Par for the course! Stopped into grab one of their shuttles to a brewers game and met up with a group of friends before. We enjoyed a few drinks and some food. Overall everything was pretty standard bar food. The wrap with wing sauce took the prize. Thomas was our amazing server for the night. Really liked his laid back, but friendly and helpful demeanor, as well as his professionalism in accommodating our needs. Made our experience super easy and perfectly pleasant. Grilled wings Ooh, these were perfectly grilled. Very tasty sauce (hot honey garlic, at Thomas' recommendation) that wasn't overdone or underdone - just the right amount. I usually get my wings naked because so many places go wrong with the amount of sauce (usually just too drenched), but since we were on a timeline tonight, we just ordered without asking for anything else. So glad we did! By the way, not fried wings, so not super crunchy on the outside but still crispy and not at all soggy. And super moist, perfect temp inside. Tap Guinness Perfectly poured with just the right amount of cream on top. Hany is usually an IPA man, and went Guinness this time and did not regret it! Overall, this place is a little bit further away than the new hopping bars on the Deer District. I wanted to try the new places, so kept on trying them while hubby wanted to keep coming back here... and I'm glad we did this time. I have a sweet spot for this bar as it was home to the first date of the love of my life! Classic sports bar located walking distance from Fiserv Forum that offers food and drink. There is plenty of TVs for sports viewing and for big games they use the overhead speakers for audio. I had a great time at Who's on Third for the Brewers game. They offer a free shuttle with purchase of food or drink inside the bar. The bartender I had was super sweet and personable! I wish I had gotten a name to shout her out because she was amazing. My drink was made perfectly. I was a little worried about my tenders because they looked dark in the lighting, but they were actually cooked to perfection. Ranch was great too. Anthony made the shuttle ride to and from the ballpark super easy and fun! He's also super personable and kind. We chatted a lot on the ride back. We stopped by here after the Admirals hockey game since my cousin and I were craving wings, and this spot was the first place that came to mind! It's only a quick 4-minute walk from the arena, and their wings are always grilled to perfection with plenty of sauce. No surprise they're rated #1--every flavor is unique and delicious. The traditional wing order comes with 8-10 wings, a few sticks of carrots and celery, and blue cheese or ranch. We went with hot sauce, BBQ, and bourbon. I had the hot sauce, which was semi-hot, a bit spicier than mild, and the bourbon had a nice sweet BBQ flavor with a hint of smokiness. Based on our waitress's suggestion, we tried both the regular fries and the sweet potato fries with marshmallow dip. The sweet potato fries were more like a dessert treat, sprinkled with cinnamon and perfect with the marshmallow dip! Definitely a fun sweet treat after the wings. The only downside was a weird smell when we entered, like an old gym locker room--not sure what that was about. But overall, the food and service were great. My wife and brother was visiting Milwaukee for the Midwest Gaming Classic. We were looking for some true Wisconsin grub and found Who's on Third. It was a short walk from the convention center. There are other places nearby with a similar menu but I loved the play on the Who's on First skit. The first thing we had to try was the cheese curds. Based on the cheese curds alone, Who's on Third should be a 5. They had a rich beer type of batter and the cheese inside was immaculate! It came with ranch and I asked for Who's sauce. I didn't care for the Who's sauce as it is like a Sriracha type Mayo. My wife and I both ordered brats. I went with the mac and cheese brat and it was just ok. I really had high expectations for it and it fell flat. My wife had the Milwaukee brat with onions and sauerkrat. Her brat was much better than the mac and cheese but I felt both were overdone. My fries and her chips were marvelous! Seems like both were made on house as the fries had a beer type batter to them. Overall, very good especially the cheese curds! We stopped downtown for restaurant week and opted for Who's on Third so we could enjoy the nice weather on their patio. Nice and spaced out - beer garden style. The estimated value of our lunch was $35 but that wasn't too accurate as you get smaller portions of the apps. Don't get me wrong - there was plenty for lunch but it just wasn't exactly accurate with