Side salad (shredded cabbage that you can use to make okonomiyaki at home lol)

- best spicy chicken teriyaki in town - We came here at 1 pm on a Saturday and it was quite empty. There were also two other groups dining here. We ordered beef yakisoba for $16.99 and spicy chicken teriyaki (2 stars) for $17.99 to go. They charge 10 cents for the to go plastic bag. It was ready in about 5 minutes. My husband wanted some Sriracha sauce, so I asked them if they had any. The employee told me they have it on the table, so we opened the takeout boxes and put some on his food. I guess they don't have any in small packets. The beef yakisoba was good with tons of veggies like cucumber, mushroom, and onion. My 2 stars spicy chicken teriyaki was fine but not as good as I remember it to be. It's still very good that the sauce and the teriyaki blends perfectly unlike most other places that the sauce and the teriyaki are like, separated. Basically if you drink these spicy chicken teriyaki, they'd still be spicy. If you rinse them from other places, they won't be spicy anymore. I hope that explains it better lol. Overall this place is great, and I hope it's closer to me. They have daily specials as well for a lower price, and the special today is the sweet and sour chicken.

Great sized portions. Fast service. Tasty teriyaki, not overly sweet. Great tempura mix.

Stopped in for dinner with a friend in March. He had chicken teriyaki, I got a beef teriyaki bento box. Good food.

Spicy Chicken Teriyaki

Th restaurant is a smaller one but don't let it deceive you. The spicy chicken teriyaki has got to be my favorite. Spicy level 3 is perfect amount to give a little heat. The service was quick and professional. Would highly recommend for a good bite to eat for take out. Photo attached is my half eaten spicy chicken teriyaki because I couldn't wait to eat it

Chicken katsu - amazing crunch

Best teriyaki in Puget Sound. The owners/chefs are meticulous about quality ingredients and consistent preparation. My food was in front of me literally two minutes after sitting down from getting drinks. I cannot overstate how perfectly executed their food is, the sauces alone, much less the preparation of the chicken and cabbage. TRY THIS SPOT. NUF SAID. plus they have a really good ice machine on the water cooler!

Chicken teriyaki was good and the portion pretty decent. It was ready in less than a minute for me. Enjoyed my dinner at the restaurant.

4.5, I've been to this place twice now and each time it's been pretty good. The first time I came here I didn't enjoy it as much but I decided to come for lunch yesterday and it was super good. It was super busy around noon, and the place was packed. They have a decent amount of seats, but every seat was filled. It's a small family run place, always the same workers trying their hardest. We ordered for takeout, and noticed our order was taken incorrectly. After informing them they corrected/added onto our order for free, which I really appreciated. Even with the business they had our food out hot and fresh super quickly, and it was all delicious. The katsu was just okay a little fatty, but the chicken was super flavorful and delicious. The rice was really good as well, but the portions for the prices and quality was exceptional. Overall I definitely recommend this place for some delicious teriyaki!!!!

Great teriyaki & katsu. Lots of other good stuff too! A little pricey for lunch but you get a lot of food.

Consistently good in Redmond! I really like the chicken katsu and teriyaki combo. The salad isn't the greatest, but portions are nice.

Ask the Community - Yummy Teriyaki

What's the name of the salad dressings these joints use? Does anyone know what is in them? I used to go to these places all the time as a kid, but now I live out of state and can't get any good teriyaki or teriyaki joint salad.

The base teriyaki joint salad dressing is usually 1 part sugar, 2 parts rice wine vinegar, 2 parts mayonnaise. Many teriyaki restaurants will add black poppy seeds to improve the eye appeal.

I'm usually…read morenot a fan of tonkatsu sauce, but the sauce here is the best i've had, especially if you mix it with sesame seeds they give you to bring, The sesame dressing for the cabbage is also very good. I've only gotten the standard pork katsu so far, but I imagine their other offerings likely elevate things even more. The staff here is amazing. They are nice, friendly, and very efficient at their work. All of them, not just the servers but busers, janitor, cooks, everyone. The owner and managers must be very good at selecting the right staff and training them well. As an example, when I pulled out my credit card to pay, a server was there in literally 3 seconds to present me the bill. The restaurant is very cozy and not too loud. There is often a line here, but don't let that deter you. It moves fast, and people in line seem to be having fun. This is definitely on my list of one of my favorite restaurants in the Seattle area.

First time trying the Redmond location and it was just as good (minus the wait). If it's your first time, go for the rosu or hire cutlet. I've tried the premium cuts like iberico and kurobuta, but honestly didn't find a huge difference in taste. What stands out is the texture--super crispy coating with juicy, tender pork inside. The sides and condiments are well thought out too. I'm a big fan of the tomato & cheese add-on. The curry add on, on the other hand, was too overpowering in flavor and masked the pork's natural flavor. Definitely a Seattle staple and worth checking out if you enjoy pork cutlet!

Fried Ayu/ Ayu roe, matsutake, and water bamboo are so unique and with the upmost elegant texture flavor combination. They were perfectly fried while preserving the delicacy of the food. Sashimi plate is so high quality with the best of each kind. Super sweet Hokkaido Uni, akami and toro are both packed with flavor and nice nutty fat. Kanpachi were smooth and sweet with a slight fresh crunch . Matsutake tea pot soup is very authentic and seasonal to Japanese kaiseki, I like that it does not contain a lot of soup, but a lot of matsutake. So it does not fill you up in the middle of the meal, and the soup is full of thick matsutake aroma. Nodoguro aburi is a dream come true dish completely irresistibly tender and fatty. Wagyu and matsutake sukiyaki is so good that I still keep thinking about it the next day, I do think this is the best way to cook wagyu beef. Snow crab rice, my favorite rice pot thus far with lots of ginger ,I can eat this everyday. Pumpkin cream desert has a perfect balance of creamy and sweetness. Can not think of a better ending. The restaurant itself is pretty small and intimate with about 4-5 tables and a chefs counter for seating. We did the omakase with 7 courses. We were incredibly full by the end. This is definitely not your typical omakase with nigiri after nigiri. Each dish was aesthetically beautiful, delicious, and rich with flavors. We really enjoyed the tuna sashimi pieces. They were melt in your mouth spectacular. Really cool, they made a rice dish and gave us the rest to take home as leftovers. At this point in the meal, we were soooo full. The parfait to end was delicious. Love all the yuzu flavors. Service was very professional. They even offered to put my bag in a tray. Would recommend this omakase if you're looking for something a little different!

Everything tasted absolutely incredible and incredibly fresh. If you love heat, that Hotter Than Hell roll is amazing! My only real critique here is that they serve Atlantic salmon on some of their dishes. Being right here in Washington state, you would think they would know better given where we are located and the premium prices they charge for a meal... Atmosphere & Service: The ambiance inside is wonderful, contemporary, and beautifully designed. To match the great vibe, the service was very helpful and attentive throughout our entire meal. Grabbed these items as take-out at the start of lunch rush, so there was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. There are nice and clean tables for dining in and the music playlist is fire--a ton of anime classics, jpop/jrock bands, and nostalgic Japanese song from the early 2010s. I had the salmon avocado roll which came with generous cuts of salmon avocado and rice. It was bigger than I expected.
