    Spicy pork plate

I've passed this place so many times on weekends when it's closed and finally got to try it during the week! The prices look expensive, but I was surprised by the quantity of food I was given! I ordered a plate cuz I wanted to try a lot of stuff without having to make decisions, but the person in front of me ordered a beef bowl and it seemed chipotle style and the bowl was huge(!) and the amount of meat was quite a bit as well. I really like the flavors of all the items, and I especially liked their kimchi and next time I want Korean food during lunch on a weekday I'll be back! (It's taken three? meals to eat my spicy pork which is very delightful for $19)

I have very limited experience of Korean places. However this place really stood out to me. Service was fast. I tried 3 side Salmon and it was delicious. For folks who are interested in some hot sauce, definitely try "make me cry" sauce. It is hot and tangy and I really enjoyed it.

This place is difficult to stop by if you don't work in the Bellevue area. They only open during lunch time Monday through Friday. My husband was on vacation so I asked him to stop by hahahaha. Parking is not great as it aim for people taking the bus at the transit center. We ended up getting the tofu bowl (half the protein + 6 sides). For around $15, it was a good portion. The tofu was cooked differently from other places, it was crispy on the outside but sooo fluffy on the inside and the crispy was different too. I really enjoyed it. The sides was definitely fresh and of high quality. For the sides, we got the crab salad, seaweed salad, broccoli, corn, kimchi, and edamame. We also added an egg for an extra $1.5. overall, if I work in the area I would definitely come here more often. The food is good and good price and great portion, but otherwise, it could be a hassle to come.

Haha, love the pun name Bowl Gogi! This is pretty much the Korean Chipotle where you pick your base and go down the assembly line with your choice of protein, toppings, and sauces. You can also add an egg at no extra cost. They many meat options and even tofu for vegetarians! This is more of a lunch time thing since they close kind of early and is only open Monday to Friday, it's located next to the transit center which is convenient for people passing by and working around here. If you drive like me, you can park at the city center garage, I believe it's $6 for an hour of parking, this restaurant is located right outside the entrance of one of the doors once you get upstairs from the garage. It's under $20 for a bowl, portion is pretty big so I say this should last for 2 meals. Restaurant is really clean, I love this concept. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

This used to be wonderful and very fresh, every side was lovely but now the meat is strangely textured and grey and some side items seem, will bit be returning anymore.

Picked up lunch from this place on a weekday. Service was quick. I got the spicy pork lunch box and it was pretty good. I liked how there was a lot of variety in the dishes inside. The volume of food was pretty good too. I think my favorite was the pork since it was well seasoned and tender. I didn't like the kimchi too much but I think they tend to be hit or miss with me since I like to have more pickled kimchi rather than just spicy kimchi. Didn't like the egg too much but I tend not to like egg items so I won't hold it against them. The dumpling and the egg roll didn't stand out but were a good addition to the rest of the food.

Got a bulgogi bowl here since it was near work and it was really good. It's a bit pricey, but the portions here are no joke. I was really full and I'm a big man. I'd come back again if I'm in the area

Chicken bowl with spicy bibimbap, pickled onions, edamame, cabbage, seaweed, green onion, & bean sprouts

Fast service & delicious food! I got the chicken bowl with spicy bibimbap, pickled onions, edamame, cabbage, seaweed, green onion, & bean sprouts. The spicy bibimbap sauce is moderate spice (for those of you looking for a scale, I'm not great with spice). You go through the line in order of base, sides, protein, sauce & add ons and you can mix and match anything you want, catering to everyone's tastes. They have an ample selection of choices for each step and the bowl itself is relatively healthy. I like that you can choose to have 3 sides and more protein or 6 sides and half protein. The restaurant itself is cute with indoor and outdoor seating.

Fantastic! That was a great experience. My bride went with the Beef Bibimbop ($11) and absolutely loved the flavors. I built a Spicy Pork Bowl Gogi ($11) with Kimchi, sprouts and cucumber and spicy bibimbop sauce - it was outstanding! It had a good kick to it (I'm glad I didn't select the "Make Me Cry" sauce). The varied menu, the quality and taste of ingredients makes for an awesome lunch spot - and provides something for everyone (meat lover, veggie lover, spicy or not) Our timing was good arriving just before noon. After we sat down the line grew rapidly and was wrapped around the place - but it seemed to move quickly. They are only open Mon-Fri, 11-3. If you don't work nearby, it will be tough to check this place out.

Store sign right by the transit center.

I do enjoy a good bibimbap, and Bowl Gogi has never let me down! The location might be difficult to spot if you're driving around; it's a little bit easier to find if you walk to the location, and MUCH easier to find if you take the bus. Bowl Gogi is right next to the Bellevue Transit center, where the buses pull through. Bowl Gogi is only open from Monday through Friday. So if you work around the area, it's a no-brainer. Unfortunately for me, I meal prep for the week, so haven't been able to visit as often as I'd like. The few times I didn't have food prepared, I got extra excited because that meant I had a legit reason to go to Bowl Gogi. If you're around the area during the work week, I highly recommend Bowl Gogi. I'm hoping I run out of food again during the work week so I can visit Bowl Gogi for some delicious bibimbap!

