Stopped in for a quick bite after an event in the area and had a great experience. We were served quickly, food came out piping hot, bartender was attentive and refilled my water without me having to ask. It was pretty quiet while we were there and they had the baseball game on, so very relaxed vibe. Had the Bibiana burger with fries - juicy, flavorful, and perfectly proportioned with two 3-ounce patties, melty American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and "Saint Sauce" on a sesame seed bun - top 3 burger in MKE for me.

I went to Saint Bibiana because I saw reviews of their Bloody Mary being good (I am a self proclaimed Bloody Mary Queen). I was a little worried because it is on the bustling Brady Street, but when you step in you seem more secluded from the usual Brady street feel (unless you go st night when it turns into a club). I have heard they have one of the best burgers in Milwaukee, so I will be back to try that soon.

After my visit with my friends to Slow Buffalo recently, me and one of my friends were hoping St. Bibiana's burgers will make up for the smash burgers we were expecting but didn't get at the other establishment. I made it there before they did so I sat at the bar and I went ahead and ordered a beer and shot and they finally arrived 10 minutes later to which we moved to one of the tables. After they placed their drink order we were ready to order. Because you get two 3 oz patties, me and my friend went with ordering an extra patty so that way to ensure we're getting about 1/2 lb of meat and my other friend went with chicken strips and fries with an order of cheese curds as an app. They were pretty good for bread curds! Nice and crispy on the outside with a nice and gooey center as any good curd should be with a touch of saltiness of the sprinkled parm on top that also came with a side of marinara. We were just about done with our curds before I food came out. Talk about a piping hot trio of beefy goodness! There was only ketchup at the table, normally I would ask for mustard but I was starving and was fine with just rocking with the one condiment. I just went with pickles as I always do on the side and my friend with the Bibiana burger with veggies on it. God bless America, that was a good damn burger! The cheese so ooey gooey, pickles there nice and crisp and this may have been the first time I may have almost ate all of my fries with my burger. My friend was in absolute heaven and we both agreed that going with the extra patty was the way to go! Not too mention to the bun was nice and toasty and I love anyone who offers sesame buns. My other friend with the strips on the other hand, she liked them but you can tell they were not breaded in house. Overall, we were happy campers with our burgers and without doubt I would be back not for just that tasty ass burger again, but for the happy hour because those are good looking prices lol.

Had this place on my burger tour list for a while, finally made it on a Friday afternoon. Wasn't very busy. Service was great, combo of a hunting show, music videos, sports on the screens. Got the cheese curds and they were phenomenal, cooked to a crisp and melty inside and the portion was huge. Couldn't finish them between the two of us. Had the Bibiana burger and it was excellent. Two patties, melted cheese, carmelized onions and the Bibiana sauce which added the perfect bit of extra flavor, all on a soft sesame seed bun. If I had to compare it to another burger, similar to five guys in regards to size, ratios etc, but really liked the sauce and it was all cooked perfectly. Fries also very good and tasted like the ranch was house made as well. Didn't explore the rest of the menu and not sure I would given how good the burger was, would probably just get that every single time.

To preface I did not want to try this place after hearing about my parents previous experience. However, I gave it a chance and regret it. My parents went to Saint Bibiana to try their burgers. My mom asked for lettuce and tomatoes on her burger. When she received her burger, it didn't have lettuce, so she asked again for lettuce. Their waitress brought the lettuce over in her bare hands, no napkin, no plate, just in her hands. It's gross, to say the least. After that experience, we gave it one more chance. When our waiter brought our food, he only brought mine and my dad's first, then my mom's. I had my phone up and was clearly trying to take a picture of my food until the waiter came over, grabbed my food, gave it to my mom, and then gave me mine. I understand the mistake of giving me my mom's food, but taking the food when I was in the middle of taking a picture was rude. The overall experience was terrible and I do not recommend going. The food was very underwhelming and we did not finish our food. The burgers are excessively greasy. For the ambience it's your typical bar despite the decor. However, there are way better options in Milwaukee and even in the Brady area.

