YUM YUM YUM! one of my favorite spots in Milwaukee for brunch. The menu offers some unique flavors and combinations, plus serving up amazing craft cocktails. The service is always amazing and you feel highly attended to. I recently got the chili crisp fish sandwich and it was so good! The restaurant itself is a little smaller but has super great vibes.

STOP! You found it. This is hands down the best brunch spot in town--and that's coming from someone who travels constantly. Food: Chick on Fire -- Have you ever taken a bite of something and couldn't even describe the flavor because it was just that good? That's what I'm always chasing when I try a new restaurant, and I finally found it. This sandwich is an explosion of flavor. The combination of lemongrass, slaw, and whatever magic they put into it creates one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. And don't worry, Wisconsin... it's not spicy. After tasting this, I'd order anything they put on their specials menu without hesitation. I even had to grab a photo with the chefs in the background. Well done, team! Service: Rin and her team were absolutely wonderful. I was in town for a funeral, and everyone showed genuine kindness and compassion. They offered their condolences, made great conversation, and somehow turned a difficult day into a much brighter one. Hospitality like that is rare. Ambiance: Exactly what a brunch spot should be--clean, cozy, welcoming, and full of character. I especially loved the EL bar. It's the kind of place you immediately feel comfortable in. This has officially earned a permanent spot on my list. Whether you're local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won't regret it.

Oh my word, what a cute restaurant! The decor was mid century modern and it was a small location, but we had no problem walking in and getting a table at 9am on a Friday during Summerfest. The biscuits and gravy were so amazing. Not necessarily traditional with the spices used, but I would definitely order again. I at every last bite. My husband had the B.E.L.T.C.H. sandwich. It was an interesting take on a BLT and was SO GOOD. Came with roasted potatoes. My son ordered the pancakes and also enjoyed them. He asked for chocolate chips to be added and then blueberries on the side. They were big and fluffy. I would definitely go back here next time we are in Milwaukee!

Absolutely love their breakfast!! The miso brown butter pancakes are to die for. The spring omelette was also delicious! It's so cute inside and our server was very nice too.

Elevated breakfast, fresh, creative & flavorful dining experience. Very attentive, friendly & knowledgeable staff. Super chill atmosphere with views of downtown Milwaukee.

This was a perfect spot for breakfast in downtown Milwaukee! When we arrived, we were a little surprised that the wait would be 45-60 minutes, for the two of us - especially since only six people were in the waiting area. We waited about 25 minutes and then were sat at the empty spot by the window - which was empty when we walked in. We ordered the jalapeño infused Bloody Mary - which were delicious, with a cute little beer chaser. There were so many yummy options, making the decision difficult - what to have for breakfast? My husband had the sausage breakfast biscuit special of the day, which was delicious and I ordered the Big Wolf Breakfast with avocado. The flavors are perfect, the food is perfectly cooked! The tavern potatoes are out of this world! Do not miss these! We will be back - so glad we finally made it here!

Been here a couple of times, and it has always been excellent. Came here with another person for breakfast. It always seems to be busy, but you would expect that from a restaurant that has been recognized at the national level. Food: The food menu at Wolfe's is eclectic. There are so many interesting dishes to choose from. They do an incredible job of taking a traditional dish and elevating it to the next level. An example is the Spamolette (Spam omelette). It's sophisticated and delicious. This time I ordered the Big McAllister Smashburger. Like everything else, it was flavorful, the right temperature, and enormous. The two smash patties were cooked to create those wonderful lace edges that are super tasty. The rest of the ingredients were well balanced. It was juicy, but not overly sloppy. The fries were well cooked with great flavor. My friend got a side of French toast, which was also delicious. The thick slices of bread had a generous coating of batter and were fried to a nice, firm texture. A nice crust, with a tender center. For drinks, we got the Ube Chai and a mocha latte. Both were made with care, with excellent foam and some latte art. The temperature of the latte was a near-perfect 130°F. Service: They were busy when we arrived, and the host (Wolfgang, the owner) took our name and estimated a 15-minute wait. We checked out the adjacent boutique, where there are also some tables to wait for your table in the restaurant. Our table was ready in 10 minutes. The servers are always peppy and helpful. Efficient service without feeling rushed. Our drinks and food came out after just a short while. The server team made sure all the food was good and kept our water glasses filled. Atmosphere: The place is small, and they have a few seating options, either at a table or at a counter/bar. Not a fan of bar seating, but it works for the right group or for singles. With a full crowd, it can get a little noisy. The tables are small enough that you can lean in to hear. The place has a nice, chill vibe to it. It's an excellent place for breakfast or lunch. Definitely a place that I will continue to return to.

From the chorizo fundito burrito to the BELTCH sandwich to the Baja breakfast hash, the food had generous proportions of ingredients - no skimping here! The chorizo fundito burrito was well balanced between the egg, chorizo and salsa. The queso to dip on the side was a nice touch! The Baja breakfast hash had perfectly cooked "sunny eggs" and was perfectly salted. The BELTCH had a generous amount of bacon and egg which is often hard to find. The only downfall was that the entrance door connected directly to the outside (no vestibule). So, when patrons entered and exited, a gust of 10 degree frigid air would rush through the dining area every 2 minutes or so. Our party ate with our coats on since it was cold inside. Additionally, the wait was around 40 minutes on a Saturday at 930, which is expected for a popular restaurant.

The menu here is so varied and there isn't much of a vegetarian option. The food is good just such a long wait to get seated. It's always a nice time but the wait time kills it for me. Good spot I just feel like they need to work on either expanding or adding reservations if the wait time will be long.

