Wow, what a pleasant surprise. I was completely unaware of restaurant. I've never been to Korea so…read moreI do not know how it compares to the real thing but what I will tell you is that this was some pretty good BBQ. Very unique in that you get to cook your own main course. Chicken, beef, pork, veggies and/or seafood. The appetizers were excellent, fresh, crisp and tasty. Try the chicken wings, they put BW3's to shame. Fresh cut of rib eye, short ribs, brisket, pork belly cooked to perfection (by me) and you just can't any fresher. Excellent all the way around and if you'd like more, just ask and they'll bring you more. Fresh shrimps and scallops, calamari, you name it, you can cook it. This is such a unique place and the service was quite good. Thank you Nick for being our server, you done good. All in all this was a very experience and to be honest for what you get, a good value at $40 a person. We will tell our friends and we can't wait to bring them here.

Well that was interesting! Lots of great flavor here…read more We went on a Saturday night as a group of six. Booked in a reservation which was a good call because it was packed. Our server was sweet and super knowledgeable, especially given it was her second day. It was a bit chaotic though, in terms of the ordering process and how much things continue to be dropped at the table. Luckily my fam took the reins on ordering and I honestly loved pretty much everything. For $40 it's all you can eat, which certainly seems worth it. You definitely have to be up for grilling your own food because it's a very interactive experience! Such a variety of meats available. Loved all of the sauces and yummy sides too. Only pass for me was mochi dessert but I feel like that's an acquired taste (or should I say texture). Oh and for drinks, worth noting they don't have a full bar so in addition to soft drinks, they have beer, wine, and sake available. We tried the sake and it was actually pretty good! If you're after solid Korean bbq this spot is worth the visit.

Plenty of space for parking in the back. Dark, smoky atmosphere with Asian interior designs. Perfect ambiance for BBQ! We had both Korean BBQ & hot pot, absolutely worth the price for both. The BBQ was by far everyone's favorite. We recommend the beef bulgogi, beef short ribs, and pork belly--these were the best for BBQ. Since it was all you can eat, we had a few servings of them. There was also a counter for different types of sauce one could get and a dessert section. The hot pot was great as well. We recommend the bone broth and the fish/shrimp/meatballs with it as well as udon noodles. The service was great overall. Our server was busy, but she managed to be attentive with us. We left with our belly full. We will absolutely come back.

I have ordered squid, but the dish ended up feeling more like a hotpot squid and no flavor, It was also a different kind of squid than I expected. We also order the brown rice cake, but had an dirty oily taste, like it may have been cooked in the same oil as fries, bubble tea inside is jello, I prefer boba. I hope the restaurant can improve this. The price is reasonable. I enjoyed the pork belly and the fries were good. Overall, it was okay, nothing too bad, but nothing amazing either.

It came piping hot in a stone bowl so very glad it comes with a side of rice. It also has clear rice noodles. Portion size was good but the short rib wasn't very flavorful. I have not been here before so we decided to try it out and see if it was worth it. I ordered the beef kulguksu and my wife ordered the bibimbap. I have kulguksu before but only when my mom would make it back in Korea. It took about 20 mins until the food was ready but when it was brought to us I could smell the flavor of the broth. It was extremely hot, so I had to wait a bit until I could eat it. My wife's bibimbap was also piping hot but hearing the rice crackle always brings back fond memories of my motherland. I was a little shocked that they did not provide banchan though. Banchan is the side dishes that are usually provided with each meal at Korean restaurants or houses for home cooked meals. I didn't ask why because it was pretty busy and I knew I would be full after all the soup. After my kulguksu cooled down a bit I was able to taste the savory beef broth. If you have never had this before, the noodles are usually hand rolled and have a more chewy texture. They are not sweet potato or ramen noodles, so they are able to absorb more of the flavor of the broth. There was beef, cabbage and onion all cooked in the broth that just was a happy medley of deliciousness. I am not going to talk much about the bibimbap because while my wife said it was really good, it was pretty much the norm for bibimbap. I will say however that the kulguksu was as good as my mom's, if not better. So, I will definitely be back for that--I just wish they offered banchan too.

We…read morewere staying in Milwaukee for the weekend so reserved a table here, but we were the first guests there as they opened at 4:30pm. Our server was attentive, checking in on us, making sure waters were full. The food came out very quickly - perhaps because we were the first there, but as we ate the restaurant filled up quickly. We ordered a plum soju to share, scallion pancakes with seafood, and entrees of Beef Galbi and Rice Cake Dumpling Soup. A small dish of spicy cucumber kimchi was served first which was free. The scallion pancakes was large and we chose to have seafood (vs kimchi) and we were so pleasantly impressed by the amount of seafood especially octopus which is my favorite in the pancake. The Beef Galbi came on a sizzling hot dish, and without the bone but in bite sized pieces with grilled veggies and a side of rice. It was just to my liking and just as delicious as other Galbi dishes I have had before. My husband enjoyed the soup which was very large and also included a side of purple rice. We have enjoyed many Korean food restaurants and this is a fancier restaurant that still served good tasting Korean food from what we ordered. Total for two people with drinks, appetizer and two entrees came out to the $90s including tax but not tip. I was pleasantly surprised by the dinner despite noted prior reviews, so if we're ever in the area again we will likely be back!

The minute we walked in, a man sitting next to the hostess--who appeared to be part of the restaurant, not a customer--just stared at us. No greeting, no smile... just staring. The hostess also seemed a bit confused when we walked in. She asked if we had reservations; we said no. Then she asked if a high-top table was fine, as if the restaurant were packed. We agreed, assuming there would be a long wait for a regular table. But as she led us over, there were plenty of regular tables available. So right off the bat, the vibe wasn't particularly welcoming. As for the service, the waitress did a great job with the welcome and checked on us at a perfect pace. We also liked the decor--plenty of cute design elements that would make for great photos and draw people in. The menu was well done too: not overwhelming, just the right amount of variety in each category. Honestly, this part is why I gave the place more stars than I probably should have. As for the food, it was just okay for us--though that may have been due to what we ordered. There were only two of us, and we got three dishes: shrimp fried rice, beef chow fun, and kung pao chicken. We thought that would give us a good variety. The food had good flavor, but all three dishes tasted very similar. If you try these same dishes elsewhere, the flavors are usually more distinct. I do wish we had tried more of the appetizers and drinks--maybe that would have changed our rating a bit.
