This is definitely the best pizza I've had since I moved to the area. They earned that spot on the Top 50 list and I can see why after tasting it. We ordered the La Catrina and Fire in the Hole pizzas and while a bit pricy, it's a wayyyy better deal than pizza at the other local spots like Pagliacci's and Zeek's. The crust was so light and crispy, the pieces held together well and none of the slices really fall apart when you pick it up to eat. They offered us some hot honey on the side too when the pizzas came out and that was a welcome addition too the Fire in the Hole. I didn't find it too spicy but consider your own spice tolerance before ordering. The La Catrina was my favorite of the two. The steak and the toppings all went together so nicely that it 100% beat eating tacos at your average PNW taco truck (but obviously not California tacos). Pickled red onions on the pizza really gave it the depth of flavor it needed. read more

i used to live in downtown redmond, and i'd always pass by this place, and the atmosphere always seemed awesome, and then i looked up the menu and prices, and it was out of my normal pizza budget, but i decided that one special day, i would eat here i had the opportunity tonight to eat spark pizza. it was absolutely delicious. it was one of the best pizzas i've ever had in my life. i didn't even have anything fancy, but even then, you could still tell the quality and care put into it. my son and i devoured this pizza. it was a special experience the staff is so, so, so, so, so, so kind. one of my friends recently told me that the pizza here is good but tbh he and his kids both just want a costco pizza at the end of the day. i'm here to say that he is wrong. i never want a costco pizza again in my life. i want spark pizza every day!!!! thank you so much for this amazing experience!!!! read more

I mean, what can I add that hasn't been said x100?? Everything you've heard about Spark is true - super friendly service, amazing pizza, patio seating only, long waits. But the wait is worth it! We showed up at 5pm, a pretty big group of 10, and were told the wait was 45 mins to an hour. I'll wait that every time! We waited exactly an hour, and the food was definitely worth the wait. We had the burrata, Caesar salad (exceptional!) and pickles to start, a few beers and lemonade for the kids (raspberry was a huge hit with the kids, they were served beautifully) and then the pizzas started flowing. We ordered a couple trufflins, fire in the holes, homage to frankie and margaritas. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious. They were smaller than I thought but our server was great about us adding onto our order and the pizzas came out fast. If you're big eaters like us, I'd order almost one pizza per person. Service was super friendly from the host to our server, everyone was amazing. There's also a really nice picnic area with self serve water you could order takeout in person or in advance if you didn't want to wait for a table. Plenty of parking by the bank next door. I've been eyeing Spark Pizza for a while, and I'm so glad I finally made it here. There was easy neighborhood parking behind the restaurant, and I came here on a weekend evening. There was thankfully no line for dine-in, and the service the whole night was great. Everyone was so friendly, and the whole vibe felt so comfortable and casual, which I liked. We got two pizzas, and they were both really good. The Fire in the Hole definitely had a kick to it, and although I ate most one slice without water, the spice built up and I eventually needed water. I really enjoyed the La Catrina, and it essentially tasted like a taco on a pizza. I'd definitely get this again, and I also would like to try other flavors next time I'm here. read more

