    Crispy Rice Salad
    Kim C.

I've been wanting to try here for a while. There are tons of Thai places in WA but this is one of my new favs. Came on a weekday for lunch and it was empty when we were seated. However it got busier as it got later. Service is so friendly and quick. I got the crispy rice salad, my friend got the Thai fried rice, and we shared crab rangoons. They have lunch specials and a happy hour. I definitely will be back. Everything was delicious but I actually preferred my friend's fried rice, but would order everything again. This is going to be in my weekly lunch rotation and I hope to come after work for happy hour soon. Definitely check them out!!

Just tried this spot with my before Christmas Eve. My relatives who live here frequent this place! We absolutely loved the drunken noodles, red curry, and fried calamari! The tom yum soup was also nice during this winter weather. Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance and venue is very pleasant and clean as well.

We came here late at night with a big group and were able to get seated together. We parked at google for the EV chargers which was a nice amenity, and SOI Thai validated parking. The food was good not great. We thought that it had a bit of a funny taste, but must just be cooked with some traditional spices or sauces. Overall it was a minor thing and we could still tell that the food quality was pretty good. Also the spice scale is good, just remember that their food is a bit on the spicier side.

Came here for dinner! Parking in the garage requires validation, and the restaurant validates parking tickets. We had a big party and the restaurant was pretty accommodating. Food came out relatively quickly. Portion sizes were big. The taste on food was ok. The chicken and other items tasted like fish, and it wasn't that good or enjoyable. Also, if you come with a big party, they can only split checks 3 ways.

Lower the rating since the food and service quality no longer there. Some dishes still have the best presentation, but taste does not match to what used to be.

Love trying new Thai places in the area - SOI is w wonderful addition to Kirkland Urban. The food can out so fast and was piping hot. They do spice scale on 1-3 and the 2 was pretty spicy. The soup was excellent and filed with mushrooms and tofu. Portions are quite big as well. The service was fine - I felt like the server was a bit judgy and condescending after my friend said the food was too spicy for her. But otherwise a great place to hangout and grab some grub, I'd come back! The restaurant is located on the second floor next to Google offices. Best way is to get out of the parking lot on the first floor and take the escalator up. Parking is free for 4 hours with validation and the restaurant validates. Thanks to Google, there are free ChargePoint EV chargers located next to the blue P1 elevators

Solid Thai spot in Kirkland with cozy vibes and flavorful dishes. Came here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The decor is modern and warm, and I loved the open kitchen feel. Thai Boat Noodles - 4/5 Great broth with depth. I ordered medium spice, it wasn't too spicy but had a nice kick. Pro tip: ask for the spice rack and add a bit of the pickled Serrano vinegar if you like it more sour. It took the broth to another level. Rad Na - 5/5 Honestly fantastic. Perfectly balanced sauce, tender beef, and the veggies had a nice crunch. I'd come back just for this dish. Calamari - 3/5 Crispy and not overly greasy, but nothing mind-blowing. Good starter, but I'd probably try something else next time. Drinks were solid, and the bar setup is gorgeous if you're into cocktails. Overall, a great go-to for Thai cravings in the area. Would definitely return to explore more of the menu.

Tried this place for the first time! I'm a longtime Kirkland resident and didn't know this place existed and am so happy I found it! The google map directions were a little off, sending me to a nearby building, but I finally found it on the second level of the Kirkland urban plaza. It is so cute and cozy inside. We were greeted immediately and given a heads up our food would take about 30 minutes to come out due to two large parties. We had the time and appreciated the heads up! The food was awesome! We had fresh rolls and bang bang calamari to start, which were fantastic. They did not skimp on the prawns in them. I ordered the pad see ew, which was incredibly flavorful and a generous portion. I will definitely be back!

Came here for my company's holiday party and had SO much fun!!! The service was excellent. Food came in waves which was nice. It was a really chill atmosphere and we had the kind of bubble feel room on the side all to ourselves. The crispy chicken was a fan favorite. Drinks looked really good too! It was great that they also validated parking.

Thai restaurant and bar on level 2 of Kirkland Urban. Pretty spacious inside and even has a loft level and sizable bar. Doing pretty good business for weekend dinner. Food menu has the usual Thai fare like noodles, curries, salads etc. Also has quite a few cocktail selections from the bar. The restaurant validates garage parking for up to 4 hours. I ordered the duck curry, and got it with a bowl of white rice (can also choose brown rice). The curry includes three sizable pieces of crispy duck. I think this is the most amount of duck I've gotten from a Thai restaurant. Most other places only include a leg quarter. Nice crispy skin, and still soft and meaty in the middle. The curry was creamy, savoy and sweet, which some sweet peppers and pieces of pineapple. Good for eating with the rice. I got spice level 2 out 3, which had some heat on the first few bites but then I don't notice it anymore. I was with a big party and the food was served pretty quickly after the orders were in. Overall the meal was delicious and filling. Price was $27 before tax and tip, which is not bad given the amount of duck that was included in the curry. Would definitely return to try some other dishes.

