I'd highly recommend walking or taking transit here. Parking is hard to come by as it's in the midst of all of the apartments and businesses in downtown Bellevue. The place gets packed very quickly midday as workers swarm during their lunch hour. It's very casual and doesn't have too much seating, although a few tables are available outside in nice weather. I'm a fan of vegetarian pho in particular and enjoyed it from this restaurant! The broth was delicious and delicate; my only qualm was the broccoli was chopped in really big pieces which made it hard to take eat in one bite. Good amount of noodles and lots of veggies! Would definitely recommend for a quick and filling lunchtime spot if you work or live nearby. read more

Pretty good Vietnamese place located near the Bellevue transit center. Prices are a few dollars higher than most Vietnamese places in Seattle, but pretty standard for Bellevue. I got the pork bahn mi sandwich. It had too much bread. I would suggest to hollow out the French bread a little bit to allow more vegetables to fit. The pork was good but not super special or as flavorful as the ones I've had in International District or University District. Probably the best and only bahn mi available in Bellevue, but if you can, get it in Seattle for cheaper and tastier. read more

My team decided to eat here one day for team lunch. It was packed when we arrived and the line was almost out the door. The wait however wasn't too bad and the line moved pretty steadily. A lot of people ordered takeout so finding a table took a little patience but we eventually found a table. I decided to pass on pho and ordered the Bun Ga Nuong (chargrilled chicken with rice vermicelli noodles). It was pretty good, the grilled chicken was tasty and went nicely with the noodles, veggies, peanuts, and sauce. They gave a good amount and I was pretty full after finishing the bowl. It was also healthy as well and I didn't feel heavy at all after eating. The whole bowl ran me around $9 which wasn't too bad for Vietnamese food. There are 3 grilled shrimps, 5 meatballs, and like 2 pieces of grilled pork. There were some cucumbers at the side, and a lot of rice noodles (not the thin type of rice vermicelli that they usually use, but a thicker type of rice noodle). Then underneath the rice noodle, there were herbs and bean sprouts. The taste is alright since it's a safe dish, but I think my friends enjoyed their Pho (vietnamese beef noodle soup) as well. Price: With a price of close to $11, I think I expect a bit more. But oh well, it's in downtown Bellevue... what can you expect? haha.. Service: The were actually not much service.. It was our first time there, but nobody said anything for like 1 minute.. There were a table full of Chinese and they were all looking at us since we were discussing what to order in Mandarin. It was actually pretty rude and uncomfortable, but then old people usually don't care what others think so they just do whatever -.-!! After standing there for a minute, the cashier told us we can just order first then go find a seat... well yeah, you could have told me one minute ago... The only service that you will receive at the restaurant is that they will give you your dish from the kitchen, and they'll clean up the table after you leave... so.. I think whether you tip them or not is up to you. I did it, but I felt like it's more like a take out kind of restaurant since you need to refill water on your own as well. Ambiance: The ambiance was quite weird because there were people coming in to get water, then leaves... I don't know if that's normal, but the cashier seemed to be pretty awkward as well when he tried to greet them... There weren't many people talking either, like everyone was just busy eating.. It's probably like the best place for a quick lunch or if you wanna order anything to go... I have been coming to Cyclo Pho for years now - with a big break due to Covid shutdown and working elsewhere. The Pho is easily the best in Bellevue and the pork Bahn Mi is really good and is made with a really good roll. Like with everything in Bellevue the prices are not cheep but they are not out of line. I've given Pho Cyclo many visits and rarely did I leave satisfied. The line experience with people blocking other people's utensil was annoying but I did not mind it. If you order P-4, you get one meatball, cut into two, with the rest of the meat being not enough. Lastly, what prompted me to write this review is the fact that I waited 40 minutes for a bowl of pho that was completely bland. It was not the same as the other days and you can tell they took shortcuts. Pho in Seattle and Bellevue is too good to be coming back to here. read more

