Their dining space is spacious and perfect for large parties. Their menu features 3 types of combos. We were advised the small size comfortably serves 2 while the large is serves 4. We opted for the small mix combo which had the prime ribeye, beef brisket, king prime short ribs, la seasoned ribs, beef tail flap, pork belly, pork jowl, pork shoulder, and seasoned boneless short ribs. We also ordered a bottle of soju to share. The meats were beautifully presented. They also served an array of banchans including onion salad and lettuce. Service was amazing. Our server always checked in and offered to change our grill pan. Pricing was on par for the meat quality and amount that came with our order. We even ended up with a couple to-go boxes. Not because it's just "better than the other dishes" but it was truly amazing, it just had a great taste to it! Soup was yummy too and came with clear noodles Proportions are to the smaller size making prices a bit high but banchans were refilled quickly. Our family took advantage of the chicken's ability to maintain their crispiness, even for carry-out. It was OK, though a little confusing. Once we settled on KFC for dinner, our hosts (daughter and son-in-law) suggested carryout from 'The Third Place', which was a little out of the way from where we were. It is the Third restaurant opened by the owner, all Seattle area locations known for her KFC (Shin Sung Korean restaurant with Underground Kitchen and the since closed Yeon's Chicken). The chicken was ordered beforehand, and because it is prepared fresh when ordered, it took a bit of time for the order to be complete. There is a limited amount of sauce choices, so we chose Honey Garlic ($23.99) and the classic Yangnyum ($23.99), both marked as Whole Chicken size. Also a side order of french fries ($7.99) completed the order. The fries were good: nice and hot, heavily battered potatoes, providing a nice amount of carbs to go with the fried chicken. The chicken came with pickled radish (chicken-mu) which for me is a must, and it was good. In terms of the chicken, they were all wings, which isn't what I expected: getting the breast and thigh pieces chopped into bite-size pieces, battered and sauced, is what makes it KFC, vs all wings which is more like a Buffalo wing restaurant. So we still got the expected 14 pieces, but they were all wings (flats and drums). I thought the sauces were fine (intentionally ordered mild), and the chicken did maintain a crunch (though not as shattering as the best we've had).

This is my favorite place to get Korean Fried Chicken, specifically the Honey Garlic Chicken. The chicken is always fried to perfection and maintains its crispness even while it's covered with sauce and surviving the drive home (takeout). Honey Garlic is my favorite flavor, but Yangnum is good as well. The Creamy Rice Cake is not your typical spicy, red Teokkbokki (although they do also have that). It's like they put rice cake in alfredo sauce with slices of fish cake and onions. The texture of the rice cake is superb! So tender and chewy. I order takeout via their website and food has always been ready by the specified time. There are street parking and lots available, but at times can be a pain to find an available spot.

DAEHO KALBIJJIM - 88.95 + mild +5.95 for mozzarella cheese Lots and lots of cheese, so if you're not a cheese person, I'd definitely skip the add-on. The portion was generous, but there wasn't as much kalbi as I expected. Instead, it was loaded with onions, carrots, and only about four rice cakes. That said, the kalbijjim itself was incredibly saucy and flavorful. Every bite became more addictive than the last, and I couldn't stop going back for more. MOOL NAENG MYUN - 21.95 A bit pricy for what it is, but we split it between four people as a refreshing side. It was gone within a few bites. The broth was tangy, icy cold, and refreshing, which contrasted perfectly to the rich kalbijjim. You really can't go wrong with this combination. Not particularly spicy or not. - imo the amount of squid for a near $20 noodle should have a little more.. 2) Daeho kabijjim + mild was good for the party as it's slightly sweet and not spicy with gochujang based sauce. Short rib was nice and tender with potatoes, onions and carrots. We chose to add noodles and cheese which they torch at the table to melt it on top. 3) Combination Suyuk + great umami and saltiness to the soup, very creamy and rich. + combination of tendon, brisket, short rib and (forget the 4th) as well as mushroom and spring onion makes it rich creamy and umami. Banchan was great, kimchi and radish are very likely homemade along with the other 3 banchans. But imo, their radish is old (overly fermented) while kimchi has a nice balance of spiciness, sweetness and tartness at first but a little sweet aftertaste. Lastly, if I'm not mistaken, I did not see any sign or note in the premise or on the menu indicating mandatory 20% tips for big party (even though I'm well aware it's normal but I believe businesses should be transparent). However when we were paying the bill, the server clearly indicated they included the 20% tips to our bill so that patrons do not "double tip" unless they wish to. So bottom line is they are quite honest on that but wished they are more transparent

For food, I ordered the mixed (seafood + beef) tofu soup which came with 4 assorted ban chan, fried fish and ceramic pot white rice. Note: there's peas on the rice. My husband ordered the combo tofu soup + protein entree, which he chose beef tofu soup and bulgogi (thinly sliced marinated beef) and it was delicious! We shared the entree since it was pretty large size. The combo also came with side dishes, rice and fried fish. It was nicely grilled, easy to eat with small bones. Ban chan was pretty unlimited with staff constantly walking around to check in and make sure you have enough side dishes to enjoy with your meal. I have to note, the service is incredible! I couldn't have had a better lunch experience than my first time at Cho Dang. Will be back soon and highly recommend to friends :)

The meals come as platters, I love how they separate everything. The bowls looked small at first but they were DEEP! We ended up sharing these two platters between three people. I ordered pick up for my last order. The signage isn't clear and when I walked in no one helped me immediately so I assumed I was in the wrong spot. I went next door and was redirected back to the correct location where they then assisted me for my pick up. One lost start for in person service - lack of attention, greeting, etc. but the food is GREAT! This restaurant looks to be shared with another adjoined location. Ve sure to check the hours for dining in.
