Vodka Pasta Alla Vodka

My husband and I love to go to Bridgewater for celebrations. If the weather is beautiful and it's possible make sure to sit outside to enjoy the gorgeous patio and river view. The waitstaff is always friendly and the service is always quick. Our favorite is the pasta, all vodka, and the steak Fritos as well as the specialty cheesecake that they have in season.

In town visiting and the girls decided to stop in. The patio was closed so we got a table for 6. They said we needed a reservation and said we would need to leave our table by 6:15 because they had a reservation for that table. We got there around 4:15. Everyone seemed confused as to where else we could sit. Overall a nice place...had 3 lemon drops that weren't strong at all, but the lobster bisque soup and wings were good

We had a reservation for 7 PM for 9 people for my friends birthday. August was our waiter and he was spot on. Very attentive to all our requests. Everyone loved their food. The stand out was the waygu burger and the crab cakes. The only reason for the 4 star is they need to have more of a variety on the menu. All the employees were very kind though. Nice view of the river too.

I love coming here as it's close to home and next to the river/water vibes. Service at the bar is fantastic. Food is always top notch and love the burger! Make sure to use your Benson App to get points/rewards.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed Bridgewater yet. I've dined there several times, had the Bridgewater Burger and the Lobster Roll multiple times each, as they are my favorite menu items, but I've also had amazing ribs, steak, duck tostada, crab cake, pork belly, and Chicken n Waffle! Food is always great, and the service never disappoints!

This is hands-down my favorite spot in the city for an espresso martini. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the same energy this time. I came in for the lobster roll special and was disappointed to find it dry and overcooked. The lobster itself lacked flavor, sadly the fries totally stole the show. The mac and cheese was okay noodles cooked al dente, but it was quite bland, but cheesy. That said, the service was fabulous as always friendly, attentive!

Such a fun spot right on the riverfront! If you're looking for a high vibe place with fantastic food then look no further. I can't wait to come back when the weather is nicer because the patio (and another sangria) are calling my name. For now, I'll talk about how great our meal was tonight. Crab cakes and pork belly for apps, scallops and steak frites for dinner...hit it out of the park. Portions are on the smaller side, aligning more with a true fine dining experience but allows more room to try more things! Super fun cocktail menu which I appreciated. Great service and attentive service was the cherry on top.

Our party of five stopped by for dinner a few weeks ago and the Bridgewater is all people are saying it is - good food, great drinks, modern, and on the water. We were first time customers and loved the atmosphere. Reminds me of places on the water in Boston with a nice indoor outdoor option. I was a little on the not super hungry side, so I ordered the Gnocchi, which was good. Next time I'll not eat lunch and go for a bigger dish. Our party of five liked their dishes, the Branzino looked perfectly done, but no one was wowed by their dinner compared to the price point. There are great views sitting outdoors, and the bar outdoors could be a good option for drinks and apps. I look forward to my next visit to the same!

My son lives in the building above The Bridgewater and we've talked about going many times when visiting him when we come to Milwaukee. We went on a recent visit and were very pleasantly surprised with how absolutely fantastic the food, service, and ambiance was. Situated on the river in a great, modern mixed-use development The Bridgewater is a great spot for work dinners, date night, or a special occasion. Our dinner was excellent. We started with the local sourdough with ash butter and sea salt and the artichoke dip. Both were excellent. My son and I each got a caesar salad--easily one of the best caesar salads I've ever had. I dream about that caesar now and can't wait to go back and get it again. For our mains, we had the grass-fed ribeye, the scallops with corn grits and rapini, the market fish, and rotisserie chicken. Everyone said their mains were great. Cocktails were also excellent, from the "spiked" horchata to the Smoke and Sage with tequila and mezcal. Can't wait to get back to visit my son in Milwaukee soon so we can "head downstairs" to The Bridgewater again!

My friend and I visited Bridgewater to celebrate our recent birthdays. She made the reservation and told them the occasion. We were gratified that they acknowledged it when we checked in - so many places ask, but they never recognize the event you're celebrating. They even had the staff sign a card for us, which is a cute touch, if hard to share among two people. We ordered cocktails and appetizers and told our server we might order more if we felt we needed it. As it was, three appetizers turned out to be almost enough food for us. We tried the shishito pepper appetizer special of the day. They were roasted and served on a hummus base. I wasn't mad at it, but some bread or something would have made it a more complete dish. My friend would have preferred the peppers to be de-seeded. We had the brie. I found it to be good, but not great. It was a small brie wheel for the price and not completely melted, and again, more crostini would have been great. I do get irritated by the lack of breads/chips/etc. that restaurants provide these days to go with dip-type foods. It's not the expensive part of the dish and to be tight with that part seems a bit stingy. It's certainly been since the pandemic and it's a practical solution to some food waste issues, but then please, check back to see if diners need more. We also ordered the tuna tartare. It had very good flavor and I liked the six crispy wonton pieces we were allocated, but the tuna pieces were pretty chunky. One would have expected either thin slices or a finer chop, but that didn't impede our enjoyment of the dish. It was just a little rougher than you'd expect in fine dining. And we needed more wonton bits. We ordered a dessert to fill up just a bit more - the brown butter cake. It was lovely. It wasn't overly sweet. The cherry distribution was very good and not excessive. We liked it a lot. My fried ordered extra creme fraiche, which was an excellent move. They also brought us a complementary flourless chocolate cake slice with two candles, which was an excellent companion dessert. I cannot speak to the view since it was dark and snowy and we couldn't see anything outside. Our server was great and did not express any irritation at all when we didn't order entrees on a Friday night. I'm glad I tried it. I'm not sure I need to go back. Bridgewater was good, it just didn't feel new in any way or innovative, or old school in any significant way either.

