Amazing sushi place to try! I usually get their salmon rolls and they're always fresh and delicious. Their spicy mayo is pretty amazing as well. Definitely the best spicy mayo I've ever had. The service was good. It's self served though their kiosk but if you have any questions, the employee will help you. The sushi took a bit of time to make but it was definitely worth it! Came by for a meal before a movie at the AMC Factoria today. The space is pretty small! I was a little surprised by how small the restaurant was, so I don't recommend coming here with TOO many people. (I think total seating was 30 or less in the whole restaurant?) And their front door sadly doesn't close all the way automatically, which was rough today because it was chilly! But the food was excellent! They had a chirashi bowl for $18+ which was pretty nice value, and the fish in it was tasty (though I don't think it was the best tuna, slightly stringier). Minor gripe about their disposable chopsticks- they're the cheap, blocky ones that have splinter pieces :( Overall, a pretty nice spot for some sushi! Some of my party got rolls that looked pretty large and delicious as well, so maybe I'll be back to try those! read more

This used to be where I would go to pick up super cheap (and decent quality) sushi about 10 years ago The prices have gone up significantly since then but this place still provides the best value when it comes to dining out for sushi. I chuckle though when I see reviews here saying this place offers "authentic" sushi. No disrespect but this is a typical Korean run Japanese restaurant. I don't mean that as negative because this place is quite good for that type do restaurant. I have been to most of their other locations as well and this Bellevue one used to be a bit different in that they did not accept credit card. Now They do. You can also order delivery using Uber Eats. Prices are a lot higher via delivery though (fyi). Their rolls are good but I recommend getting the chirashi bowl (best value). Like the self service kiosk as a secondary option to ordering at the counter with friendly staff. Though place is small, it is well designed for different party sizes- from single person counter to joint 2 or 4 tops over bench. Love they always have complimentary hot tea ready to go. My first ever chirashi bowl and it was so satisfying! All the seafood paired so nicely together. I don't get sushi often, but when I do, I definitely am a salmon fan. Musashi's has some of the finest, freshest fish around and is a top recommendation for sure. This location has better spicy mayo than the Wallingford one. Plus it's in a large plaza so there's ample parking. What makes each chirashi bowl so wonderful is the ability to customize and tailor to preferences. Regardless of how many fish you specify (or get the standard bowl), it's the same amount of protein. Skipping the chirashi feels like a mistake, but honestly you can't go wrong with any item here. Chirashi Bowl with Salmon, Seared Salmon, and Roe - I always get salmon and seared salmon, but usually include other fish. Just to err on the side of caution, I skipped the tuna due to mercury awareness having had poke a few times earlier. I usually order the Chirashi bowl and the Musashi roll, which are a couple of the most popular items on the menu. Musashi's really is the loml. I frequent the Redmond location many times, but this time ended up at the Bellevue one. It may look closed on the outside, but as long as the open sign is up they're there! The inside is really small and cozy, and they have complementary tea at every table. I absolutely love dining at Musashi's as the environment is so comforting. While I typically go for the classic rolls and nigiri, this time I decided to get the Musashi roll instead. Thank you Yelp! I discovered this little gem while on Yelp liking my fellow Yelpers activity. Haven't had fresh sushi in forever! True. This sushi did not disappoint at all. It was super fresh and delish. Simple rolls cut into bite size pieces. I had the fresh salmon roll and half order of CA rolls with added avocado. Complimentary hot tea was brought immediately. A side of grilled zucchini made for a yummy light lunch. The side of ginger was an excellent palate cleanser too. I added a touch of the wasabi to the soy sauce for a mild kick. A very small place and excellent friendly service. Dining was a bit cramped and I had to take a seat facing a side wall. No worries as the wall opposite was full of posters with all sorts of activity ideas for surrounding areas. My only complaint might be that people waiting for a table stood right in front of me eating my lunch. Awkward. May ask people waiting for a table to wait elsewhere? I will be back. I was really looking forward to trying the Bellevue location, but many things didnt work out today. This location is very compact with limited seating and people line up as soon as doors are open. I got there right at 11:30am for lunch and ordered a chirashi bowl to go. Waited almost 15 minutes and I noticed that others behind me were getting their orders. I went up to cash register to find out that my order was bagged and put on the side. This is a busy place but they only have one person to cover so many things from cash register, bag to go/online orders, answer the phone and serve/clean tables! After a long wait, I was ready to enjoy the chirashi bowl. It looked great and first bite of mini scallops with roes was amazing! When I was about to move onto yellowtail, I found a small piece of black hair ont the second piece of sashimi. I can't believe I haven't written a review for Musashi's yet! I have been coming here for the past 10+ years! I usually get their chirashi bowl - I like customizing them with more salmon and/or hamachi and no tuna or unagi, but you can pretty much customize it however you like! Fish quality here isn't the BEST (don't expect omakase cuts) but it's usually pretty good and my sushi craving gets satisfied at a decent price. Rolls and other stuff I've tried like the grilled salmon kama or hamachi kama have been pretty good too. Service is always quick whether you're dining in or taking out. The restaurant is small though so expect a wait during peak dining hours. No reservations. There's a huge parking lot for the Factoria Village where Musashi's is located, so parking is never an issue. When we saw how small the inside was, we were hesitant because we have a baby with us and there was no waiting area. One of the servers cared to actually tell us that it would only be a 5-10 minute wait as we were about to walk back to our car. Really liked the system that they have going on here. We paid for our order at the register right away and got seated. The server taking our order was very courteous and our food came out right away. Our server was also very attentive to our needs. Food was great! I loved my order and even thought that the price was affordable considering the great quality of the seafood. Overall, highly recommend this place!
