I ordered the 3 Spring Rolls:1 Viet Sweet Chicken, 1 steak and 1 shrimp with red peppers, cilantro, pickled red onion, mint and golden garlic. Dipping sauces: peanut and guava vin. I am a fan. They were all very good. It was enough for lunch and dinner for me. The staff were helpful, walking me through the process and their thoughts on different items. I would say it is on the pricer side. The shrimp is $2 extra and the steak is $3 extra. Any side more than four will cost .25. The lemonade is $7 without boba. They have flavored water, which was also really good. My meal was $25. I've been wanting to try Rollup for awhile, and was glad I could stop in today! There are a few options to choose from to start, and then you move through the line adding your ingredients. I opted for the trio of spring rolls and was shocked at how big they were. One would have been plenty! I got the garlic shrimp which had a lot of flavor. Unfortunately, a few things got messed up with my order: I asked for lettuce but just got the spring mix, and I asked for mint but got cilantro. Unfortunately, cilantro just doesn't sit well with me, which kind of ruined the rolls. However, I would have definitely liked it if the cilantro wasn't in there! I ordered delivery from Rollup because I was dying for something fresh for dinner on a hot night. I had a Big Momma Roll with scallion fried tofu, the everything (all toppings except chili crisp), pickled carrots, peanut sauce and Avo Queen. Both sauces were good, but I'd lean toward the peanut. It's a classic. The roll was good and definitely fresh, but pretty difficult to eat at the size it comes. I think I'll go for the smaller trio on my next order, simply so everything stays inside the rice paper, rather than tumbling out in a mess of noodles. Great concept. read more

It's like a chipotle or subway, where you go down the table picking your ingredients as they put together one of the 3 (or 4) vietnamese dishes: spring rolls (like a burrito with rice tortilla and vietnamese flavor inside, noodle bowl (everything in a spring roll but in a bowl without the rice wrap, salad (basically a noodle bowl with greens instead of noodles), or a vietnamese sandwich. So pick the format! a spring roll, noodle bowl, or salad. Then you pick your protein - I realized from looking at my menu picture now that the beef and shrimp will cost an extra $4 per bowl each. Each protein is cooked full of flavor. Then remember that you choose 4 veggies, and then toppings - they are 2 different things. I kept asking for "the everything" as it says on the menu and the server kept trying to tell me I had to pick 4 veggies... lol. They have a huge plastic (or glass?) separator between you and the server so it's hard to hear them unless they speak up. Sauces: The Nouc Cham is like a vinaigrette that usually goes with the vermicelli salad dishes at normal vietnamese places, and the peanut sauce is what you usually get with spring rolls. Avo Queen is a bit different, but creamy and delicious and Guava Vin was too sweet for my taste, but an awesome salad dressing for those who like it a bit more sweet. The black tea with guava flavor and tapioca pearls were quite delicious. I usually don't like the flavored teas - I really prefer the milk tea with pearls instead. The food is so great and fresh (a bit pricey), but the reason I removed 2 stars is the pace of service. The workers are super friendly but it took so long to order and get food. I ate at the restaurant and saw several people leave due to long wait and even people who were picking up orders were waiting. I'd return but during low-rush times. I really want this place to make it because I love the food! Hopefully they can get more staff or figure out a more efficient system. I was really impressed with our experience at Rollup, especially with it being a new business! We ordered online for pickup and the online system was really easy and our order was ready in 20 minutes. I got the Big Momma Roll with chicken, which was delicious and the perfect size. It was nice to get takeout but still feel like it was healthy! We will 100% be back, though I just have a couple suggestions based on our experience! Online, there was an option for extra sauce, but we couldn't figure out how to bypass it, so we all paid 60 cents for an extra sauce. Which is fine, but they only fill up the sauce containers halfway, so really it was two half sauces, and I think one full sauce container would've easily done the trick. We also did carryout, which was quick and smooth. You do have to wait in line at the counter to pick up your food, but my fiance suggested a pick up shelf might be helpful to keep the line moving more quickly. What a great addition to the area! I love seeing all of these new Asian restaurants popping up. We came on opening day and needless to say, this place will be a place I will be frequenting when I'm too lazy to do my own spring rolls at home. The setup of this place is similar to a chipotle or any of those fast casual build-your-owns. Their menu consists of springs rolls (3 or one burrito-sized), noodle bowl, or salad. You pick a protein, veggies (cucumbers, herbs, etc), toppings (fried shallots, peppers, etc), and then dipping sauce. They offer so many different options for each category that you'll surely find a combination that suits your palate. I did 3-spring rolls with choice of nem (made with chicken) and steak. I loaded up on veggies and picked nuoc cham (fish sauce), Vietnamese chimichurri, and avocado queen for my sauces. The Vietnamese chimichurri sauce with my steak spring roll was top notch and I'd definitely recommend that combo for anyone wanting to try something more elevated than your typical fish sauce. I really enjoyed this place. For a food that