Delicious burgers and fast service here! I got the Dougie burger and the truffle fries and both were great. The truffle fries were thin and crispy which is exactly the way I like them! They had a nice truffle flavor that wasn't too strong either. The Dougie burger with that fried egg and sauce was delicious and cooked to the doneness I wanted. A perfect place to come with friends and grab some burgers without breaking the bank! read more

Got the caesar salad wrap here and it was pretty good! It didn't include fries unfortunately but I ordered a side of 'em anyway. They were delicious shoestring fries. I'll definitely be back to try a burger! read more

It's been a few years since I have been to Village Burger Bar but I was in the area and wanted to grab a quick lunch. The restaurants was pretty empty but it was late afternoon, so I wasn't expecting it to be busy! I walked up to the counter and was able to order right away. After receiving my drinks, I decided to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the nice spring weather. Food arrived about 10 mins later. The onion rings were my favorite item of the meal. The sweet potato fries were good as well. The burger was good but it did taste like a frozen beef patty so I was a bit and about that because I remembered their burgers being a better quality. The frozen margarita was yummy and refreshing! I would return for the sides and drinks and try a different sandwich or a salad next time! read more

We are from Houston, and while visiting a great friend, he suggested eating at village burger bar. We liked the vibe of the place, but even better was when our food came out! The burgers were so tasty, the meat was very flavorful, and the sweet potatoes fries were very good. When We're in Dallas again, we will definitely eat there again. If you haven't been there, you should make it a point to go, you won't be disappointed! Thanks for such great service, Lesia and Greg read more

I don't know what it is, but I just like this place. You know when a spot just matches your vibe? That's Village Burger Bar for me .Appreciate that you go to the counter to order your drinks so you can go at your own pace. Have been here with many friends over the years and always have a good time. Perfect spot to have a few drinks to start your night. And also a big fan of the Village Dip! read more

We've been to Village Burger a few times before but today was not a good visit. The burgers were not tasty at all and we told them that we wanted the meat medium well and it came out medium. The ambiance was not welcoming and the person taking our order wasn't friendly. Also, the bathroom was not very clean. I doubt that we'll go back. read more

Mediocre overpriced burgers. Unable to order online without creating an account and confirming codes through email. They utilize multiple systems to place an online order but do not offer the ability to not have your data sold. For over priced bland food with limited menu options, this place has to make money a different way to survive. If this place wants to improve they would use a platform for online order placing that is not suspicious. It's the first place I've ever purchased from that does not offer guest checkout and requires your email address. read more

I used to go here all the time and now that I've moved back to Dallas, I was craving a burger and it was still just as good as I remembered! :) Absolutely a great place to get your burger cravings satisfied! I've basically tried all of their burgers on the menu and I like them ALL! Even their salad is delicious and filling. We enjoy how big the portions are and the price is good too! They also have great daily drink specials if you're in the mood to drink :) The staff is always super friendly. read more

great service and great food. the patio was perfect for our group. Fans were going and it felt great on a warm day

Picture this: a sad, shriveled hockey puck of a patty, so overcooked it could've been used as pavement filler. The "cheese" (if you could call it that) was a plastic-y, unmelted slab just sitting there like a lazy roommate who refuses to contribute. Then came the bacon--burnt to a crisp, brittle enough to shatter teeth, tasting like someone dumped a campfire into a salt shaker. The "fresh" onion was raw and aggressive, biting back with the fury of a middle school bully, while the sad, soggy fries flopped around like wet noodles that lost the will to live. And don't even get me started on the onion rings--battered in what I can only assume was sawdust and regret, somehow both greasy and stale, with zero seasoning except for a mysterious hint of despair. The bun? Oh, the bun. A soggy, gummy disaster that collapsed like a dying star the second you touched it, absorbing all remaining hope like a flour-based sponge of disappointment. This wasn't a burger. This was a hate crime on a plate, a culinary betrayal, a monument to failure. If this meal had a Yelp review, it would just be a single, tear-stained "F" written in Sharpie on a napkin. 0/10. Would rather eat a microwaved tire. (...Now I need to go eat something good to cleanse my soul.) read more

To be honest I don't really think its worth 20 dollars for the burgers here they almost didn't add any sides until I asked and I got no drink and my meal was still almost 20 dollars and the portions aren't adding up I could find better for much cheaper which I recommend. read more

Order like fast food and then service and quality of high end burger joint. Great fries and burger and quick service.

One of my favorite burger joints. I personally love the southwest turkey burger and garlic Parmesan shoestring fries with jalapeño aoli. More recently, I tried the panini. It was to die for... and a little less expensive than a burger and fries. The service is fast and it's usually a little packed in there as far as ambience. Best to have someone hold a table while another person places the order. read more

I have eaten there several times but this time we ordered our food to go and the results were very disappointing. The inside of the buns on both burgers were burnt black, and I do mean black. The bread was tough and chewy, a disappointment to say the least. We ordered our burgers medium but they were cooked very well done. Poor quality, and a lack of quality control. My last trip there unfortunately. read more

Best be very hungry as the burgers are HUGGEEE. Need to cut them with steak knife to get them in eatable size. We got their cheddar burger each and small order of sweet potato fries. More than enough. We haven't been here in years as there as so many good places to eat in Collin county. Must try to get back sooner than later. Fast service. Good crowd for weekday lunch. read more