Came for my birthday dinner and to try dishes since I was planning on renting out their private patio for my mom's birthday. Our experience dining in was great, we were seated promptly even without a reservation on a busy night. Service was quick and the server, who seemed like the owner, was so lovely! Of all the dishes we ordered, my favorites were the papaya salad and crab fried rice. The papaya salad, Isarn style, was probably the BEST papaya salad I've ever had! Be warned that it is quite pungent and fishy, but so much umami. The other dishes were okay but not amazing. Cocktails were delicious though, and I love that they really try to incorporate Thai flavors as much as possible. They don't have dessert on a menu but we got 2/3 options, mango sticky rice and pandan custard with Chinese donuts. They were so kind to put a candle in the sticky rice and even sing to happy birthday to me! Obviously they're in a busy plaza so they'll stay busy, and I can foresee myself craving that papaya salad so I can't wait to come back! Although we had a good dine-in experience, unfortunately, Ken, the bartender and person I had been communicating with, just ghosted me so I had to scramble and find a different venue for my mom's birthday :(

Take out during lunch hour on a Friday! Busy!! But make note that you'll have to park and then take an elevator to the 2nd floor. Pad See Ew 2** with beef. Yummy and flavorful but spicy!! Also bought a lychee refresher-- total about $30total plus tip for lunch. Not a cheap take out lunch but so worth it if you're feeling like Thai take out!

My favorite dishes are the PHAD SEE EIW with chicken ($16.25) and the THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD (cooked medium) ($20.50). The PHAD SEE EIW has the perfect sauce balance of sweet and savory flavors and comes with broccoli and carrot. The noodles are super long and wide so you know they are fresh and not from the box. The THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD definitely has a kick to it. This dish comes with raw cucumbers, carrots, onions, and basil and is served in a tangy and umami fish sauce vinegar mix. The beef is extremely tasty, tender, and well-marinated. This past visit, my friends and I also tried two new dishes that I've never had at Isarn before- their CHIANG MAI NOODLES (aka Khao Soi) ($17.25) and the MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL ($16.50). The CHIANG MAI NOODLES were beautifully presented with a nest of crunchy egg noodles on top of a creamy yellow curry with soft egg noodles underneath. It was served with pickled mustard cabbage and onions for extra punch of flavor. The MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL reminded me of Vietnamese larb. However, this dish was more savory and less tangy than larb and the basil really shined through. It is quite oily though so make sure to enjoy it with a side of JASMINE RICE ($2.75). Portions are generous for all dishes and I always leave with leftovers. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and trendy. It's a great place for catching up with friends and not too loud. I will say the restaurant is a bit on the darker side, but that's just how they set the ambiance. Service was good and we got our food promptly within 15-20 minutes after ordering. It took a bit of time to waive the waiter down for to-go boxes, but they were attentive otherwise. Note that Isarn doesn't take reservations and it's street parking only. However, they have a waiting list kiosk inside the restaurant and so if they're busy, you can sign up for notifications and walk around the downtown Kirkland shops while you're waiting. Overall: 5/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

Went on a Friday night with a group of 5 and waited about an hour before getting seated. Unfortunately, you can't join the waitlist ahead of time and when your table is ready, you gotta be RIGHT THERE as we literally walked in 30 seconds after they called us and didn't leave a message, but the staff informed us that they had given our table away. Luckily, we just got the next one available, but felt like a needlessly stressful experience. Jumbo Firecracker Prawns (4.25/5): Spring rolls and shrimp had a baby. Crunchy outside with tender shrimp and sweet chili sauce - a perfect appetizer to share. Isarn Fried Rice (4.25/5): A fried rice unlike any other. Was my personal favorite dish of the night. The rice kernels were separated into individual grains and coated in grease in the best way possible. I'm a kale hater, but the combination with salted eggs and the purposefully chewy fried steak pieces was just super delicious! Northern Style Sweet Curry (3.75/5): The curry itself is fantastic: super balanced between savory, fragrant, and sweet. The steak chunks unfortunately were just a bit overcooked and chewy. Durian Sticky Rice (4.25/5): Sticky rice has a super satisfying chew and I appreciated that the sauce wasn't overly sweet. Durian itself was sweet and creamy with just a touch funk. If you've never had durian before, this is a fantastic intro.

We're certainly not Thai experts - we've eaten at a lot of Thai places in the US, but couldn't tell you what makes authentic vs Americanized. Compared to other places, the Pad See Ewe was pretty plain - underspiced, underflavored. Not bad, but it had no depth, no darkness or umami from the sauce, nearly bland. The crispy rolls were luke warm inside, and it was also a bland mush. I was pouring the sauce inside just to get a little flavor but still no saving the poor consistency. The rangoons were OK. The flavor of the filling was good, but we each preferred a thicker wrapper to balance the creaminess. This was an extremely thin crisp wrapper so you're just eating chunks of crabby cream cheese. Hey, if that is what you're here for then you're in luck. I always get Pad See Ewe my first time at a Thai place.just to measure relative quality. Maybe that isn't their power dish, but their menu says it is one of their most popular.