Pho Cyclo is going to give its neighbouring pho outlets a run for their money. This well established and well-reputed Pho place is now accessible to those afraid of bridges, and can't otherwise travel too far from their office in Downtown Bellevue. It's also right next to the Bellevue Transit Center, so really, anyone can come and have a delicious bowl of pho. They had a soft open today but their interior is done. They just need to put up a permanent sign. The menu is smaller than their competitors but you can't argue with the prices. For the price of a small at What the Pho, you can get a large at Pho Cyclo. Pho Cyclo's soup seems to be quite lean and clean. There is, however, less in terms of variety in ingredients but with enough demand that could change over time. You can also get Salad, Bun, Com and Banh Mi. Banh Mi for $3.45 makes this one of the cheapest places for a quick lunch. I'm wishing for great success, great competition, and hopefully an expanded menu down the horizon! read more

I haven't been to a Pho Cyclo since years ago with their Sodo location. I recall thinking that it was expensive and not quite as tasty as some International District haunts I frequent. This is their newest location and a bit hard to find (their sign is not well hung and they are in one of the many buildings in downtown Bellevue). They are definitely busy during the lunch rush and the setup is a little unique. You pick a table, grab your own utensils and then step up to the counter to order. You are then brought your food via the # you leave on your table. We were waiting on my sister who was running late and approached by a staff member who rudely asked us why we haven't ordered yet. This rubbed me a little wrong as we were obviously waiting on someone (not just people who loiter). The food was on the spendy side ($7.84 for a bowl of bun thit nhuong). The pricing was also a bit odd with the strange price endings ($3.45, etc). Our food arrived fairly quickly although I did have to track someone down to get an additional bowl of fish sauce. They do not come back to check on you at all until you are done with your meal. Wasn't the best food I ever had but not the worst. read more

My current default pho is the small flank pho. It's not written as a choice on their menu, but you can request just one type of protein if you so desire. If you want to switch things up a bit, the charbroiled pork rice noodle (N-1) or rice (C-1) dish are decent. The pork is sweet and salty and has an essence of lemongrass to them. Sometimes, I get the stir-fried tofu with lemongrass, onion, and chili pepper with rice (C-7.) It's a bit oily, but it's flavorful with its salty and spicy mix of flavors. It makes going vegetarian for one meal not so bad :) read more

Had a large pho with everything here this morning. Yesterday I posted a review saying another pho place was the best I've had in a while, scratch that, this place is the best I've had in a while, but not by a huge amount. The broth is much more pungent than any I've possibly ever had. You can taste and smell the clove, not too clear, not too oily, perhaps less beefy than others. Clove can be overpowering, but they cut their steak thicker and their brisket is also thicker. One thing about a more pungent broth is, it doesn't get overpowered by condiments. You can add the basil, bean sprout, lime, hoisin, sriracha and chili sauce, and the broth still shines through. In fact, I suggest you add one extra lime to cut through the pungency. (Sorry for using the word pungent so many times.) The pho also came with a gingery sauce for dipping the meat I believe, excellent above-and-beyond touch. The fresh spring roll with shrimp and pork was lovely with a nice peanut sauce. Decor is nice with outside seating. Service was... decent. read more

Cold, windy day in Seattle calls for some hot spicy Pho. This place is walking distance to my office so few of us decided on Pho for lunch. You can order online and pick up or sit down to eat. Lunch line was long but was moving fairly quickly. I ordered the veggie Pho, which came with HUGE chunks of carrots and raw tofu. Ok ... that wasn't stopping me from enjoying my yummy broth where I added extra hot sauce to, right ? Well well to my surprise as I picked up one of the largely cut carrots i noticed something ... something gross that is clearly not a Pho ingredient....... yup HAIR(pic attached). Eww I said ... more than one strand of hair I was so done with my Pho! I told the server who didn't understand me as English was not his first language, he smiled and took my bowl away. I guess I was done with my Pho at that point. I highly suggest this place to start using hair nets to avoid the additional "add on" to their Pho. read more

