We've had Beef O'BOP and Pork O'BOP here and they were both delicious. You don't see the combination of glass noodles, meat, rice, vegetables and some secret sauce in just any food place. The place is inside the gas station's convenience store, so don't look for it in the plaza across the street like what I was about to do until I called. I only would've known about this place from Yelp, fortunately. O'BOP is located in a Shell station at the intersection of 148th and Main in Bellevue. I was surprised to learn that it was in a gas station because, really, who would've known there was a Korean joint inside? Just like at a convenience store of a gas station, you order your O'BOP bowl at the counter. There is plenty of signage, indicating what O'BOP is, menu items, prices, etc... You can even ask for a free sample, which we did, and were surprised to find that the free sample is actually a small bowl with the rice, salad and noodles, in addition to the protein you're requesting of getting a sample of. I thought they would just give me a sample of the meat, but was pleasantly surprised to learn that they provide a mini version of the bowl. It's a great incentive to get people to try one of the bowls, and after doing so, we knew we one for ourselves. I got mine with the Pork, or the Po Bop. It comes with white rice, salad and sweet potato noodles, in addition to the three sauces they use. You also customize your spice preference, and it's from 1 to 10, 10 being the spiciest. I tried 8 and must say that it could've been spicier. If you're a spice fan then knock it up a notch or two! But the bowl itself was solid. The pork was juicy, tender and flavorful and loved the spicy sauce on it, even if it wasn't as spicy as I would've preferred. Of the sides - I really liked the sweet potato noodles, so would ask that they give me that instead of the rice. With that said, there was way too much rice in the bowl, which I didn't finish. And in comparison, there was not nearly enough salad in the bowl. But overall, this is a hidden gem in the Lake Hills neighborhood IN A GAS STATION! Who woulda known? Plus, if you fuel up of $10 or more for gas, all of the bowls are a dollar off. But it's cool if you don't need gas anyway because the bowls are all less than 10 bucks! I think the most expensive is the Beef Bulgogi for only $7.99! For casual, quick Korean BBQ on the go, O'BOP is worth trying. read more

I had it delivered so had no clue it was in a petrol station. But that doesn't not dissuade me. I think all the best Korean I have had in the states is from a petrol station. Portion was large. The only strange thing about this place is that it's inside an existing Shell Gas Station. If you are looking for inexpensive, good Korean BBQ, this is the place. Menu is pretty straight forward. A bowl with rice, lettuce, noodles and meat. You choose the meat, you choose the spice level. Glad I went with just 2 stars out of 10. 10 would be crazy hot. So we are in the midst of a global realization... Our governor has just mandated that we all wear masks. With that said, I used to go to this place all the time, their food is so good. I went in yesterday afternoon and the lady that took my order kept pulling her mask down away from her nose thinking that she could hear me better? Then she told the lady in the back that was sitting at the break table that she had an order. She comes out with her mask around her neck, not OK. She then proceeds to try to make my food, and I tell her you need to wear your mask. She pulls the mask over her nose, she's wearing a neck mask. I then told her that I didn't want any rice in my bowl and she slides the mask down again to answer me. By this time I'm disgusted. She proceeds to make my bowl, mask on partly but not really... I take it, and outside it goes in the trash. I don't know how I can express how serious this is. I am the head chef at a memory care facility and I can promise you that this is real. I have lost so many of my resident/friends due to this illness... Please, please mask up and be safe! You may not like to wear your cute little cloth masks, then you would hate to be on a ventilator or in my kitchen with an N 95 mask complete with respirator, face shield and hazmat suit. Worst experience of my life.  I do not advise you to approach this place.  Worst customer service and workers.  I had on rush and ordered online.  When I came and, as usual, called the name of the order, I was asked to name a certain company where I was from.  Then I realized that they meant the order app and I called it postmates.  The worker replied that they did not have it and went to the back room.  I called her to show the receipt from the app, but she refused.  Later, I asked her to check online orders by my name.  But with this she also refused.  By that time, a second employee, had come out who looked like a owner.  In my hope, I thought that she would help me in this situation.  Because the 1 employee was not friendly and only responded with a loud refusal to all my requests, how to find my order.  But the 2 woman left quiet and I was left alone with her.  After that I was offered to pay now for the food that I had already ordered.  It just pissed me off.  She didn't even look to see if my name was on the finished order.  And already she wants oi me money.  After that, I stood for some time chatting with the postmate support service.  And after a while the employee gave my order and said that it was uber eat.  I was shocked.  This terrible situation was not worth my tears, not the nerves that I spent in order to just eat.  I beg.  Go around this place!!! read more

My rating is closer to a 4.5. Very unassuming place within the Shell gas station. Orders are completed fast and food is served hot. I got the pork bulgogi and it was pretty good, on par with the typical korean restaurant. What stood out to me was their sauces. They have a white sauce and also the salty spice-oriented sauce. They were great together. For my meal I wanted to keep on the lighter side and had only the noodles. My noodles were drenched (in a good way). I love saucy things and it was like eating a Koran spaghetti. I love that stuff haha but I can see how others may not, so ordering your meal with the rice would balance out the sauciness quite well. Overall reasonable pricing (~$7 for a bowl?) and its very easy to get in and out under 5 minutes. Very clean place, just don't plan to eat there since theres no tables or anything. read more

I say this was an awesome find. My hubby and I were starving but baby was sleeping in the car. We were able to pump gas while grabbing some actual good on the go food. Yes, it's a gas station, but it's not any less credible than a food truck which they've cleverly outlined with a cut out did truck outside the store. They wouldn't print me a receipt and looked guilty for some reason, so I asked them for one. Turns out they charged extra for what I didn't order. Holy moly OK do not order the 10/10 spice level HAHA. I'm Korean and pride myself on being able to eat spice, but this definitely exceeded my ability. I would say that if you eat Korean every day this would probably be fine for you, but I couldn't eat more than 1/4 because my mouth was on fire. I was frustrated because it was really delicious! If you look over my restaurant reviews, you'll notice that it's very odd for me to eat at a gas station (umm, that probably goes for most Seattle-ites), but I had to try based on the reviews and my own curiosity.
