I've heard of this place through social media and drive by O'BOP once and a while, so I finally took the chance to try them out today for lunch. It's located inside a gas station convenient store and you order through the gas station cashier. There's no seating, so it's strictly takeout. I ordered the B-Bop which is a BBQ beef marinated in bulgogi sauce. All the ingredients are stacked on top of each other, from the sauce-covered meat on top to the glass noodles and vegetables below, and in the final layer the rice. The meat itself is just okay, but I found it a little bit dry. The sauce does help though and add more flavour to the meat. My favourite part of the dish was the glass noodles, it was really delicious. And for the bottom part where the rice is, it was also a little dry and there was so much of it. I think the ratio of the bowl could be changed, there wasn't much bbq beef inside but there was so much rice. Big imbalance I would say. You should probably mix the bowl when eating this too. I like the concept of kbbq in a bowl, but in my opinion the bowl is a work in progress. Not bad coming from the gas station though, and the bowl was pretty big too.

Came across this place accidentally. I stopped by to pump gas & had to try it. I was delighted. I got the noddle bop 8 stars & my goodness! WOW, it was spicy. Typically in my experience people will say its spicy but not to my liking. This one was over board. Totally not their fault. It was delicious. Presentation could be better to make it look more appetizing but just dig in & enjoy. The portion size is perfect to fill you up just right. I also found it to be fairly affordable.

Hole in the Wall? May be! who cares when they serve amazing food! This is inside the Shell Gas station and you have friendly folks taking your order and serving you a delicious meal! They offer meals that are take out and you can eat while anywhere you want to. B Bop is for Beef, Po Bop is for Pork and Chi Bop is for Chicken. We ordered Chi Bop and with Spicy rating of 7/10. They ask for a Spice Level when you order and please be cautious of the spice rating. We love Spicy food and spice rating for 7 was the perfect spice level, anything more would have been difficult! The Chi Bop is stir fried chicken which is doused with min of 4-5 sauces on a bed of rice, thin noodles and salad. This was amazing ! we also ordered Mandoo (chicken) which are chicken pot stickers served with their special sauce. Plenty of parking, you get your dish within 5 minutes! will come to try other Bops!

I enjoyed my lunch, and considered it good for "gas station" food. I got the chicken. The flavors were very satisfying, though I would have liked spicier (I ordered 7 out of 10 stars). It came in one bowl, rice on the bottom, then a little salad (very little), some noodles which were good, and the chicken and sauces on top. For $10, I think I'd like more chicken. Otherwise, I was pretty satisfied.

Chi (Chicken) Bop... Very delicious!

I have been coming to this place multiple times and all their yummy Bops varieties are delicious. A very simple but delicious Korean BBQ meal, all in a cute small/medium size bowl. A bowl of rich and delicious flavors where you can choose from beef, pork or chicken... You should definitely try their place at least once. The Korean woman who gave me my order also gave me a high compliment of my Northface jacket... Super sweet of her. ~^^ Anyhow try this place out, plus the prices here are very reasonable.

Such a unique little operation. This little restaurant is located inside of a convenience store at a gas station. So weird! But cool and different which I always like. The korean woman who served us was very nice and joyful. She prepared our food quickly and clearly efficiently. There is a cute screen by the order counter that says how great their bowls are and how healthy... super cute. We sat outside and ate at the little bistro tables provided. Our view was the gas pumps. Haha. All 3 of us really enjoyed our bowls. Having japchae noodles with rice was a bit odd to me at first, but it really worked! The bowl doesn't look that huge but trust me, there is a lot of food in that thing. Well worth the price. I would and probably will happily return.

Generally ok bibimbap The beef tastes ok They can adjust the amount of sauce The mushroom slice in it is good

The food is great. Not what you would expect from a gas station. It's layered with rice, glass noodles, salad and meat on top. The sauce they use on the top of the meats is awesome! You can choose a spicy level of 1-10 and I love spicy in all of my foods so I typically get a 9 or 10. It can get busy at times. The food is only available during the week. Saves me time when I need to get lunch and gas!!

This place is a Hidden Gem. If you haven't had it before, you're missing out. O'BOP is a Korean-Style meal in a bowl, served with: Korean Bulgogi Marinated Meat ( chicken , pork , beef ), veggies, steamed rice, clear noodles. Light, Savory, and yummy to-go lunch. *they also have a vegetarian option* O'BOP has always been my friends and I's favorite place to go to for lunch. I usually get 1) B-Bop (marinated pork) or 2) Chi Bop (chicken) and it is SOOO DELICIOUS. the meat is seasoned so well, the noodles & rice cooked to perfection, and lastly the mystery sauces create this master piece! You can also adjust the level of spiciness so it's very convenient for those who love spicy & those who don't. I always crave O' BOP, give it a try & you'll fall in love. AND Price is very cheap for the generous portion & amazing taste! I 100% recommend this place.

Sort of weird it's in a gas station but the service was good and quick. The food was fresh and spicy! You can pick spice level from 1 to 10, I picked a 4. My girlfriend got an 8! Felt a little pricey for what you get but my first bite was really good...I just didn't feel super amazing afterwards and that's my own fault, so if I could give 3.5 I would.

From the moment one crosses the threshold, the air itself seems perfumed with a slow‑smoked promise of delight, beckoning diners into a realm where time-honored craft reigns supreme. The brisket, a veritable masterpiece, arrives with a bark so exquisitely rendered it borders on the poetic. Each slice yields with gentle persuasion, revealing marbling that melts into a silken whisper upon the tongue. The ribs, lacquered in a glaze of subtle sweetness and smoky depth, cling tenderly to the bone, surrendering with an elegance that speaks to hours of meticulous tending over smoldering embers. Even the sides--often relegated to mere accompaniment--command admiration. The cornbread is a golden triumph, delicately crumbed yet luxuriously moist, while the collard greens possess a soulful richness that lingers like a cherished memory. And the house-made sauces, presented with almost ceremonial reverence, offer a spectrum of flavor that elevates each bite without ever overshadowing the meat's inherent artistry. Service is attentive without intrusion, delivered with a warmth that mirrors the glowing hearth at the heart of the kitchen. My family and I often come in for lunch; we're big fans of the lunch sets where you can choose 3 meats, salad, and miso soup for about $20! Our personal favorites were the sweet soy toro beef and the spicy pork. I think compared to other people's experiences, I thought the staff were kind, attentive, and really improved our experience this time around! They told us how long to grill the meat for, what sauces they thought paired best with each cut, and even fixed our grill when it wasn't working properly. I was already a big fan of gyu kaku cause of their food, but the staff here were an added bonus as well. We'll definitely be coming back!

COCKROACHES IN THIS RESTAURANT!!!…read more Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. We waited over 30 minutes just to receive our drinks, which already set a bad tone for the night. On top of that, when we politely asked a server about a dish that never arrived, his response was extremely rude. He told us, "We know what we're doing," instead of offering an apology or solution. To make matters worse, we noticed cockroaches on the walls, which is completely unacceptable and very concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Between the long wait times, poor customer service, and serious cleanliness issues, this is not a place I would recommend. We expected much better.
