    1/2 order of nachos

The movie theatre is nice but the seats were really uncomfortable. Food is pretty good for a movie theatre. Got the 2 for $30 plus 3 milkshakes and mozzarella cheese sticks. Started off with nachos and it's not bad, tasty but kind of soggy. They forgot to get us the jalapeños on the side. The cheese sticks were good. We ordered the avocado flatbread (added chicken), and buffalo chicken flatbread as our entrees and it was pretty tasty. I like that The chicken pieces was big, flavor was good. As mentioned, the seats were uncomfortable as the leather was cracked and the back was too straight up that we couldn't really couldn't enjoy sitting through the entire movie. If they upgraded their seats and worked a little more on customer service, it would be a really great experience! Total bill came out to $85 with 18% automatically added.

When going to watch a movie we often go to Studio Movie Grill. The theater is clean with a good selection of food and drink items. Service is below average (a result of mandatory gratuity). Studio Movie Grill was really a pioneer in this concept, unfortunately corporate policies such as mandatory gratuity has let Studio Movie Grill fall from what it once was.

Do they serve food for all movies?

    Yes

I just bought their Groupons and research says no longer accepting Groupon in 2018 is this true?

I'm not sure but the last time I've used it, it's not valid after 5pm on weekends. Check out MoviePass.com if you watch movies more than 2x/a month. It'll save you a lot of money :)

Weather permitting, they also have a relatively large patio which contains seating. As for the food, I have never had a bad meal here. From the French Toast to the Breakfast Tacos and everything in between, the food is consistently delicious. While all my visits have been for brunch, they have an extensive dinner menu with lots options that I hope to check out in the near future. If you are in the area and looking for an a great dining experience, I highly recommend Craftway Kitchen.

I live in…read moreFlowermound and she lives in Forney so I picked a spot in the middle- mind you I've been here MANY many times over the years but she has not. I made a reservation in advance requesting a booth (since it's a tad quieter) so we could visit and have a nice long lunch having driven so far to meet up and celebrate. We were sat at a table - right next to a very large group and it was so loud we couldn't hear anything we said to each other, I asked the hostess why we were sat at a table and no effort was made to rectify the issue. My husband and I have both made reservations and table requests in the past and have never had an issue. The spot is usually held for us. And the hostess did say she saw my request on the reservation- apparently just ignored it. Then came our server. Bless her for trying but serving at a restaurant is NOT her gifting. She was very very slow to arrive (over ten minutes seated before she showed up) and she immediately got my drink order wrong, when I told her she just stared at me and grabbed my drink and came back with the correct one but a lemon and not the lime I requested. When I asked for my lime - she literally walked back with it IN THE PALM OF HER HAND!!! Three different times she removed food or drinks from our table without asking if we were done with them. She was never apologetic or kind when she made a mistake and really seemed very unaware of the "service" job altogether. My friend and I are overly nice to service people. I still tipped her very well! But the lunch was a disaster from start to finish and NOT the first time experience or birthday lunch I hoped to provide for her. We started with the goat cheese appetizer- it was good as always tho a tad too much garlic. My friend got the chicken melt after asking our server several menu questions and not getting clear answers. And I went with the turkey chili but it was too spicy for me so I took it home. The server asked if I'd like some additional chips to take home with it and never brought them. We have long loved Whiskey Cake and this wasn't a good look at all to have my friend as a returning customer. The server who brought out our appetizers was very lovely- and when she stirred the goat cheese for us and got oil everywhere, including on me, she apologized profusely. Mistakes happen- and her response to it was professional and kind. And THAT is the star I'm giving. She gets the star. The rest would be a very sad zero.

The inside was smaller than I anticipated but I really liked the aesthetic of the place. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the very friendly host and taken to a nice booth seat. My server Joshua was also friendly and made quite a few recommendations on what to order; I decided on the deviled eggs to start and got the butcher burger for my entree. I can't believe I'd encounter the day I didn't like a deviled egg. I didn't care for these deviled eggs at all. Something about the seasoning in the eggs didn't work for me, I thought the egg white part was really thick and tough and the candied bacon on top didn't work for me as far as cohesive flavors. The burger though made up for it, the burger was very good. I could taste the quality of the meat and the toppings weren't carrying the burger, the meat was thoroughly seasoned throughout, I really enjoyed it. The fries were great as well, skinny, crisp and piping hot. I wasn't a fan of their ketchup, there was some flavor in it that I didn't appreciate. I got a pistachio tres leches to go and it was just ok. I love tres leches cake, so naturally, if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it and I could see this being a fan favorite but it was way too wet to me, like drenched to the point where the cake disintegrated in my mouth and I prefer a less saturated tres leches. Other than the burger, everything else was kinda mid. I do wish the menu had more options, and honestly, I don't see myself returning just for the burger. Came during the soft opening in September 2025 with excited expectations based on what we've heard, hoping to find a new go to Taiwanese spot. Unfortunately we didn't find what we were looking for. I admit this was the soft opening and things may improve, and for their sake I hope they do. Biggest issues for us were lack of flavor in the meat and multiple proteins being overcooked. The sauces they used had the flavor but it seems like the meat just wasn't given the time to marinate because the meat itself was bland. That coupled with proteins being a bit dry from being overcooked and you don't have a good combo. If they can tweak their prep process to let the meat marinate then it would solve most of the problems though. The best dish was the fried pork chop rice by far. A bit on the sweeter side so it just depends on how you like it. The bok choy it came with was basically raw though had more crunch than the pork chop. Service was also a mixed bag. The server was super nice and helped give us recs but it just seemed like they were still getting the hang of working in a restaurant. A glass of water got some food in it so the server took it away but they never brought us a new one. Again, soft opening so I give that some grace, but food has to be more on point for a new restaurant to make it. So all in all, there are definitely some kinks to work through for them. Normally I wouldn't write a review for soft opening but given that there are old reviews here plus food quality missed the mark more than I think it should've, I think people on Yelp should get a heads up.
