My wife and I have been coming to Snuffer's for over 30 years, and it's still one of our favorite places to grab a great burger. We now frequent this location because it's the closest to us, and it never disappoints. We've always loved the burgers and fries, but on this visit the burger looked better than ever and it tasted just as amazing! A huge thank you to Snuffer's for consistently serving outstanding food all these years. Our favorites are the burgers, fries, chips & hot sauce, queso, and fried mushrooms. NO RESPONSE FROM MAY 29TH INCIDENT. As you can see it has been three months since the incident that happened at this Snuffers location in Plano Texas. My first suggestion - Is to NOT go to this location. I experienced poor service, dishonesty, broken promises and disrespect. I am still awaiting a refund for what happened and have been ignored. *S.H.O.C.K.E.R* The gentleman who calls himself the business manager (Connor S) has yet to respond respectably or favorably. They received my cash and nothing else seemed to matter. If you are reading this please be aware that you are looking at a location who doesnt seem to care about clients and clearly disappear when given the opportunity to do the right thing. I used to FREAKING LOVE this place- The service, The people, The cheese fries etc etc, but now.... Just an update as we've not been here in a good bit. The fried pickles & mushrooms app is soooooooooo good. I swear, they have the best ranch dressing anywhere. It definitely puts the apps over the top. I came in thinking I was going to have nachos, but they had a table tent advertising a chopped cheesesteak with either beef or turkey. I went totally out-of-character and got the cheesesteak with turkey. What can I say about it? The bun was amazing. The rest did not even remotely resemble the picture (because when does that ever happen?). It was terribly light on ingredients. It did not feel like I got my money's worth, although the flavor was good. Again, great bun. The thing is, the sweet potato fries and the fried pickles/mushrooms app are enough to keep a smile on my face. Oh, they have frozen margaritas. The food is very good. Cheddar Fries (cheese covered fries ) originated here and was copied by restaurants. The onion rings are outstanding !! They are introducing and trying out some new on there "NOT SO SECRET SECRET MENU" Burgers are large and are best medium rare. The "Original Chicken Sandwich " is very good as well. For older patrons they brought back SHAKES!! Hoorah!! . The music while not peak Friday hours ( during my visit ) is comfortable making it easier for customers who are wearing hearing aids. The Tvs are all set to sports, not my favorite. WISH LIST bring back Swiss fries, the larger tea and soft drink glasses. NEW ITEMS ARE on the NOT SO SECRET SECRET MENU. The ambience isn't anything fancy, but the food is portioned well for its price. I paid around $15 for my burger and my table split cheese fries. Here's what I thought of the food: Burger: Soft and fluffy brioche bun was the perfect pick to go along with a hearty patty and fresh vegetables. Crispy onion rings brought it all together as a satisfying bite that you'd want from a guilty pleasure burger on a weekend. Fries: Melty Wisconsin Cheddar with an assortments of toppings made this an indulgent dish to have with the burger. These came with ranch so definitely on the heavier side, but satisfying. They make a damn good burger. Onion rings tasted incredible with a batter I haven't seen at any other places. Was able to seat myself with no wait at all. My waitress Keira was just amazing and took very good care of us. Would definitely recommend for a nice lunch or dinner in a pinch. read more

I wish I had looked at the recent reviews before going here this afternoon. I loved the Snuffers in Addison and had gone to this location a couple times in the past with no issues. However today we actually walked out after sitting for 10 minutes with no acknowledgement we were there. And honestly it wasn't the wait - we weren't in a hurry - it was the total lack of engagement with us. There were only 3 parties in the restaurant with 2 servers and a bartender. One server talked to the customer at the bar for most of the time we were there. The other server had one table and was clearly not interested in assisting any other customers. No one even made eye contact with us. As we walked out the team member behind the bar apologized saying the servers were new. Customer care, at least acknowledging the customer is job #1 and the first thing that should be trained. So disappointed. This is a convenient location for us so I am hopeful the service improves. read more

