We stopped here for a quick lunch. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. The menu is extensive with rolls, nigiri, teriyaki, noodles, grilled veggies, and a few combos. Service was quick and friendly. I got the lunch nigiri combo which came with 5 pieces of nigiri (shrimp, tuna, albacore, yellowtail and salmon) and 8 pieces of cut roll (2 each of salmon, cucumber, albacore, and what I think was spicy yellowtail). Everything tasted fresh and was yummy. The nigiri were huge with a generous piece of fish. I really enjoyed this. My husband got the bento box which came with a chicken and steak skewer over rice, some grilled veggies, sashimi, pickled radish, and tamago. He also opted for the miso soup instead of noodle salad. He enjoyed his food and the variety. A great spot to stop in if you're looking for a quick but tasty Japanese meal. Prices were also really reasonable ($13.50 for the nigiri combo and $14.95 for the bento box).

Musashi is still one of my steady standards when visiting in Eastside Washington State. I eat here all the time. In Dec 2024, the sushi rice was a bit lifeless and hard. I was getting progressively turned off by the rice but the habit of coming here proved a bit difficult to change. During our last two visits here (July and August, 2025), the sushi rice has been excellent. I'd like to call out the seared salmon sushi. We had two pieces last night and ended up ordering three more pieces. My wife doesn't normally like salmon...but she likes the salmon here! The vibe is casual and the pricing is more than reasonable for Redmond/Eastside Washington.

Generous sushi slices, truly thick slices. Fast service. Ikura, the salmon roe, was fresh. Scallops, which are my favorite, were delicious. The fatty tuna churro was excellent seared just right. The rolls were also very tasty. We came on a Saturday evening and it was busy. Clean and well-spaces tables. We got to seat ourselves and just went up to the counter to order. There was a very busy server who is handling everything very well. Busting tables making sure we got our drinks, etc. There are two sushi chefs in the back taking care of the orders. Food came out very quickly there were several takeout orders during the time we were there. This place runs very efficiently. Maybe not the fanciest place but it certainly delivers good food and speedily!

These guy's are my absolute go to for sushi, take out or delivery. The great thing about the chirashi bowl is that you get a very large helping of fish, and then you can very easily control exactly how much rice you want to eat. I think the presentation also helps keep costs down because they truly are an affordable and excellent choice for your sushi cravings. I just happen to have a granddaughter who loves our sushi lunches together. She may only be 3 but she has the appetite of a 8 year old!! 5 stars all around, service, product and price.

Best bang for your buck sushi ever. Musashi is my go too whenever I am in Redmond. The chirashi bowl is amazing tons of fish for $ 18. Pro tip sub the shrimp for Unagi. I also love the creamy scallop and Ikura. Most of the nigiri ranges between $2-$3.

Huge portions for great value! Fish is always fresh here, and the self ordering system is fast, saves you some anxiety, and the server brings it out to you from the kitchen really fast. The atmosphere is chill and great for a cute date or a casual friend hang, because the restaurant is always clean and cozy. Love this location so much! Have been here consistently at least once every few months this year alone and the food quality never disappoints!

Im a very big fan of musashi's in factoria. This particular location has the same menu but more expensive because you can use an app to order and it's not cash only. The sushi was satisfying. Definitely well made. But more rice than needed. Also plates were dirty. Not just one but multiple. That's why I can't give 5 stars. Also the place has ZERO sound absorption and I can't hear the person next to me. They need something on the walls to absorb sound. It's too many bare walls and high ceilings which makes every clink super loud. Overall the sushi is worth it.

Not your typical sushi restaurant. Interesting concept but not for the hardcore sushi lovers that want the full experience. No service staff, seat yourself, no sushi bar, order and sit down. As a 25year sushi connoisseur, the quality of the sushi was above par. The ambiance is not for date nights but perfect for local corporate quick in and outs. Serves alcohol. Priced great among other local restaurants. Staff was friendly I would be back should I want a quick sushi meal for the price.

This is an okay place. Their food safety rating is okay from King County. Overall a decent spot for quick takeaways. Pretty sure their customers are mostly office folks who want to quickly grab the food. Service is lightning fast. The place doesn't feel super clean nor does it feel dirty. I got sushi rolls and they were kinda nice.