I kept seeing the burgers were a must try so decided to come check it out myself! The food overall was pretty good! We both got the smash burgers which were HUGE btw! It came with fries as well! We also got a drink each and the bill ended up being around $38ish. The food was made fast and fresh- you can see the chef making it along the side since it's an open layout.

Ordered burger for takeout. Was ready in less than 20. Good portion of fries, both were warm. Came with a pickle and the burger bun and size was decent. Two 1/3 patties and the sauce tastes just like Big Mac sauce. So pretty much a fancy Big Mac imo. Was $16.

Went here on a Monday at noonish 3/24/25 to try the fabulous looking cheeseburger and the place was completely empty. The guy behind the bar took my food and drink order as I moved to a side table. Some dude walks in and all his attention is on him with what sounds like drama after my food order was placed. My food hit my table and I never saw him again. After I was done eating I wanted a container for my leftovers but it was clear after I pushed my basket to the edge of the table for approximately 10 minutes that he's more interested in the conversation with the other dude's conversation. So I walk up to the bar to ask for a container and the check and I'm still being ignored. When he finally acknowledges my request he ignores me again to focus on probably the beer distributor guys because he is now going through a plastic crate of tapper handles and putting me on hold again while I'm standing at the bar trying to leave for the last 20 minutes. WTF I'm the only paying customer in the place and my service is super s#ity, that A#ole still got a $10 tip on a $24 lunch which I'm currently evaluating and adjusting my over tipping for poor service. Now that my poor service is out there let's talk about the food which was the double smash cheeseburger and frys. It was a pulp fiction that's a tasty cheeseburger moment and the best cheeseburger I have had in a minute, absolutely pure goodness in its raw form but you can season it up if you need. It's fresh beef with a grilled onions, cheese, pickles on a fresh bun. It's juicy fresh beef/cheese and grilled onions are fu%king delicious in its simplicity. The frys were not as fresh as the cheeseburger and were a restaurant warehouse quality but they were very good and seasoned style thin cut fresh cooked to order thin/crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Overall my service was poor but the food was excellent and a pretty spectacular cheeseburger and some may season it up but I completely enjoyed the ala natural of the bare naturalness of the simple fresh ingredients. It's a shame that my service was like ignore me by the Barney 5 looking guy because the cheeseburger is very good and he turned a 4 star into a 1 star review for a place that's not a 1 star place.

Friendly service, great food and excellent drinks. Modest alcohol selection. Music is playing but not too loud where you aren't able to hold conversations. Came in at 4pm Friday and only one other customer present. By 5pm it was already 60% full. Also, the bar stools are actually comfortable. The Bibiana burger was excellent. Well balanced between all elements, generous portion of super crispy fries.

Please read along about my journey to satisfy my most intense craving for a burger. IFYKYK, it was such a strong craving that my whole Friday night would've been ruined if I didn't get my hands on a quality burger. I braved 40° weather and the traffic from the Milwaukee Bucks game for this burger. FOOD: I ordered 2 things: 1) the cheese curds and 2) the infamous Bibiana burger. The cheese curds were top tier. I like that their cheese curds are accompanied by marinara sauce (I wish it came with more). The golden crust was achieved. There was a cheese pull with every bite. Bonus: their curds aren't oil saturated. However, it took maybe 30 minutes for the cheese curds to come out. The Bibiana burger took a total of 1hr to get to me from when I entered the bar. The burger was worth the wait. Very appropriate portions. You get a mountain of fries with your burger. I see the hype behind this burger. SERVICE: The service left some room for improvement. I acknowledge that it was quite crowded when I came in. I as a part of 1 had to sit at a table since all the bar seating was taken. I waited at my table 10 minutes before having to go up to the counter to ask the male bartender to send someone to take my order. On top of that, 2 people came after me and were helped before me. Shout out to the trio of drunk ladies that sent someone to take my order. They were fantastic! I will say the server redeemed herself and I got a tequila shot on the house. She was very sweet and apologetic. She came by at least 3 times to check on me after she realized she missed me. AMBIANCE: While the name of the place is Saint Bibiana, I was very lost on the decor. It's a bunch of topless female angels. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say. So this is your fair warning about it the decor of the bar.