I love the customization that comes with fast-casual dining, and I LOVE sauces. Bowl Gogi is the perfect mix of the two. Pick your rice and your meat and let your imagination take over. I had bulgogi and spicy pork, with spicy, creamy, savory sauces. I chose kimchi, bean sprouts, and eggs as my toppings. A little bit spendy for lunch, but high quality and a huge portion. A little hard to find, and they don't validate parking, but those are where my gripes soft.

We were still en route and made it within 15 minutes but were removed from the waitlist because we didn't answer the 3 minute call. Nonetheless, we only waited 10min for another table. The dining area that is nearest to reception can get "cold" particularly the corner, we sat there once and your elders will not like it. Today we got seated there again and decided to wait for the other side where the AC wasn't full blast. Its all chill. Friendly, accommodating staff. The food comes fast, like Din Tai Fung. The cost too, is like DTF. Overall, its good, but not worth the higher cost, but the service and cleanliness make it a combined 5 Star. The Kalbi Tang is the star, a must get every single visit.

I was worried about the price because of its location in downtown Bellevue, but at ~50 a person and for the quality and quantity I received it is far worth. I never had to wait very long to get sat, and the entrance is a little hard to find. It's located upstairs a separate retail area. The ambiance is only decent, but it's not crazy loud. The service is prompt, but most of the ordering is done on the iPad anyway. You can order whatever you want, including rice, lettuce, etc. You also get one wagyu per person. The pork jowls and marinated kalbi are my favorite. If you like squid I highly recommend getting that too. The banchan side dishes are copious and refillable. Our biggest qualm is that grill could be hotter. Perhaps it is a means of controlling your pacing, but we want the meat NOW! Haha They do charge extra if you don't finish your food, but that's never happened to us.

For $40+, the meat quality wasn't bad, but the slices were super thin (looked like meat for hotpot) and cooked way too fast. I'd leave the meat on the grill for maybe 15 seconds and it would already start getting charred. That part could honestly be user error on my end, so I'd still be willing to give this place another try. I will say their banchan was really good and probably one of the highlights of the meal. Overall, I just left feeling a little disappointed, especially for the price. If you do decide to come here for AYCE, I'd probably recommend going for one of the higher tiers to get a better experience.

Although we didn't order any dishes that made use of the advanced tabletop, I still think it's so cool! Despite the tables also having a digital kiosk, I appreciated how they still handed us actual menus and manually took our order, both of which are becoming less common these days. Our group started with some hot tea and ordered three dishes which was the perfect amount to share. We loved each item and I enjoyed tasting the various banchan side dishes (included with most main menu items): broccoli, traditional kimchi, omelet, potato, salad and kimchi cucumbers. I can be picky about kimchi, but this one had an ideal balance between tartness, spice, slight sweetness and umami. Their kimchi cucumbers were also a hit as they were refreshing with a tantalizing heat. + SEAFOOD PANCAKE ($25): My first time having a seafood pancake and it won't be my last! It was hot right off the pan with a crispy golden exterior. The seafood included baby shrimp, baby octopus and calamari. It seemed like the portion of seafood was reasonable since I had some in almost every bite, however I don't recall seeing much shrimp... mostly calamari and octopus. They added a lot of green onion, which I personally liked as it gave the pancake an element of freshness. This came with a side of soy dipping sauce, but I enjoyed it as is. The portion size was generous for the three of us. + KIMCHI BEEF TOFU SOUP ($22): This soup was basically a comforting hug in a stone pot. It arrived at our table, still bubbling, with a small bowl of rice. While there wasn't a ton of beef in the soup, the pieces were lean and tender and there was enough to split between the three of us. I loved the smooth silky tofu, and the kimchi gave the soup a little tang. Adding a scoop of rice into my personal bowl and pouring the soup on top made for perfect bites as the grains absorbed the broth. We requested a medium spice level which was just right for me. + HOT POT BI-BIM-BAP w/ CHICKEN ($25): You can't go wrong with this dish! Carrots, radish, zucchini, bean sprouts, spinach and a raw egg topped the bed of rice along with our protein choice of chicken. We stirred in the egg immediately and I enjoyed all the fresh vegetables in the bowl. The chicken was delicious as well and seemed to have a slightly sweet marinade. The best part is the little bites of rice that crisped up against the side of the bowl, adding some toasty notes and texture. We forgot to drizzle on some of the red chili sauce provided with the dish, so I'll need to do that next time! The three of us had a terrific dinner here and the service is so kind. We were checked on three times, which surpassed my expectations. We came for an early dinner on Sunday, so it was relatively quiet, even shortly after 6:00P. Even if the restaurant was full, the tables are spaced comfortably apart and I noticed they even had a separate section that is walled off for a larger group. Parking is also easy, running right alongside the neighboring walking trail. Needless to say, I'll be back!
