During the weekend, I got to meet another fantastic US Storage representative, Andrea, who was extremely kind and patient with me. I was there to rent the US Storage truck and Andrea made the transaction quick and I appreciated the time she took to go through and explained the paperwork with me. She has a calm, happy demeanor and showed genuine interested in helping me and others too. I observed her being very professional with the gentleman/customer after me. I am a new custormer and already had water damage in my unit with several cardboard boxes and their contents damaged. I was not notified, not offered an apology, not offered any credit for the inconvenience, and told if I was unhappy I could file an insurance claim. Then I was told I had to move my boxes so that the drywall in my unit could be repaired. I arrived at the appointed time and no one showed, not even a phone call or text to advise me that anything had changed, and of course no onsite agent was onsite. This place treats their customers like they are doing them a favor. Thank goodness for competition in the storage business.

Corporate offices of Public Storage raised our rate 40% in 4 months and after asking around will raise it continuously thereafter every quarter! Nobody tells you when you sign up that they will raise your rate up 40% or more. So why would you think as much. They wait for you to move in get everything settled and Hit you with this increase expecting you to pay it! Here is the kicker! I went online and at the same facility for a bigger unit they offered it for less than what I was paying. This Shady practice shows you they are willing to let renters go just so they can get people to pay the increase. And if they don't and you move out they do it to the next person. I will be reporting to Better Business Bureau as well as telling everyone I know never to rent from this terrible company. I called corporate office and they basically said there is nothing they can do because it's based on demand. even though I told them I see open units at the facility. It took me 10 minutes to find a storage facility closer to my home with better access hours and 25% less than what I am paying. Already confirmed with new place that they only do rate adjustments every 9 months and the maximum they have done was 9% during a high time. This is acceptable. I made a mistake in signing up with PUBLIC STORAGE but I hope this review helps others in not making the same mistake. I truly hope that public storage corporate reads this and gets their act together. I guess for now I will use my only consumer power and move!! WF if you deposit cash at atm the amount is immediately paid and open up. Long story short, Chris has been so good to me the first day I met him introduced by Rosie ? Anyway Chris is very prompt and polite and told me the payment went through today 7/14/25. Thank you for hiring the best. I really, really love this climate control storage facility. To me, someone needs to keep their storage clean to prevent rodents. No problem for me so far.