Lukewarm eggs Benedict...twice

From visit on: 2/8/26 - late review! My date and I were so excited to try the Eggs Benedict flight. We had reservations for Sunday at 11. Our server was very kind, great atmosphere in the place as well. We ordered a side of the potatoes and they came out nice and hot. Unfortunately, both of our Eggs Benedict flights were lukewarm at best, from the first bite. My date made a comment to the server and she offered to reheat. We initially declined but within a minute changed our mind. Our server was understanding and quickly brought over an extra flight (which I saw her bring from the heating lamps). This plate was also the same temperature. I really don't like to leave neutral or negative reviews, but it's unfortunate to spend money and have a less than par experience on the food we were looking forward to eating. We did take a small box to go and the crab cake heated up later was very delicious, but just not the same as if we had been given a hot meal to start at the restaurant. I've eaten here for dinner and was super impressed with the serving size, but I don't think I'd come back for brunch.

Let me start out by saying I didn't know when we went but I know now they use Creekstone Farms for their Beef IYKYK! So I can't wait to go back and try it out! But dinner last night was really good, probably the best branzino I've ever had, perfectly cooked, filled with flavor, no bones, fantastic! Great views as well from the river with the sailboats a few still docked. The Brie was a favorite of mine I loved the hot honey on it with the greens! My wife got the bucatini and again filled with flavor wasn't too heavy either. Service was wonderful and they got my wife a blanket outside as well.

The food is amazing. Third time here. They accommodated a party of 15 for a birthday dinner. Drinks - really nice. Service - quick but when it's a large party it's not super personable. Good - Amazing. I had the scallops and they were the best I've had. If you like sweet bacon flavor it's a must. It was honestly mouth watering. I'd go back just for those scallops. Ambiance is so nice. Water views so in the summer it's gorgeous.

We had reservations at 6:00 on a Saturday night. (It was cold, a little drizzly, and windy out.) The front entrance has several steep steps, and when you walk through, you are literally at the host station. They were going to seat us right behind the host station, but we knew it was going to be a problem as people went in and out. We asked to be seated a little farther from the door, and after a bit of discussion (it sounded like this was going to be a little issue), they were able to find a table for two in the parlor. So glad! Got settled in right away with menus and waters. Our server did a good job of getting us up to speed on the menu, the service, and the cocktails. They did a very good job throughout the evening (thanks, Roberto). We settled on the Window Seat (Beef Tallow and Rosemary Washed Vodka, crazy but true) and the Night Clubbing (with espresso-infused Campari). Both were very good choices. We decided that we wanted to start with three dishes and then regroup if we needed more. These included the Bok Choy Salad, Cumin and Cinnamon Braised Pork Shoulder, and Venison Tartare (Dijon Ice Cream?). The Bok Choy Salad was a real surprise, with the entire collection being so bright and flavorful. The dates had a meaty quality. The dressing with Nuoc Cham was savory with just a bit of heat. We both decided that we could have made an entire meal of that. The Pork Shoulder came next and was a good portion, with the meat tender and flavorful. The Quinoa Polenta was interesting, but I can't say that it was something I would seek out. I have had Beef Tartare before, but this was a first for Venison Tartare, so of course I just had to order it. What struck me first was that the entire thing (not just the Dijon Ice Cream) was very cold, almost frozen. I tried a couple of bites, and it was so cold that unless you let it sit in your mouth to thaw out, it was somewhat tasteless. I spread it around the plate to thaw out, and it was a big improvement. It's a good-sized portion, and even after loading up on the three pieces of bread, there was still plenty left (maybe a couple more pieces of bread?). There were a couple of desserts that we would have loved to try, but we were full and had a performance to attend. So we will have to wait until next time. Really enjoyed our first dinner. Loved the inventiveness of the menu. The staff all seem to really care about the business and the diners. With the placement of the front door and the draftiness of the dining room, we will likely book our next dinner when the weather turns warmer.

I tried the lamb jerk dumplings and tofu. Highly recommend. They both had unique flavors especially the lamb. The tofu had a nice crispy texture to it with the soy based sauce glazed over it with scallions. I also tried a mocktail version of La Pucelle, it wasn't explicitly listed in the mocktails section so you can order a mocktail version of some the alcoholic cocktails. For dessert I tried the Panna Cotta, it was my first time ever trying it and tho go get it was really good. It had a pomegranate sorbet scoop on top sprinkled with frankincense laid on a bed of shaved ice with the creamy base at the bottom of the bowl. It was refreshing! The waiter was very helpful, he explained how they served food and drinks and when I asked about I n residents for the dessert he was able to describe them in detail.

It can get really loud in here so you may have to shout a bit at your dining party. I would definitely recommend having a reservation. I don't think there was an empty seat in the whole place the entire hour and a half that we were there. Service: Really helpful and kept our waters filled and did pretty decent with the tempo of the meal. The entrees came out before we were finished with the appetizers and with how small the tables are it was an insanely tight fit and basically a juggling act, but that's minor. I preferred the shu mei and my partner preferred the xiao long bao. Which was nice that we each had an opposite preference. We also ordered the tonkatsu ramen and the mapo tofu. The tonkatsu ramen was a bit bland and it was interesting with the corn in it...however the chasu pork that topped it was delicious and plenty! The mapo tofu honestly might be the best I've had. I would order that every week if I lived in the area. The spice level was perfect on it with ample amounts of pork (I LOVE spicy food and this was exactly what I was looking for, my partner took one bite and started to sweat so be careful lol).