is simple to some, it really hit the spot for someone who wants a bit more than a shrimp and pork belly spring roll. Everyone was so nice and assisted in our choices as we were completely intrigued and first timers with the choices. We both did the three spring rolls so we could try the variety. Yesterday, we tried Rollup in Bayview! We had the spring rolls with beef and a noodle bowl with shrimp. We also sampled a lemonade with strawberry sauce and strawberry popping spheres. They also gave us a free mochinut to split while we were waiting for our food! We chose the Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor! The vegetables on everything were crisp and fresh! I really liked their "everything" seasoning and would def recommend getting that! The best part was the sauces! The peanut sauce was very flavorful without being too peanut heavy. I was able to add in lots of ingredients and toppings and it was all placed well and rolled up nicely so I could get a good look of everything I added. They have the perfect ratio for filling, and even though I added lots of ingredients, they didn't skimp on the meat! My rice paper kind of tore halfway through eating, but I did stuff mine... thankfully they had forks for me to eat any pieces that fell out. Pookie got the Spring Roll X3 w/ Nem Viet Sausage and Nước Chấm sauce. While she did not try and stuff hers as much as mine, I really enjoyed hers and all the flavors I was feeling. The nem was very good and I would love to get it next time... but I am thinking the same for all their other delicious sounding proteins! I think it is very important to note that they use small pellet ice that I've never seen used with boba, but now I have a new standard and will be thinking of them every time I am disappointed to be served non-pellet ice at other boba spots. I really liked the different roll and entree options that they have available. They have a wide range of protein, toppings, and sauces, so I'm sure you can make it as traditional or as fusion as you'd like; something for everyone! Aside from everything being very good and tasty, the staff was very friendly and the service was great and very clean, wiping down the counter each time to keep it looking spiffy. I am definitely looking forward to coming back! My small comment is that it was kind of hard to hear the worker through the glass, maybe the music or other equipment making noise, but still a little difficult. Just tried RollUp for the first time today. I ordered the steak big mama roll. It was delicious, steak was well seasoned and tender. Veggies were fresh and crisp! I got the chimichurri and peanut sauces which were both amazing. Would be a 5 star review other than the price. They charge more for steak and more for additional veggies which I didn't see on their menu in store. It was over $17 for my roll which is more than I would want to pay for a quick lunch. Put in an online order early in the day to have ready when I finished all my errands. Came in the store and awaited at the pick up delivery area. Many workers saw me and did not acknowledge me standing there waiting. Multiple people started coming into the store and getting in line to get food, customers were helped, had their food made for them, paid, and left before they asked what I was there for. This whole time I'm waiting. I'm staring at my receipt hanging there behind the counter. When they finally "saw" me, like i hadnt been standing there the whole time, I point to my receipt and said I made my order online five hours ago and I'm ready to pick it up. I'm glad this place is here, it's a great addition to the area. I love spring rolls and these were pretty good. Large size and three of them is just enough to satisfy an appetite. I'm especially pleased I could make mine vegan, and they have two sauces out of seven that are vegan. There's enough ingredient choices to make a healthy roll, but being vegan I wish there were more veggie options like bean sprouts, avocado, mushrooms, cabbage, stuff like that. The place was beautiful and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Being my first time there, I wasn't completely savvy about how the ordering process worked, so when it came time to choose a topping, I thought the staff person would ask me which topping I'd want, like how they asked me for all the other options. They didn't ask, and the next thing I knew my rolls were wrapped up and handed to me, no topping. Ok, I guess I should have asked for the topping at the right time, only I didn't know when that was. I know now. You only get two very small containers of sauce for three large spring rolls, which was nowhere near enough. I had to take one and a half rolls home and use my own sauce. There are no spoons at the utensil area, so you have to use a knife to scoop out the sauce to get it on your roll, which is hard to do with a knife. The chimichurri sauce was thin enough I could pour it onto my roll, but some of the other sauces are too thick to do that. Also, the water cups at the water station are about the size of a thimble, my partner said. That was pretty funny. And there's quite a lot of plastic that comes with your order, and no recycling bin to place them into when you're finished with your meal. The price was a little too steep for what you get for a vegan roll, so I most likely will not return, but I'm still glad this place is here and I hope others enjoy it and it stays around for a very long time. read more

Just came in for 3 rolls. A MUST GO!! I'm Vietnamese, so I had high expectations. This place knocked it out of the park. A fresh twist on something I've grown up eating. Nem nuong is a must get with the egg wrapper. Also the interiors?? What?? It's so cute inside with Mochinut next door in all pink.