I completely understand the hype about this brunch spot in Downtown Milwaukee! We visited on a weekend morning, where we had to wait about 45 minutes for a seat, but it was very much worth it. The decor and overall vibe of this restaurant is very light and welcoming, and the food is the cherry on top. We started off with some blueberry corn donuts as an appetizer, which was super tasty. My only complaint is that there weren't more donuts on the plate, but it succeeded at holding us over until our entrees were served. My partner ordered the chili crisp fish sandwich, while I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The fish sandwich was incredibly flavorful, with many different toppings that all somehow complimented each other, though at times you could hardly taste the fish! The biscuits and gravy were also delicious and had a very unique curry gravy. The egg which came on top added to the savory-ness of the dish. If I'm ever back in this city, this would be first on my list of stops back!

This location was so nice for a slow morning brunch. I ordered the avocado toast and it was the prettiest plate of food I've had in a while. The drink menu was amazing with plenty of fun options. I thought the prices were fair for brunch and it wasn't too busy. The location is fairly small and on a cold day seating close to the front is a bit chilly.

Spicy Bloody Mary & Sweet Cream Cold Brew with Irish cream
    Carla R.

Uncle Wolfie's has an aesthetic look and is a cutesy place for sure. The servers worked as a team and did a great job. The spicy bloody was sooo spicy, making me sweat immediately and I couldn't really taste the flavor. The cold brew I got was watery I couldn't taste the coffee. I did ask for more cold brew to add on top and they were very kind and brought me a whole other black cold brew. The plain cold brew looked see through, was still watery and maybe wasn't made right, unfortunately. My plate I got was delicious, I recommend the Baja Breakfast Hash with chorizo! It was flavorful and the perfect amount for breakfast not too filling. The chicken katsu was missing the flavor overall but the crispy chicken was good. It was our first time coming here, we've heard great things and what we got didn't meet our expectations but maybe we will try other menu items next time!

Cute little spot downtown. It's smallish inside, though stylish with nice vibes. I wouldn't necessarily come here with a big group, but perhaps a date night or a small group of 4. I had a nice experience with everyone I interacted with, from beginning to end. Saw lots of smiles. Always a plus. They have an interesting, one of a kind menu. It's not just basic fares, but everything has a little twist or fusion vibes. We're talking Mexican to Vietnamese in fine dining. That said, the menu called the dishes "Shareables", and I expected them to be larger sizes to share, but it's actually the opposite. They are more like Spanish tapas - small appetizer sized dishes, that I don't want to share cuz they're good lol. Usually when i think of tapas, i think of a plate with items that can be shared easily, with everyone just grabbing a piece by hand, or a quick spoon. These shareables were like Italian family sharing kind of food (salad, steak, etc.) but in super small portions. Among the four of us, we each got maybe a bite or two of each dish. So really, it was more like we were "tasting" than "eating." Cheviche Fresh! Yum! Tofu something Delicious. We had a vegetarian in the group, so I felt bad eating more than a bite, but definitely would have othewise. Watermen salad This was ok. Definitely fresh and good taste, but the watermelon itself was not super sweet and didn't really add to the salad. Flank steak I would have been happy with this dish on my own. It's an awkward dish to share, though the steak does come cut up, to make it easy to share, i assume. Pork tacos Yummy tacos. Lumpia Fried spring rolls, kinda like eggrolls. Good, but not break my keto kind of good. Again, all the food items are pretty solid, though the experience of sharing these "shareables" weren't my thing. Everything is quite pricey for the amount of food we got. My tastebuds were happy, but my stomach wasn't satisfied. May be better for a splurge date night, with me eating more than my share.

We had reservations at 6:00 on a Saturday night. (It was cold, a little drizzly, and windy out.) The front entrance has several steep steps, and when you walk through, you are literally at the host station. They were going to seat us right behind the host station, but we knew it was going to be a problem as people went in and out. We asked to be seated a little farther from the door, and after a bit of discussion (it sounded like this was going to be a little issue), they were able to find a table for two in the parlor. So glad! Got settled in right away with menus and waters. Our server did a good job of getting us up to speed on the menu, the service, and the cocktails. They did a very good job throughout the evening (thanks, Roberto). We settled on the Window Seat (Beef Tallow and Rosemary Washed Vodka, crazy but true) and the Night Clubbing (with espresso-infused Campari). Both were very good choices. We decided that we wanted to start with three dishes and then regroup if we needed more. These included the Bok Choy Salad, Cumin and Cinnamon Braised Pork Shoulder, and Venison Tartare (Dijon Ice Cream?). The Bok Choy Salad was a real surprise, with the entire collection being so bright and flavorful. The dates had a meaty quality. The dressing with Nuoc Cham was savory with just a bit of heat. We both decided that we could have made an entire meal of that. The Pork Shoulder came next and was a good portion, with the meat tender and flavorful. The Quinoa Polenta was interesting, but I can't say that it was something I would seek out. I have had Beef Tartare before, but this was a first for Venison Tartare, so of course I just had to order it. What struck me first was that the entire thing (not just the Dijon Ice Cream) was very cold, almost frozen. I tried a couple of bites, and it was so cold that unless you let it sit in your mouth to thaw out, it was somewhat tasteless. I spread it around the plate to thaw out, and it was a big improvement. It's a good-sized portion, and even after loading up on the three pieces of bread, there was still plenty left (maybe a couple more pieces of bread?). There were a couple of desserts that we would have loved to try, but we were full and had a performance to attend. So we will have to wait until next time. Really enjoyed our first dinner. Loved the inventiveness of the menu. The staff all seem to really care about the business and the diners. With the placement of the front door and the draftiness of the dining room, we will likely book our next dinner when the weather turns warmer.

I also tried a mocktail version of La Pucelle, it wasn't explicitly listed in the mocktails section so you can order a mocktail version of some the alcoholic cocktails. For dessert I tried the Panna Cotta, it was my first time ever trying it and tho go get it was really good.