This place is still pretty horrible. We usually stop in while shopping around this area and this was the 3rd strike. I do not recommend this place for food! Depending on the waiters and drinks they may have a heavy hand sometimes but that's not consistent either. This time our food sat out too long before it was served and the buns were hard and cheese dried out. The beef was luke warm and my favorite item here was horrible! The loaded fries room temp, cheese was dry and fries were super soggy. We were pretty hungry so ate the burgers regardless but asked for the fries to replaced with a fresh batch that wasn't dry and room temp. The fries were still horrible, all of them were soggy and burned tasting. Basically, will never visit again even with the free meal card they gave us. Then I have to ask her again for lemon. No lemon. Still waiting and still can't get lemon. I asked for lemon for my broccoli still no lemon. First, I took a star off for their switch and bait FB ad that was for lunch specials on Tuesday (burger) and Thursday (chicken strips). I went on Thursday for the advertised $10.99 Chicken Strips since I haven't been there for a while. However, the restaurant was unaware of it and was ultimately charged full price. The food was good, but it was just chicken tenders so nothing special. Fries were well seasoned and good as well. Snuffer's has been around forever, and they are very consistently serving good comfort food. I plan on returning but won't go solely for an ad special. Food was good ,but had a substandard experience here. Been visiting this location for 3 years now; been visiting Snuffers since it opened the first store. Our server Kat was completely disinterested in us. Did not keep water glasses full. Asked directly and she went to the back instead, so I got up and went to wait station and got the pitcher myself. I asked for chips and salsa before the meal as we were hungry and it came out with the meal. Kat seemed uninterested in her job, not friendly and that it was a chore for her to wait on us. A chubby guy came out to help her and asked me if I needed anything and i said some gravy if possible. His response "yeah its possible? Anythings possible"... I guess he was trying to be funny? This is the worst experience I have ever had at a Snuffers. Asked Kat who trained her. She said the bartender. No manager or GM? No. There was an obvious lack of training here. These store's have gone downhill since Pat Snuffer sold to this El Fenix gang. But this Plano location and its general manager are the worst. After repeated orders being messed up while dining in and ordering out, the general manager says, "you need to just stop eating here." Really...? Not "let me give you what you paid for off the menu." Great update to an old favorite. The new Plano Snuffers is at Park and Preston, near the Chipotle. Parking is ample. Seating offers plenty of choices - booths, at the bar or on the covered patio. Cheese fries are as good as I remember them to be. It says something about how memorable they are since it's been 15 years since I last had them! We ordered a large and it was enough for my husband and I to eat our fill and still take half home. You have 3 size options - order a small if it's just you, a medium if you have two people who want to eat them in one go and a large if you want leftovers or have a large table of snackers. I had the bacon guacamole burger; my husband ordered the monthly special, the Hatch green chile burger. Both were delicious and half a burger was plenty for a meal (especially with cheese fries). Honestly the burger would have been amazing if it was just meat and bun. It was flavored so nicely toppings almost (*almost*) took away from the meaty goodness. By the way, they cook your burger to order. We had medium and it was nicely pink but warm in the middle. There's a good happy hour but be aware only one beer is on special - it's not all draft beers. But for $3 and for a Dos Equis, who am I to complain? All in all it was a great experience. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only went here because I had a gift card...won't be revisiting. Service was horrible, order was wrong and when I mentioned the order was wrong, he said, "I typed it in right...not sure why they did that." After multiple little issues, including the server telling us that he, "was checked out for the day" because he had been there since 8 and was really only focused on seeing his dad for father's day, I simply just asked for the check. He promptly brought that and wouldn't you know it, didn't even bother to take the wrong order off or to offer to take it off. I would have been happy with the offer and would have probably paid anyway, but to not even have the decency to ask. So I left with a minimal tip, which I never do, and won't be back. Oh, and I should also mention that I had to get up to ask someone if I could have a refill, cup in hand, and she said, "yes ma'am" and then turned away from me...with no refill. WTF?
