    Shrimp bowl

Love the ambience. The sample platter has great choices. You get a lot of food. The shrimp bowl was also great. I can't wait to go back to try more. Our server was handling 6 tables by herself but service was still attentive. I highly recommend coming here. I haven't had the pho in years so I definitely want to go back for that.

We came in on a Thursday night and we got to seat ourselves. The menu had a great variety of different foods to try, and we ended up ordering the veggie pho, the sizzling crepe, spring rolls, and the crab rangoons. The spring rolls were fresh with crunchy cucumber and firm tofu. The crab rangoons were so creamy and the wrapper had a great crunchy texture. I couldn't finish my pho fast enough, the broth was so rich and the noodles were perfect. The crepe was not what we expected, but the ingredients were high quality and it was good to try something new. The imported Vietnamese motorbike on display is so cool.

So, wow. Some of the best food we've had in Milwaukee. Their fish fry was crispy, turmeric was a nice ingredients to add, the play on tartar sauce was enjoyable. The veggie pho was tasty. Service was fast and friendly and the place was casual and comfortable. We will return.

After so many times of driving by this restaurant, I decided to try it out with my niece who has been here several times before. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by a lady who was smiling and was very, very pleasant to seat us. We decided to start with an appetizer of a shrimp summer roll, which had so many fresh vegetables, with a delicious peanut dipping sauce. I loved it so much. I actually bought a large container to go on the sauce. Moving onto my entrée I decided to go with beef and shrimp bowl with noodles. Absolutely delicious. The noodles tasted so fresh. The shrimp along with the steak they were grilled to perfection! They also had a carrot and I believe pickled daikon. It was absolutely crunchy and so flavorful. Our waitress was very nice as well. The atmosphere was very beautiful inside. I will definitely return.

This place has been on my list to try for months (more like years), and I finally was in the neighborhood to try this place out. We didn't order anything special, just pho and a Vietnamese iced coffee. You have your standard Vietnamese food offerings and various specials. However, your choices under each category are limited (compared to other Vietnamese restaurants), but this is not necessarily a bad thing if you can make delicious food. And I, for one, was pleasantly surprised at how clean and savory the pho broth was (decent amount of meat too!) The first thing that always comes to mind when I taste any bowl of pho is, "is it sweet or no?" I grew up in a household that leaned more savory than sweet for our broths, and the pho here tasted most similar to home for me (my moms). I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl but wish I had more herbs and veggies! I'll be back to try other Vietnamese goodies, but definitely check this place out next time for their pho! Pho here is surprisingly,

Went for a lunch on a weekday. Got spring rolls, beef banh mi and a beef and meatball pho. Everything was fresh and really good. I liked the addition of chips with the banh mi, which was much larger than normal sized banh mis. A great spot for lunch!

I really enjoy Hue - every time I have it. I discovered it during the pandemic in Tosa and thank god - they had carry out. I turned my whole family on to it and friends. I was super sad when they left Tosa, but still ordered delivery often. I'm in love with their lemongrass faux meat. Combine that with a bahn mi and I'm ecstatic. They make the most interesting and complex tasting vegetarian bahn mi in town. There's no sense eating one anywhere else in town if you don't eat meat. Visited the restaurant in Bay View for the first time recently. It's a cute space, but small. Service was friendly. If the prices were a little friendlier, I'd eat there often.

There's one item to get at this place: the Friday Asian fish fry 5/5- garlic fried rice, Asian cabbage slaw with perfectly lightly fried white fish. The fish was probably one of the best I have had before for a fish fry and wish they offered more than one big piece. It's 17$ and is a must try for Hue. As for the other menu items, the stir fry noodle dish was something I could make at home and wasn't special but I'm glad the noodles or veggies were not over cooked either. The tofu spring rolls were just not good. Maybe it was a bad day but the wrapping was dry the ingredients were dry and did not seem fresh at all. I can't recommend trying this again. So just get one thing and skip everything else: the fish fry and call it a day!