In the past, I had only been for drinks. I heard the burgers were great here and had to try it out. Let me tell you... I was not disappointed. The burger was out of this world. The bun was soft, the cheese was melty, and the burger was the perfect thickness. Also, the fries were delicious, and I appreciate the garnish for a little color on the plate. The bloody mary was solid too. I would recommend getting it spicy. My mom and I sat by the window and our waiter was welcoming and attentive. The menu had some creative, cheeky names which was fun as well. Inside, they have some cute decor. Definitely worth a try for lunch!

    - delicious food, good service, cozy ambiance - no…read morereservation can be made for brunch - excited to come back for a sweet option Happy to get a seat at this tasty diner! With their rotating menu items and weekly specials, I am definitely coming back after having such a flavorful and fun meal. Waited about an hour on a busy Saturday since one of their locations was closed, but the food was well worth it! I had gotten Wolfie's Patty Melt and it was filling and a great start to our morning. The bread was nice and crisp from the buttered griddle and held everything together perfectly. Inside the crunchy sandwich were 2 seasoned patties and enough gooey cheese to make it rich, but not heavy. To contrast the fatty flavor, there was a slightly tart bacon jam and onions that were truly caramelized. Overall really tasty sandwich with no notes! In the description it says there is a sauce, but I could only taste the onions and jam, so I'm not too sure what it added. The side of fries was ok, but I think some crispy thinner ones would have been better with the sandwich. For my drink, I got a hot Ube Chai. The chai was strong and had a spicy kick to each sip. Already a subtle flavor, the ube was not very strong with the chai mixed in, but still added fun color. The design on top was also very cute and added another dink of sweetness. My girlfriend got the Spamelette for her main and it was pretty pretty and delish. Not too often that you see Spam, but when you see it, trust it earned its spot on a menu! The big chunks of Spam and accouterments gave each bite a pleasant feel and one full of flavor. I was skeptic of the mushrooms at first, but they were seasoned well and added another kind of texture to the meal. I think my favorite toppings were the drizzle of kewpie and the green onions... not sure if it counts as a topping, but the tamari glaze of the spam made it delish. Taste aside, it was also a pretty meal! Pook got a Hot Chocolate for her drink. Nice simple drink for the cold weather. We would have liked to see some more chocolatey flavor, but still a good milky drink for the meal. This drink also had a fun design and nice cream top, yum yum yum. This was such a tasty meal and they have lots of other options that I was debating on getting - I guess we gotta come back! It was a really cold day, but the cozy atmosphere and hot drinks with our food made it a great experience. We had originally planned on going to the Downtown location, but it was closed because of heating problems. I wish there was a bit more uniformity between their menus, especially since the Brewers Hill menu has different items and is smaller, so it feels like there is quite the difference between locations. Going off of that point, I am excited to try their dinner menu when it releases and see how it compares to when we ate Downtown! I am not sure how the places differ, but I felt the food here to be more flavorful than the other location. In addition to the dining area, they had a small shop and coffee area in the back while you waited for your table. It was fun and made time pass faster, but I feel as though that area is also perfect for dining. Maybe there are specific reasons why it isn't, but just a thought. Hope to come back soon!