Ordered a build your own burger and fries. The burger was cooked a perfect medium rare as ordered. The burger was very juicy with all the correct toppings except that they added lettuce, which wasn't a big deal. The shoestring French fries were also cooked and seasoned nicely. I will definitely be back as not many places cook burgers correctly when you order medium rare. The inside is small with a couple of TVs. They have a very nice patio which was crowded in a nice afternoon. The bartender was very attentive in taking my order and changing the TV as requested Very good experience!!! read more

It was late Saturday night and we were starving. We happened to be in the area so my friend, Jay, recommended we pop out to this burger place. I'm usually not the first to recommend going to a burger place since I don't eat beef. However, this place was a nice surprise. It was really nice that they had the game on so I could watch some PAC-12 games and just relax. The guy who took my order was very nice and he recommended the portobello mushroom burger, so I went with that. I've had portobello burgers from other places before and my main critique is that they get so soggy and messy after only a few bites because the mushroom is so juicy. This wasn't the case here and i was able to eat it without the entire thing falling apart in my hands. Yay! The truffle fries were good, but I definitely think you can get better fries from other places like Hopdoddy's. Overall, I had a great time here, they're open late, and the food was very reasonably priced. It's worth checking out if you're looking for a solid burger and fries! read more

Not that many years ago, there were only a handful of choices for those seeking a really satisfying beef hamburger. Then burger chains started popping up everywhere. These guys were some of the first to get on the "Gourmet" burger train over 10 years ago. Since then its not uncommon to find an average hamburger with an enhanced name such as "the Blue Bayou Burger" etc that goes for $15. Fortunately, Village Burger has survived a few ups and downs and still delivers a pretty good hamburger without having to take out a loan. Extensive choice of toppings and cheeses included along with decent fries. Beer, wine and a comfortable atmosphere ad up to a stop in and try it sometime. read more

FAV BURGER spot for over 10 years now! You know this place is good when it's survived all the ups and downs of the economy. Since the first time I came to over 10 years later, this place has somehow managed to maintain their quality and consistently add more to their menu to be more accommodating for various dietary restrictions. My go to burger is the Swiss burger. It's literally the best burger you'll ever eat with its creamy sauces and freshly sautéed mushrooms over the perfectly cooked meat patty and melted Swiss cheese... damn I'm getting hungry again just writing this! Their buns are also freshly made and you can definitely taste the difference over pre made ones at most places. Definitely check out their milkshakes and fries- my favs are the sweet potatoe fries yummm!! Also, they have impossible patties now! You can literally come here any time of the day and there will be other people inside as well. It's a great chill hangout spot to catch up with friends or just watch a sports game. It's great for large groups or even just a cute date spot! I can't wait to come back here soon! read more

Love Village Burger Bar. Good drinks, Good food, and great environment. I love the concept of BYOB, Build Your Own Burger. When I tell you you can add everything that's on the list to your burger you CAN! They don't care, they just make what you requested DELICIOUS! A MUST HAVE is there order of TRUFFLE FRIES. Man I have no idea what they put in it, but it's so addictive and delicious. Even if I come for just drinks I always order a side of these fries! If you havent had them, then you're missing out. Will I be back here? OF COURSE! I have been coming here since 2014 and don't plan on stopping. read more

I got Swiss burger and it was pretty good. I also tried the southwest turkey burger and that was good too. You just go up to order and pay so you can leave out the tip. The drinks are very expensive, almost $5 and they don't have lemonade. The onion rings are too big. About $9 a burger here and you can make your own burger too. read more

They have counter service, which I love. Just walk up, order your burger, get your drink, pick a seat, and before you know it...a delicious burger will appear before your very eyes. This place is unusually casual and decently priced for the area. Service was pretty fast and employees were nice. The women's bathroom was pretty gross, but this won't stop me from coming back! I got the "blue burger". It was pretty big and really good. The bun was buttered and lightly toasted on the inside. It was loaded with blue cheese crumbles and dressing. Blue cheese drippings were all over my plate and worked well for dipping my burger into. This burger was really flavorful thanks to the: blue cheese (of course), crispy bacon, and fresh avocado. I did order my burger med-well and it was way more on the well-done side. That would be my only semi-complaint. Other than that, I would absolutely get this again! The Swiss and veggie burgers sounded really tempting as well. Perhaps next time I'll just have to order two! read more

Rooted in burgers but a good selection of apps, salads and sandwiches along with a bar and a dozen or so beers on tap. Very good burgers. Saturday we ordered two of their Cheffed Up burgers - mushroom Swiss and Santa Fe turkey - delish. You can also build your own with lots of options. Ten bucks for an average size burger. We ordered the trio of fried - regular n sweet potato fries plus onion rings. Only two onion rings in total but good. The fries are shoestring which aren't my fave - difficult to cram in my mouth! Upside is shoestrings are easy to make crispy but these weren't. Second visit here and each time several vacant outside tables in desperate need of cleaning - ketchup, and condiments smeared and crumbs. They tended to get cleaned after patrons sat down and requested. read more

I normally go to the Allen location because it's closer to me, but I went to this location to meet a friend for dinner/drinks last night. The bartenders were super friendly and made us feel welcomed. It did take a little while to get our food, but we were okay with that because we were talking/catching up. Their burgers and onion rings were amazing!
