It's a busy place so we had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning, but I was OK with it. The building itself is pretty good sized. They have a couple of different rooms with lots of tables and booths. They also have some tables outside to wait at, but I'm not sure if they have an actual outdoor patio to eat at. The service was great and everyone was friendly. They all definitely work well as a team. I started out with just a plain black coffee. They also have iced coffees and Frappuccino type coffees. I believe they have juices and can even make some cocktails like mimosas. They did offer me sugar and cream with my coffee, but I just like my coffee black so that's how I ordered it. For my entrée, I ordered the village omelette and added gyro. It comes with spinach, tomatoes, and feta so the gyro meat sounded delightful in it. It also came with a choice of side, and I opted for fresh fruit. And then finally, you can choose between pancakes or toast. I went with plain sourdough toast. Everything was great and super fresh. The omelette was filling and well-made. They have a gyro sandwich and based on that omelette, I would definitely get the sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful. And the feta gave the perfect little salty tang. I actually want to re-create the omelette that I had there here in Kansas City because it was so so good. The fruit was fresh and was mainly just honeydew and cantaloupe. And the toast was a perfect vehicle for some of the omelette to my mouth. Overall, I loved this brunch spot. If I lived in the area, I would go pretty regularly. If you are up north in Wisconsin stop in and check them out because you will not be disappointed.

We sat down and she came over asked if we wanted drinks and handed us the menu. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lite mustard and ketchup and raw onions. I ordered a side of fries and a Coke. The other person in my party wanted a cheeseburger and asked what kind of onions they served. The young lady said "you can have the raw or cooked". Again he asked what kind of onions do you have, again he was told "so like you can get them like raw or cooked" He said no onions and then asked for a cheeseburger with fries. The waitress repeated the order but said we both wanted bacon cheeseburgers, so we corrected her. We let her know only one of us wanted a bacon cheeseburger. The problem here is when she was asked what kind of onions do you have it meant, red, yellow, or white. It did NOT mean raw or cooked. This was frustrating because ad a sever you should be able to understand the food you serve and answer questions customers have about the food. We next need to talk about the terms that came in. There was a group of teens that walked in and immediately it became uncomfortable. They were kinda hanging out, distracting the young female waitresses from their jobs and causing an uncomfortable atmosphere. They didn't seem like they had a purpose for being there and they certainly didn't plan on ordering anything. They just kind hung around, then repeatedly walked in and out being loud and boisterous acting like it was their personal hang out. They were all males which caused a problem for the female staff in general as the focus was the group of boys and not their jobs. A man came from the back who appeared to be either the manager or owner and called the group of boys out which caused them to finally leave and not return. The food was very good. The food gets 5 stars easily. The burger was cooked well and the fries were delicious. The man that ran the group of boys out gave us a piece of cake for no apparent reason which neither of us wanted. He seemed offended by this, however although it was appreciated for medical reasons it was not something we could eat. The gesture was nice, however, it almost became an issue when we said we couldn't eat it. I paid the bill and we left without incident. Food 5 stars Service 1 star Atmosphere 0 The food was outstanding, however based on the waitress's lack of understanding about what customers were asking (what kind of onions you have is not a difficult question) and her inability to stay focused on us rather than the boys outside and the boys once they came inside, along with the boys seemingly being very comfortable to just come in and take over with no reprimand or respect towards the staff or the diners, I cannot recommend this establishment. The food is great but those kids that came in was entirely uncalled for and very inappropriate

I like to try something a little different, so I ordered the Avocado Toast with Eggs. I requested my eggs over easy, and they came out perfectly cooked. For my side, I chose the hash browns instead of the fruit. I asked for them to be extra crispy, and in hindsight, I should have asked for them to be extra-extra crispy. They were still very good. Service: We arrived right as they opened, so there were only a few occupied tables. We were seated immediately. Our server did a great job getting us settled in, gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, and never made us feel rushed. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our meal. Atmosphere: The restaurant has a welcoming feel. Large windows fill the dining room with natural light, and the tables and booths provide plenty of space. The noise level was low enough to enjoy a quiet conversation. I also liked how they used wood posts and beams to break up the large dining room, making it feel more intimate. Nice touch. Overall, it was a solid breakfast experience. I'd love to see a few more inventive daily specials to complement the menu.

I should have stopped eating with the bread. I ordered the fish- baked cod. It was rubbery and dry. I took a couple of bites from my meal and left the rest uneaten. Penny noticed and told the manager who kindly offered me a different meal, which I refused. She took it off of the bill. Overall, the service was great ( except for the so-called hostess who avoided seating us). I've been here for breakfast and lunch in the past. Both times were good.