I tried Pho Cyclo for the first time a couple days ago during my lunch break and can definitely say it's the best pho I've had. The taste of the broth was very flavorful and you can tell that they took their time to make it. Growing up, my parents made a lot of pho and can honestly say I'm a big fan of pho to this day. With us transitioning into the fall weather, I decided to recently try several different places in Bellevue hoping to find a place that I really enjoy and I am so glad I decided to stop by Pho Cyclo! I came here yesterday for a team lunch with my colleagues and we were all pretty impressed. This used to be Pepper Jack's, a teriyaki joint, but I hate to admit that this pho place is definitely an upgrade. I've been to the Pho Cyclo Cafe on Broadway and remember it being MEH. But this Bellevue spot is my go-to restaurant for pho now. It's much closer than What the Pho and Pho All Day, its neighboring competitors and I really like their system! I can picture this place getting really packed and it might be difficult to find seats around the noon hour though. But the way it works is you grab your utensils, place your order at the front and then sit down and wait for them to serve your meal. They are REALLY fast! They must've worked out their kinks from the other reviews because it was such a quick and delicious meal. I ordered the #3 which was the pho with beef balls and steak. It was very tasty and they give you just the right amount of bean sprouts for each person, instead of having to fight over the tiny plate of bean sprouts that other pho places give. I even heard my co-worker say that he didn't want his bowl of noodles to end! I can't wait to try some of their other dishes like the vermicelli bowls or even the banh mi. Super excited for this place!!! Of course you're going to pay much more to eat pho in Bellevue compared to the ID, but for what it's worth. I think it is time that I write a review about this place, I work around the corner and get food there almost once a week and I tried a handful of different dishes from the menu. The place is small and it get's tight almost every lunch break of the week. Nowadays, I just order to go and eat at work, since we had more than once trouble finding a table with the waitress having our food in hand, but no space to put it. Staff is always nice and fast with the orders, so A+ for the service. My favorite dishes is the Bun Thit Nuong, Bun Bo Xao, Pho and the Banh Mi Sandwiches (great value for money). The Bun dishes come with a side of daikon slaw and a delicious sauce, I wish there would be more slaw, I just love it. The meat is tender and has great flavor, you can really taste the lemongrass and herbs. The Pho they have is flavorful and really a nice sized portion for me. I tried other places like this and none could compare to this one. The bad part are their hours, it sure is great for lunch, but with them being closed on weekends and evenings, there is no way to get my fix outside of work. :( I am also not sure about parking in case someone not working in Bellevue wants to try it? I doubt they have validated parking for one of the nearby garages? read more

I love the broth at Pho Cycle! This place is great. They have two other locations in Seattle. One on Capitol Hill and the other down by industrial district. All I have ever had was the delicious pho and tea. The vegetables are fresh and yummy. The only negative thing about the downtown Bellevue location is they do not validate parking so you will pay $6-10 bucks depending how fast you can eat!! read more

I've had two meals here - Bun Ga Nuong (Rice Noodles & Chicken) and Pho Tai Nam Bo Vien (Soup with rare steak, flank steak and meatballs). If you're looking for something light and healthy, the Bun Ga Nuong was great! The chicken was tasty and it came with a side salad with some sauce. It was a clean and refreshing lunch. On one of our colder, rainier days, I got the Pho. I got it to go, and all the accoutrements came on the side (noodles, bean sprouts, jalapenos, beef, onions, etc). So, if you have to walk it back to your office, things won't get too soggy. The broth is amazing! It's super fragrant, punching you right in the nose with rich beefiness, lemongrass, and ginger. I had to drink some of the broth before I was able to fit everything, though. So, once you get it all together, the onions, mint, and jalapeno add a little something extra, balancing out the richness. The beef, once it stews in the broth, is super tender. My only complaint is that the meatballs were a little spongy - maybe they're premade or something. $9 is a pretty average price for lunch in Bellevue, so I can't complain at the price. I can easily spend $14-16 at the food trucks. read more

It's very hit or miss here. Usually the pho broth is pretty good, with a nice deep cinnamon/clove taste. However I came here the other day and the pho broth was tasteless. Not sure if they ran out of broth and just decided to add hot water to the little bit of broth they had left, but it really wasn't cutting it. Also, they've recently raised prices while making portion sizes smaller, not a fan of that. I probably wouldn't come here if my office wasn't a block away, the price is too high for a small inconsistent bowl of pho. The owner/cashier seems really nice though so I feel bad that I can't rate it higher. read more

I'm not sure if they just washed the dishes with a bit too much soap before serving me but i have been at home with a queasy stomach for the last two hours after eating this meal..