pricing. The curds were okay but the marinara was flavorful. The pretzel was pretty oily/buttery but the cheese dip was good - little jalapeno flavor to it. Based on menu pics, the normal apps are at least 2x the size. I asked for a well done burger with sauce on the side but didn't get that. Also, the menu said we would get kettle chips which would've been preferred as the fries were super greasy. We didn't want to cause a fuss as our server indicated some issues in the kitchen already. They had to re-make our wrap as ours was taken from the kitchen. I heard the wrap was okay but not worth going back for. The brownie was good but while my husband's was warm, mine was cold as if straight out of the fridge. Still tasted great with caramel and chocolate drizzled on it. Kind of bummed we stopped here with the other options for restaurant week but we were impressed with our server who was nice and attentive. Also, it's worth noting that they charge a service fee on all CC transactions. However, when they "bring the bill", it is more the server telling you how much everything is. I was expecting a dive bar and was pleasantly surprised to walk into a legit sports bar. The place was clean, blasting Blink 182 and Green Day which took me back to my youth, and cheap beer on draft. The cheese curds were delicious. The service was a bit off on the night I went which is the only reason for minus 1 star. I received an entree different from what I ordered and I ordered a bottle of beer instead of draft. Minor things, no big deal. Still had a great time. Sport bar is more accurate as once the Brewers game is over, it was a task to get another game in the TV. If you want to see multiple games at once, go next door to the Brat House. We came here craving some classic American BBQ food and were not disappointed! Grease at it's finest, but it was Sunday Funday so we deserved it. They give the classics a twist which is a breath or fresh air. I started with a blood mary which was A-OK and I added some tabasco to give it a little more kick. The bacon mac and cheese brat was hearty and delicious. SO much crispy bacon pieces and could have used some more ooey gooey mac and cheese, but that was probably better without taking a lactate beforehand. The chips were deliciously crispy! I wish it was paired with an aioli or another sauce, but ketchup/pepper was still good. We also ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich which included onion rings and poblano peppers. The BBQ sauce/ pulled pork was really good with the pepper. The onion rings were just OK to me but I like the toasted bread -- must eat quickly for the bread to hold. The wings were some of the best I've ever had and I got the honey bacon Buffalo flavor which was perfectly sweet and spicy. Lastly the burger was overall good but not great. Stumbled in here later on a Sunday evening and I was pleasantly surprised to see them still serving food. I ordered chicken tenders (no fries) and the chips with grandma's dip instead of the fries. (They charged me $3 extra for the dip and chips which I thought was reasonable. The dip was awesome. Full of onion flavor..just a bit too large of a portion for me to finish especially compared to the amount of chips. The cream cheese made the dip thick and rich...you only needed a small amount per chip. I would say either make the dip lighter (whipped cream cheese) or decrease the portion (which if you know me, I never say). I just hate wasting food. The flavor in the breading of the chicken tenders was absolutely amazing. And they were real chicken breasts. However, the breading fell off super easily and was soggy. The wait staff was friendly and very accommodating. They highly recommended the deep-fried cheese curd appetizers, which we gladly ordered...totally awesome! I ordered the mile high club with fries. My freind booked their round trip bus to Packers game. Unorganized chaos to the start of the day. They said to be there at 6am. No one was there. We sat outside for 30 minutes. Bar next door was packed full of packer fans and found out that they run buses too. So we went over there for a drink and then came back and sat outside by this place and still no one showed up. So we went back to the brat house and sat at the bar and had some more drinks. Someone finally showed up to let people in who were waiting out front around 7:15am. No apology and they were miserable. Terrible way to start the trip. After checking in they made us stand in line outside of the buses. Another 20 minutes I would say. Don't waste your money! Once we did get to Green Bay the tailgate was good and plentiful. Plenty of option to pick from. But the whole day started off terribly.
