Spicy Chicken Bulgogi with cheese and side dishes
    Narei K.

Nice little location with parking. Service was great. Friendly and attentive staff. We ordered yukkaejjang and Dwenjjangjigae with spicy chicken bulgogi. The soups were very good. Salty, spicy, and great portions. It tasted as if it was made to order which I appreciated for many restaurants will have a large pot of soup and reheat when ordered. The spicy chicken bulgogi was disappointing. It was dry and under seasoned. Korean spicy chicken bulgogi is normally salty, sweet, and packed with flavor. All the side dishes were good. Drinks are fairly expensive ... $17 for a bottle of soju is a bit outrageous... but will come back to try the fried chicken!

Nice quick lunch at Stone. Love the bright location across from the light rail station. The soft tofu soups are great, and come with refillable banchan. Wings and KFC come with pickled radish. Service is about a B - they are very kind but tend to disappear a lot. Note: combo soup (with seafood) contains small whole shrimp; as such mine still had full digestive tracts to peel and clean! Overall I will continue coming back!

I had a positive experience at Stone Korean Restaurant. I went for more of an evening snacks. Tried Chicken Wings and Kimbap. Both were reasonably good. However my expectations from wings were somewhat different. It felt more like a fried chicken and less like wings. And yeah they were not the best wings I have tried. But they helped me by bringing a flavorful sauce - mix of chilly and garlicy punch. So that made the experience way better. Kimbap was really good. I enjoyed it. Felt very fresh and refreshing. The accompanying soy sauce was bit salty but that's not uncommon. The ambiences of the place is reasonably good.

Stopped by to devour some Korean food post hike and Stone did not disappoint. We were promptly seated on a saturday during dinner time and there were plenty of empty tables around. We ordered the veggie pancakes, spicy chicken bulgogi, chicken hot pot bibimbap, combo pork bulgogi and pork bibimbap, and veggie bibimbap. The veggie pancakes and pork bulgogi were phenomenal and my favs. The spicy chicken bulgogi was a close second with the meat cooked well and the spices were great. The bibimbap was good but I preferred the other dishes above it. Service was quick, spacious interiors, ambience is good and food is good - what more can one ask for. Good spot to get your korean cravings.

I have been to this place many times including the previous location. I honestly can say the quality has improved quite a bit. After taking to the server we ordered a combo instead of ordering two dishes. It was a perfect amount for us Banchan was beautifully presented. I liked the mook. The pork used in spicy pork was a good quality without too much fat. Overall I enjoyed the lunch.

Fried chicken- no wings or thighs, yadi yadi. Only whole chicken that chopped up into multiple pieces. We got half and half, no sauce and half with sauce. The chicken was crispy and crunchy but meat was on the dried side. Sauce was different and too sweet, almost like eating sweet and sour pork from a Chinese restaurant, but with no hints of sour. Bulgogi - way too sweet, almost like a dessert. This is supposed to be a savory dish. Sol Lung Tang - beef bone soup - way too salty. Totally ruined the soup. We had to ask for hot water to dilute the soup. 1 and 1/2 bowls of hot waters, that's how salty this dish was. Seafood Tofu casserole - very yummy and flavorful at first. This was my favorite dish out of all until half way through. Then it got way too salty. I think the chef put sodium on the casserole, then pour tofu on clay pot. Same as the Sol Lung Tang. Totally ruined two good dishes. The Napa Kimchi banchan was surprisingly good though. As perfect as it can get.

    Veggie pancake -- Excellent!

We arrived about a half an hour before the place closed and they seated us and just asked us to order quickly. The service was great. My husband had the kalbi beef short ribs, and I had the vegetarian pancake, which was served with eight tiny side dishes. Those dishes were excellent. The business since the last time we were there. The new location doesn't have much parking, but you can park over by Whole Foods. Decor is sleek and modern and dark gray. We will be back again for another great meal.

This is my favorite Korean restaurant I always go for the bulgogi and kimchi soup! The servers were incredibly friendly and the food was so delicious and flavorful. Every time I came to Washington I come here.

I went here with my son for lunch coz we were dying of hunger in his words and we both like Korean food. We reached here and were promptly seated. There was no queue as well. We ordered vegetable bibimbap with egg, kimchi fried rice and kimchi soft tofu soup in veggie broth. Everything was delicious! The ambiance was very nice and calm. I would specially mention the difference in service I got when I had previously gone to their old location couple of years back. So glad to see that famous Korean hospitality back.

Newly reopened since moving from its long time location on redmond way. Beautiful decor, modern design, clean space, friendly staff, and most importantly, delicious food. They also have tables with induction burner where you can grill at the table although we did not try it this time since our group was too big. There are more items on the menu like Squid and pork belly that was not offered at the old location. Generally we feel the meat quality is great, flavor and preparation best in all Stone locations.

    Kimchi Jhi-Gae

I love Stone so much. The food is delicious every time. Several vegetarian options. Fast service. Free retail parking in garage nearby. Recommend the kimchi stew - the firm tofu and rice cakes are delicious. Casual location, fun music playing.