Brunch It Up (possibly in the middle of rebranding to just "Brunch.") is a classic breakfast spot in downtown Milwaukee...we were there on a Sunday morning...high brunch time, and were seated quickly upstairs. The place had an overall run-down vibe to it...scuffed paint on the walls and a general feeling of not quite matching the quality of the upscale brunch spot implied by their modern logo. Menus...I normally don't comment on the menu itself but our table featured no less than 4 different menus...the regular menu, a drink menu, a specials menu and a mimosas menu...choices are wonderful, but the immediate reaction is this is a whole mess of menus on the table, and I don't know what to look at first. It felt haphazard. Let's move on to the coffee...Coffee is an essential part of the brunch experience. Even at a diner, you want it to be strong...the mug it came in was nice, but it was weak coffee. I need coffee to kick my butt, and if you're serving what's close to "browned water" at a breakfast place, you're missing the mark. How about the food? I can't fault them for the generosity of the portions, but will say individual dishes were way too much for my wife and I...we wish smaller portions were available, so so much didn't go to waste. My wife had the Egg and Waffle sandwich with waffle fries. It was fine. I had the Harvest Hash made with egg whites...the eggs were a little overcooked. (Egg whites require a thoughtful touch when cooking them so they are finished white and not browning all over.) There are plenty of fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, and peppers in there (I guess that's the extent of the harvest in Milwaukee) The hashbrowns it all sat on were undercooked. We were excited about the croissant beignets...Available were the regular ones with chocolate or strawberry dipping sauce, and a special with a fruit dipping sauce. They couldn't mix and match sauces, so we got the special. They were okay but a bit over-fried, losing the croissant texture altogether ...I mean, there's nothing wrong with deep-fried dough with sweet things to dip them in, but we do wish they hadn't fried the croissant out of them to give us the unique experience implied by the name. The menu has plenty to choose from...every breakfast savory or sweet thing you could imagine...and on the nicely designed, modern-looking menu at looks like it could be amazing...but everything we got, plus the experience of sitting in a place that felt a little rundown, left us overall disappointed.

Their website has a popup on the home page saying it comes with fried haddock, potato pancakes, applesauce, and rye bread, but the popup doesn't list the price and it isn't available through the online ordering function. I ended up calling in an order to go, substituting wheat bread for the rye, and also added a piece of lemon ginger coffee cake. The lemon ginger coffee cake tasted fine, but man was it dry. Like Sahara Desert dry. Maybe this was an anomaly and their other baked goods are better, but I'd be hesitant to try them based on this coffee cake. Even though the website says the side is potato pancakes with applesauce, my fish fry came with fries. They ended up being the best part of the meal, which I certainly wasn't expecting. Still, I was disappointed cause I prefer potato pancakes and was given their inclusion as an expectation. The wheat bread itself was ok, but the butter was oddly unsalted. The fish, of which there was three pieces, was battered with a hint of beer, but like the butter for the bread there was no salt to speak of in the batter. As much as I didn't enjoy the unsalted butter for the bread, not having salt in the batter for the fish managed to be more unpleasant. Maybe Blue's Egg should just stick with serving breakfast items instead of adding something temporary that they clearly aren't pros at.

Consistently busy over the years and for good reason. I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed with the service or the food. It's a dark, cozy little restaurant bar but with so much character and history. Service is friendly and efficient. I love that the food I've ordered here has always exceeded my expectations with the seasonings and quality of ingredients used. Reasonably priced too! If you don't have a reservation, you may end up waiting for a table in the back area at a high top but it's a great opportunity to enjoy one of their great drinks in the meantime!

We quite literally came here straight from the airport. To make matters worse, we had not eaten anything substantial all day and had actually looked this restaurant up weeks before our trip while researching places to eat the infamous Wisconsin fish fry, so we were really looking forward to the experience. The experience started off poorly when our party was essentially scolded by the hostess for sitting at a table that apparently needed to be cleaned for the wait list. To make matters worse, the busser laughed and joked that we were "in trouble," to which I could only respond, "Sounds like it." Not exactly the welcoming atmosphere you'd hope for as a first time visitor. The fish fry was decent our tab came out to $150 for 5 people, but the service was absolutely subpar and our tip reflected that. We also had to send back two drink glasses because they were dirty one still had lipstick on it, and another had food stuck to the inside of the glass. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience. Between the unprofessional treatment, lackluster service, and cleanliness issues, I would not recommend stopping here. There are plenty of other restaurants worth trying instead.
