brewery or restaurant with a contemporary design.

Enjoyed our afternoon/evening here for a surprise 40th birthday party! The staff was welcoming and took great care of our group. I tried the NA beer and the shandy. Both were good. We were able to try a variety of foods purchased by the host and everything was delicious. I loved all the greenery used to brighten up the space. We were downstairs, which has a great open concept, TVs, and a large bar. We also ventured upstairs - a very cool area with a nice view. Parking can be hard to find. I'll definitely return during less busy times.

Great location, good food, good beer. You get a lot of food for what you pay and it's all pretty tasty. The wings were good, ranch dipping sauce was spot on. I tried the candied bacon rub and I thought it would be on the sweeter side but it was actually kind of spicy. Main complaint was that I didn't get a lot of bacon flavor from it. The other half was bbq, can't go wrong there. I did a flight of beer to go with my wings and the sour was my favorite. I felt like the options were a bit sparse, especially with how big Pilot is in the Milwaukee area. Overall good spot with gorgeous greenery inside. Service was good. She was quick to get our drink orders and then come back for food orders.

Fried pickles - Fried pickles are arranged on a metal tray lined with branded paper from Pilot Project Brewing. The pickles are coated in a crispy batter and sprinkled with seasoning. A small black cup contains a creamy dipping sauce. The tray is placed on a table with a light-colored surface, and part of a black cup and utensils are visible in the background.

We wanted to try something new and stumbled across this place It's BEAUTIFUL inside. The various plants around the restaurant & spacious dining area. Very inviting. The service was amazing across the board. Food came out pretty fast, and tasted great. Pricing was reasonable!

A tray filled with fried chicken nuggets is placed on a wooden table. The nuggets are golden-brown and appear crispy, with some showing herbs or seasoning. A small black cup containing a white, creamy dipping sauce is positioned on the right side of the tray. The tray is lined with branded paper featuring the word 'DEFT' repeatedly. The background includes a metal surface and some equipment, indicating an indoor or outdoor dining setting.

Pilot Project was so much more than we expected. The interior is contemporary and spacious, and the plants were gorgeous, a different atmosphere than most breweries, and has a modern, airy feeling. The interior feels as if you are outside. We sat at the bar and service was friendly, and very nice. We ordered the cheese curds to accompany the beers. We were not expecting the portion to be so large. The sauce was ok, but we would have preferred ranch. The Standard Goods Lager was the favorite, and we bought some to take home. Overall, a good place when in the area. I would like to return for the beer tour.

Two men are standing inside a modern building with glass and metal interior elements. The man on the left is wearing a red patterned shirt and a black vest, holding a clear plastic cup with a beverage. The man on the right is wearing a white polo shirt, a cap with sunglasses on top, and a watch, holding a yellow pen. They are smiling and appear to be enjoying a casual moment.

I was really impressed by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail they put into this place when building it out. The Chicago location is lovely, but this one is INCREDIBLE. It's HUGE, it's spacious, it's airy, it's light. We were fortunate to come at a weird time on a gorgeous autumn day and had no problem setting up a spot on the rooftop with our group of 15! Everyone got drinks they wanted, we took some photos with the skyline, and soaked up some sunshine. Downstairs, we later had some of our group enjoying bags and other yard games INSIDE because there was space for that. If I lived here, I'd definitely be eyeing that private room for events. I was DD that day and appreciated that they had some Liquid Death options for me to choose from. Love all the plants, love the swag, love what you're doing. Hope to visit again in the future.

Pickle Fries - A tray of crispy fried pickle fries coated in breading, served on branded paper lining a metal tray. A small cup of dipping sauce is placed at the top of the tray. The tray is on a wooden table, and part of a person's arm and hand are visible at the top of the image.

We tried Pilot Project a little while back before a game. Great building and ambiance inside. Lots of space with bar seating, tables and corn hole. We ordered the fried pickles to start and I loved that they came in strips. I got a brisket sandwich which was just okay but the sweet potato fries were good. So many things to explore on the menu and the service was fast. Great menu with lots of beers and cocktails. They also have brewery tours we're excited to go back for!

Plant Wall - The image shows an indoor dining space with a modern design, including a large green plant wall with various potted plants arranged on a black grid. There are wooden tables and benches, with several people seated and engaged in conversation. The ceiling has exposed ductwork and large circular hanging light fixtures. Two small screens display animated figures, and the overall atmosphere is contemporary and open.

Okay so I will start off by saying we aren't drinkers, and we just went for food because it was close to our hotel. But we had a really great experience here, and would visit again. The live plant wall? So cool. If you're a plant lover, you'll enjoy this place definitely. Our server was super kind, and never left us needing anything. The portion sizes were huge, and everything was super tasty. My husband did try an NA IPA that they had and said it was tasty. The only thing I would have done differently is asked for extra dressing on the salad! Honestly, no complaints about our visit. Definitely would be a fun hangout for a group.

Great location in the brewery district. Open and spacious place with a great atmosphere. I loved the bar and the hanging plant wall. They had plenty of TV's around so you could watch a game, they had a room for bags, and glass so you could see into the brewing area. Really cool spot! The staff were very friendly and attentive. They had my favorite kind of beer glasses. A great beer list with many choices. I went with an NA and really liked it. We also had lunch here. We had a big pretzel and the BLT&A. I wasn't super impressed with the food. The BLT has super thick fatty bacon. The rest of it was good though. The pretzel was average for the Milwaukee area. Definitely a fun spot to come with friends or family. I would go back but not likely for a meal, just for drinks and maybe a few apps.

It wasn't too busy so we were able to get some booth seats- we had some brisket rolls and elote corn for appetizers and they were sooo good, the rolls had a nice spice to them! I got their Friday fish fry while my boyfriend got the jalapeño popper burger and we loved our entrees! The battering of the fish fry is def one of my favorites in the area, and my bf loved their burger! My bf (a beer lover) said this place has been one of his favorite breweries he's been to in the MKE area! I had the Wisconsinitis while my boyfriend got their barley beer Deeply Rooted and he was looooved the barley beer! He was sad when they couldn't bottle it up and I don't think triple tap sells it bottled or may be out! Otherwise- such a good dinner, we'll be back!

First time here. Came over after see a movie at the Oriental…read more Got here around 5:00 on a Saturday night. The place was about half full. They have a couple of different areas, and the one towards the back had a private event (birthday party). To me it feels more like the name, a Taproom with a Kitchen. It has a good selection of adult beverages and a small, but decent selection of food. The menus are all online, and you go to the bar to order (they have servers to bring you the food). Got a round of drinks (Sangria, Marguaritas, and Old Fashioned). They were all good. For food, we started with an order of the Cheese Curds. They came out hot, with the chili honey sauce drizzled on top, with a side of ranch. They were good, but could have benefited from being cooked longer (some were soggy or cheese not melted). For our dinners, we ordered the Shrimp tacos, Brisket tacos, Veggie Quesadilla, and the Hamburger. Everybody was satisfied, but nobody was all that excited. My Shrimp tacos were just okay. The flour tortillas tops were hard and the lower parts soft (as if they might have been sitting under a heat lamp. The pico de gallo was okay, but it had jalapenos, and I didn't think to ask. (But easy enough to pick out). The whole plate seemed a little thrown together. The burger was the best of the entrees that we ordered. For service, you need to go up and order. It took a while to get someone's attention, but in taking the order, they were friendly and helpful. The food took a reasonable amount of time, but during the meal nobody stopped back to ask how things are. Maybe because we didn't have an actual "server" we were left on our own. It was an okay experience, but not a place that I would see us coming back to.