Solid korean place in Redmond more hip vibes. the table has induction heating built in, very fire. Busy on a weeknight with 20 min wait. Fried chicken was my favorite, crispy and juicy 10/10. Beef tofu soup, and spicy pork plate was pretty standard. No egg for soup :( and pork was a little mushy ish towards the end but flavors were still yummy.

I really wanted to like this place - 2 stars for the cleanliness and the service but the food seriously had a lot of gaps. I had the Gyozas which were super dry and doughy. Also had the seafood pancake which was my favorite dish out of the three I had ordered -- it had a blend of seafood and was crisp and addictive. The Bi-Bim-Bap unfortunately was my least favorite dish and the chili sauce did not seem to make it taste any better (and yes ! I love Bi-Bim-Bap -- this just did not cut it). I will avoid this place the next time I am in the Redmond area.

Great place when you're craving Hainanese Chicken…read more I had the combo chicken rice, which comes with your lighter Hainanese chicken and fried chicken. The Hainanese chicken was so tender and almost pure. It had depth and complemented the chicken fat infused rice. It's a nice balance and you can dip sauce into it if you like more intense flavors. I also liked the fried chicken because it had more texture to a tender dish and I found it nice to go back and forth. We also tried the noodles and it was decent and had a slow burn (spicy) to it but i like the rice dishes the best. The combo chicken was more than enough food for me - I left very full. Ambiance is casual. We arrived on Friday around 6:45pm, and joined a waitlist of 9 for 2 ppl. We waited about 25 minutes for a table. You sit down, order via QR code, and food comes out! Service was decent - nice and friendly and attentive - it's not a place where they'll wait on you regularly but it's also not that kind of setting. Also, I noticed their floor were extremely greasy and slippery. They put down black rugs in main walkways , but on the way to the restroom was without and I almost slip and fell. They really need a deep clean to their floor, or someone might fall for real.

I got the combo - Hawaiian chicken + karaage requesting extra salad instead of rice, as well as a half order of loco moco. It's nice that there is half order as a lot of Hawaiian restaurants tend to be full orders so it is incredibly hard to try a variety of options if you're solo or in a small group. The Hawaiian chicken and karaage both are juicy and delicious. It's great that the combo is the same price as the standard individual options so I got to try more variety without paying extra. I looked at the reviews and opted to remove the rice and get extra salad which was a good move - their chop chop salad is very delicious with a nice balance of dressing, cheese, and ham. I still had some rice from the loco moco, which was sufficient for me. The loco moco is good - I wished the patty was a bit less tough but the gravy and egg make up for it. Overall, great value and great food. I'd be a regular if I didn't live so far from Kirkland (1 hr drive for food can be challenging in busy schedules)

There is this weird little strip along side the street that is two rows of parallel parking and then there is this tiny garage with a limited number of retail parking spots. May the odd ever be in your favor. Atmosphere: Very open dining area, the food seems much more upscale than the place itself, though the interior is still very modern and very cleanly. The floor is interesting: it seems to be comprised of large sand granules so it appears very porous. Lots of windows so the area is filled with natural light during the day. Service: EXCELLENT attention to detail. Before we stepped foot in the building, the table was already being set up for us, high chair, kid's dining sets and all because we were seen walking towards the entrance through the windows. We also observed another table's high chair from a previous party being meticulously wiped down and inspected by a server--this NEVER happens at restaurants to this level of detail. I was very impressed. I also appreciated the fact that the utensils included in the napkin consisted of: spoon, knife, fork AND chopsticks. It's rare to have a place offer you the full selection of utensils let alone a fork and chopsticks together--usually it's one or the other! Service: wait to be seated, you will be watered, scan the QR code at your table for the menu, order at the table, check brought to you. Kid Friendliness: plastic cups (open cups, no lids or straw) and bowls; disposable plastic utensils. Clean high chairs. Menu: item names, descriptions and some photos via digital menu with QR code scanned at your table. In case anyone is wondering, the coke served here is Mexican coke (the best kind). But it's strange no soft drinks are listed on their menu at all. Pumpkin Crisp: this is so addicting. It's like upscale bougie sweet potato fries. There is a gentle crisp of the salted egg that compliments the soft fluff of the pumpkin. I highly recommend it. Chicken Xiao Long Bao: They were sadly out of the pork when we went. Not as soupy as I was expecting it to be but each one is PACKED with meat, leaving little room for soup. It's not a baggy sack of meat, it's a meaty bag! Corn Rib: corn on the cob that has been cut into quarters lengthwise and covered with cheese (we requested non-spicy so we had a cheese option). A novel way to have corn cut and eaten this way for us. It was tasty nonetheless and not overly salty. Stir Fried Green Beans: your typical garlic salted plant noodles, haha. Not overly salty and is a great compliment to protein dishes. Cooked just right and not overly dry or chewy -- just the right amount of snappiness to each bite. Gold Medal Stir-fried Beef: Wow this is so good. The beef is thinly cut and tender. It is a little on the salty side so best paired with rice or a neutral dish. I love the crunch the celery and onions give -- I ended up packing every last piece as leftovers so I can mix it with rice later.

The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice. On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice. This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here