What a gem of a pizza place. Beautiful and tasty pizza. Priced reasonably for the quality. I've way too many pizza places lately and this one is one that my friends and I use as a benchmark for "good pizza" to compare against. I've been here countless times and it's never missed, the only hard thing is getting a table and finding the way into the parking lot. I personally would recommend the Homage to Frankies and the spicy honey one, but you can't really go wrong with any of them probably. It's cool sitting outside rain or shine, I've gone in every season and they properly weatherproof their patio. Servers are always very friendly and make pleasant small talk. This place will never not be busy!! Ok we came here at what we thought might not be a packed time and were very wrong hahaha. So after the 20min wait we were sat at our hosts absolute fav table (his words not mine lol), and ordered the burrata with the most amazing pistachio Crémeux and the perfect amount of bread. I also had the best margarita eveeeerrr!! Hats off to whoever made it. For the pizza we were out of luck getting the New York style pizza but all their pizzas are glorious so it's not biggie. Get ready for a wait for this one as they only have outdoor seating, but accessible bathrooms that are one stall! Everyone who we interacted with was very nice. They even mixed up our party number so we had to wait a little longer but everyone was so apologetic. So, we celebrated my kid's birthday there with a group of his friends. He and his dad had gone recently and he loved his pizza. The pizza is definitely worth the hype and the wait. We did have a bit of a wait but we occupied ourselves prior. All the teens *loved* the pizza and one said she now know why her cousins yap about it all the time. Service was quick, helpful, and made good recommendations. Even though we had a bigger group, our pizzas came out within 5 minutes of each other. They also gave him a birthday dessert! We tried the turf and turf, Frankie's homage (RIP to Frankie's), one with hot honey. One person didn't eat pork so they let them sub grilled chicken which was perfect. The heaters keep it cozy in their covered outdoor seating area. Also loved the Caeser - you can get it with or without anchovies. I thought the amount of dressing was perfect - not too much. It's been a while since I been back here and they are just as busy as always. We actually ordered online this time and just came to pick up. Parking lot is full so you would have to find Parking on the streets or elsewhere. There was also a line for pick up as well. The vibe here is calm though yet lively at the same time. We ordered the fire in the hole. The pizza was pretty good. Love that the spice came through. My feedback is that the pizza is pretty flimsy, like it would probably break if you just hold it by the crust. Otherwise, flavor is pretty good. Children of the Corn - this was introduced to me by a friend and it's definitely one of my favorites now. The combination of sweet corn with the slightly spicy chiles is pretty magical. This is one of our favorite pizza places! The dough is baked to perfection with nice charred leoparding. The toppings are well thought out and flavorful. We enjoyed the Fire in the Hole (vegetarian) and Buffy the Veggie Slayer. The margarita is a classic but not as tasty as some of the others. Rachel's Ginger Beer is more of a fizzy lemonade than strong ginger beer. Again, depends on your taste. The service is fairly quick, but can vary based on time of day. The rush hour times are usually busy and seating can take a while. Get on the wait list as soon as possible if you want to sit during the busy times. Went at off peak hours on a dark rainy day and it's beautiful ambient seating really set a great mood for a casual dining experience with some friends! We all ordered our own and shared some slices around, which was more than enough food for all. The service is fast and polite, and they came by to ask if everything was great at just the right time. The bread is fluffy and the sauces are flavorful. My friend's pizza had a burnt bubble volcano in the crust, and the burnt char taste lingered. Seemed like a popular place so if you're hungry, make sure you arrive early for the wait time. We came here for the first time and had to wait about 45 minutes. Although there was a wait, it was worth it in the end. We appreciate the heaters up on top that kept us warm when we were seated because it was pretty cold outside, We tried the Turf and Turf pizza, it wasn't too bad because it was packed with a lot of meat. The crust had a nice crunch to it, which I really liked. The lightness of the breading felt light and it didn't make us feel bloated which I also liked. We also got the Fire in the Hole pizza. The first bite had a nice spicy kick that made it even better and made me want more after the first slice, the name of the pizza fits well. Definitely one of my favorites. My friend ordered the mushroom pizza with no cheese and extra garlic. It was different, not really my thing, but he liked it. Overall, the staff was friendly, and the food hit the spot. One thing I wanted to really try was the motor city pepperoni Detroit style pizza! I pretty much came here for this to find out that they only make 20 of them a day which was a bit disappointing. I finally tried the famous Spark Pizza! I stopped by after work to pick up a pizza to go, chose the Mama Mia. The place was a bit busy in the evening and I had to wait some time before being assisted, but the pizza is worth the wait! Amazing thing crust, believe it's wood fired, and great flavors! I noticed the patio seating while I was waiting for my pizza and it looks super cute and cozy with outdoor heaters and lights. Would love to come back to dine in and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. There is a parking lot although it is a bit awkward to park and walk around the fence to get to the restaurant. Essentially, there is a dirt path on the left corner of the parking lot and you can walk around the fence towards the restaurant. Take out window is to the right (there will be a sign). I got a Sardinian pizza. From the menu: Confit Garlic Base, Ferndale Mozzarella, Red Onion, Prosciutto Cotto, Pineapple, Jalapeno Sherry Bacon Jam, Parsley I thought it was pretty good. I appreciated the texture of the dough. It was pretty fresh, warm, and had a nice texture. The toppings were good but I was hoping they'd have a bit more flavor. Somehow the garlic confit was pretty bland and I didn't really taste the jalapeno sherry bacon jam. I also think it would have been nice if the prosciutto was a little crispy. It was expensive though. $31+ after tax and tip. I'd have been happy paying $15-20 or something but for $30+ I'd look elsewhere. read more

There's a reason for a wait time at this awesome pizza place Spark has a great outdoor seating arrangement with heating. The menu is solely pizza and all kinds of it. I got the Truffle pizza, which is basically made with a truffle paste base (not tomato) and instead of cheese it's made with Yukon Potato slices. Second time at Spark Pizza. Came with a group of 8 for mid-day lunch during off peak hours on a weekend. It was a nice day and was able to get seated on the picnic tables they had below right away. If we wanted to eat on the main patio, it would've been a 50 minute wait. They have happy hours 3-5pm everyday, even on the weekends. $10 cocktail drinks and $16 pepperoni or mushroom pizzas. Our group ended up ordering (2) Caesar salads to start and 4 pizzas overall. The quality of the ingredients and pizzas were all good. Crust was soft and chewy. Didn't feel heavy or bloated after eating, which I normally do. Wanted to try the Detroit style pizza but it was sold out. The food is good but the takeout service sucks. Why would you have people pick up and place their orders in the same line? I asked the hostess if I really have to wait for 4 ppl to order in front of me to pick up my food ready 15 min ago and she said "yes". That would be no issue if they were quick taking orders but the same person taking orders is also making drinks for people placing orders so each person on line literally took 5 minutes to move. As LA natives, we know a thing or two about excellent service, great pizza, and good drinks. Sparks came highly recommended, so on one rainy evening we decided to check it out. The place is quite small, but the ambiance more than makes up for it. We waited about 45 minutes for a table, but they have a designated area where you can grab a beer or cocktail and hang out while you wait, which made the time pass easily. Our group of three enjoyed a few cocktails and waited patiently. Once we were seated, the space felt warm and quaint. We were greeted by Jacob, who promptly brought us water and walked us through the menu and the vibe of the place. Surrounded by the comforting aroma of oven-roasted pizza, we immediately felt at home. We asked for recommendations and were pointed toward their best sellers, so we ordered the Mamma Mia and the Spicy Lucy--both excellent choices. The dough was perfectly warm, and every bite somehow tasted better than the last. This spot absolutely deserves five stars for its outstanding service and incredible pizza. TAKE OUT EXPERIENCE I ordered 3 pies for pick up at 4pm Saturday, they were ready on the dot, labeled with the contents and my name on each box. Service was super quick. I took these 2 hours later in plastic containers into the Mariners game, and even 2 and 1/2 hours later, cold and a little soggy these were some of the best pizzas my family has eaten.