Everything was excellent at Hue! I ordered the beef and meatball pho--packed with flavor, loaded with an abundance of great-tasting noodles, and the broth tasted incredibly fresh. My wife had the Mi Xao (stir-fried noodles with shrimp), and it was equally satisfying. We also shared the Hue sample platter, which offered a great variety and was perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming--just right for a casual, tasty meal. All the dishes tasted fresh and well-prepared. My only minor complaint was the sticky laminated menus; they could definitely use a good wipe-down. Maybe even consider switching to QR code menus for a cleaner, more modern touch. Still, the food and vibe were so good that we'll definitely be back! Want to include a star rating or tag any standout staff service?

Best Pho in Milwaukee when it comes to price and portion! Great deal on Tuesday where they have 2 standard phos for $25. You can't find a better deal than that! Also love the pork egg rolls and fresh summer rolls!

The food is great I like pho and also spring rolls and the lemon grass skewers are delicious The service is awesome and everyone is very nice and poor The ambience is really cool. There is art hung up everywhere which gives off a really cool vibe and they dim the lights every now and then pretty cool.

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Milwaukee. The egg rolls are amazing! My go to here is the beef pho.

If you are celiac or gluten-free, I don't recommend ever eating here. While they have a dedicated gluten-free menu with options for changing things out, on two separate occasions (of the 4 times I've been there) they've made a mistake. It puts you in a challenging and uncomfortable situation when you are curious about something actually being gluten-free. I know for myself, you don't want to insinuate that you don't trust your server! My most recent visit there I had the shittake/vegetable Ramen with rice noodles. I explained that I can't have soy sauce because it contains wheat. I explained that if they have tamari that they could check if it is wheat free because I often can have tamari instead of soy sauce. I explained that I can't have anything that contains wheat. My server informed me that she would make sure that this was gluten-free, that the rice noodles would be replacing the Ramen noodles. While eating I was curious if the noodles were not gluten-free, and I was informed that they do seem to be rice noodles. We were also sure to order the tofu as steamed rather than fried so that it would not have cross-contamination. (Due to first glutened experience) Later that night and the following day I can report that what I ate was not in fact, rice noodles or gluten free, and I have been glutened. On a previous occasion, I ordered the fresh spring rolls with a sauce that I was informed was gluten-free with tofu. While already eating this, the server came over and informed me that the tofu was not gluten-free, and had been fried. I think that there may be some lack of understanding what gluten-free means and how it impacts people generally in most of the food service industry. I believe they did their best to try to accommodate. That being said if you are celiac or gluten intolerant, please steer clear! Very unfortunate because it was tasty. I understand that as someone who needs to eat gluten-free that I am taking a risk by eating at a restaurant that is not gluten-free forward. Although they have a dedicated allergy menu, two out of the four times I've eaten there it hasn't made a difference. Great restaurant, not great for celiac.

I got the grilled pork banh mi with a cup of broth (~1/2 quart, $5) with a Vietnamese iced coffee. Sandwich was good, but it wasn't very big for $10. The meat, which was good I was expecting to be pieces of grilled meat, was very sparse and very thin, like bulgogi. The broth was pretty sweet instead of savory and likely already pre-seasoned with hoisin. In terms of service, I had placed my order first. Sandwich with the coffee. My partner said he'll have the same thing. I confirmed to make sure that was also including the ice coffee, and the person that took our order said yes. We waited for a while for our order (highly recommend ordering online, we just saw different prices on their website vs online ordering service, so we thought we'd just wait to order in person), then she forgot our iced coffees. We waited some more. She only brought out one. She said oh sorry, I only rang you up for one. So we waited some more. At that point I thought she would just let us have the coffee on the house, but she did indeed ring us up. We were probably in and out with our to-go order in about 40 minutes. All in all, I'd go back for the iced coffees if I was in the area because they were good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