We love this place! Modest decoration but the Japanese food is so authentic. From someone who just came back from Japan, we highly appreciate the chef's hard work. Warm rice to go with sashimi, that's the best way to eat Japanese food. Nice service and reasonable price too! Thank you chef - although we couldn't see you in the background :)

It was the first dish that came out, so I ended up having pretty high expectations for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal did not live up to those high expectations. I ordered the unagi char siew which seemed really popular here and on Google, but it was just OK and a bit too salty for me. The wagyu udon was also just OK, but the soft boiled egg tasted like one of those preserved soft-boiled eggs you can buy pre-packaged at the store (weirdly rubbery and vinegary tasting). If I ever came back, it would probably just be for karaage and drinks. The drink pictured here is the hot chocolate hojicha, which was solid. I like their creative drink combinations and how they serve them--this one had a chocolate-covered marshmallow floating on top which was nice.

I booked about a month in advance…read morefor a 6:30pm bar seating, the $250 premium option which included A5 wagyu Filet mignon and some other high-quality choices. We were reminded by the text system a day and an hour in advance, and since it's tucked away in a plaza in Redmond, it's got plenty of parking. The only issue you may have is not knowing where the door is, because there's no big sign - the towa sign next to the doorway is smaller than the window panel in the door. When you step in, you feel a sense of quiet and calm - because that's what it is. Nori Morita (of the I love sushi group in Bellevue) runs a music-less, authentic Japanese kaiseki experience here. There's 6 seats at the counter, and maybe about 10-12 seats in the surrounding tables. It's a small space but it doesn't feel cramped. There's one all-gender bathroom and one single-stall female bathroom at the very back. Service throughout the meal was generally polite, courteous, and proactive. My water glass and the missus' tea were never left below half. They cleared each course quickly as we finished it, and the meal pacing is such that Nori can keep up with you, even if he's making all six counter dishes and all 12 table dishes at once. It's kind of like a maestro orchestra, but he has plenty of helpers - at least two wait staff, and an additional one or two sous chefs that are handling the auxiliary things around him. Food: while the meal was overall satisfying and filling, there was no standout highlight, or any particular dish that disappointed. It wasn't "meh", but it didn't really wow either the missus or I. I'm sure it'll be forgettable in a few weeks, which is the main reason for 4 stars - it's a bit more pricey than I'd expect for something this high quality. It qualifies for top 10 Omakase / Kaiseki in Seattle by nature of having high end ingredients and baseline high service quality, but those are table stakes given the competition.. The Miyazaki A5 wagyu was genuinely a decent portion size, but given that I've had it before, I guess maybe I expected a deeper flavour profile? The dish that I enjoyed the novelty the most was the Shabu Shabu king salmon - being able to eat sashimi-grade King salmon that you dip into boiling hot soup was a fun treat that definitely elevated the fattiness in the taste profile. Drinks: besides water, the missus ordered the hot hojicha tea, and I got the seasonal sake flight for $39. It was a decent selection, but it was heavily overpriced for the quality of sake and the amount you got. At most I'd expect to pay $25 for four 2oz pours, especially since one overlaps with Ltd Edition (kokuryu - black dragon). Verdict: it's lower half of the top 10 in Seattle - but it's still worth going if you want to celebrate something with high quality service and ingredients. I personally probably wouldn't do the $250 version again, but I'd be interested in doing the other ones. We both enjoyed ourselves - but idk if it's worth $700 for two people (service charge of 20% is added, plus tax...), so take that for what you will. Fun coincidence: all three couples seated at the counter when we were there were celebrating an anniversary - 11th for the farther couple, and 18th for the couple next to us. So for what it's worth - this place is definitely a destination for those that want to celebrate something.

Upon arrival, a printed menu was waiting at our table listing each course, which I thought was a thoughtful touch. In a way, I know what we would be having that evening and able to take it home as a memory of the experience. We had bar seating so we were able to watch the chef and sous chef work together throughout the service. Every dish was artfully plated with well balanced flavors. I recommend Towa for a special occasion, celebration dinner, or anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in the area.
