    Chirashi Bowl Special
    Timothy H.

Amazing sushi place to try! I usually get their salmon rolls and they're always fresh and delicious. Their spicy mayo is pretty amazing as well. Definitely the best spicy mayo I've ever had. The service was good. It's self served though their kiosk but if you have any questions, the employee will help you. The sushi took a bit of time to make but it was definitely worth it! The ambiance was nice! It was clean and organized and I liked how they decorated the shop. The seating can be limited during rush hour though.

This used to be where I would go to pick up super cheap (and decent quality) sushi about 10 years ago The prices have gone up significantly since then but this place still provides the best value when it comes to dining out for sushi. I chuckle though when I see reviews here saying this place offers "authentic" sushi. No disrespect but this is a typical Korean run Japanese restaurant. I don't mean that as negative because this place is quite good for that type do restaurant. I have been to most of their other locations as well and this Bellevue one used to be a bit different in that they did not accept credit card. Now They do. You can also order delivery using Uber Eats. Prices are a lot higher via delivery though (fyi). Their rolls are good but I recommend getting the chirashi bowl (best value). Their kama is also surprisingly good as well.

My go to for fresh, not-splurging, sushi fix! Usually we have it to go but decided to eat in since they have renovated a while back. Like the self service kiosk as a secondary option to ordering at the counter with friendly staff. Though place is small, it is well designed for different party sizes- from single person counter to joint 2 or 4 tops over bench. Love they always have complimentary hot tea ready to go. Very efficient operation. Had the bento box, always a great value and most importantly tasty. The fatty tuna nigiri was delicious. Tried the grilled spring onions, simple, tasty and refreshing and my favorite of all time- grilled yellowtail collar Hamachi Kama. So satisfying and filling. The citrus soy sauce is perfect with rice.

My first ever chirashi bowl and it was so satisfying! All the seafood paired so nicely together. I don't get sushi often, but when I do, I definitely am a salmon fan. This bowl's salmon was also my favorite, and I was so sad when it was over. Definitely more of a casual eatery- you place your order at the kiosk in the front and seat yourself. There is hot tea at each table and soy sauce. Worth a visit :3

I'm back. For probably the 500th time. Crazy to believe the last review I did for Musashi's was 9 years ago! The service is still stellar. Options are tried and true. There really is nothing more to say. I will be continually supporting this biz and am so happy to see they're doing well. Hands down best bang for buck sushi in Seattle.

Musashi's has some of the finest, freshest fish around and is a top recommendation for sure. This location has better spicy mayo than the Wallingford one. Plus it's in a large plaza so there's ample parking. What makes each chirashi bowl so wonderful is the ability to customize and tailor to preferences. Regardless of how many fish you specify (or get the standard bowl), it's the same amount of protein. Skipping the chirashi feels like a mistake, but honestly you can't go wrong with any item here. Chirashi Bowl with Salmon, Seared Salmon, and Roe - I always get salmon and seared salmon, but usually include other fish. Just to err on the side of caution, I skipped the tuna due to mercury awareness having had poke a few times earlier. However, I think this puts into perspective how custom and beautiful each bowl can be. Salmon is so fatty and thick and the spicy mayo is magical.

    Musashi Roll and Chirashi Bowl

One of my all time local favorites! Been dining here for the last decade, and the quality and freshness never disappoints. I usually order the Chirashi bowl and the Musashi roll, which are a couple of the most popular items on the menu. The chirashi bowl comes with a variety of fish, and the quality always taste top notch. The Musashi roll is a california roll topped with spicy tuna and spicy mayo, which makes it so delicious and more filling. Both items have such good portions for the price. The service is quick and efficient. You just order up at the front and sit down at a table, so it's pretty straight forward. I enjoy the cozy ambience but there is very limited seating. I will continue dining here whenever I want to get a chirashi fix in!

Wow!! The salmon is SO good here. I was surprised to see how big the salmon is on the nigiri. It tasted really fresh and good. It's the perfect fish to rice ratio in my opinion. The chirashi bowl is also worth it. We ordered a side of noodle salad and beef skewer, those were good too. However the rolls were just ok, they were my least favorite so I wouldn't order the rolls. I would come here again just for the salmon nigiri!! The seating area is a bit small. I wish there was an area to grab utensils and napkins, as there were none on the table when food arrived.

Musashi's really is the loml. I frequent the Redmond location many times, but this time ended up at the Bellevue one. It may look closed on the outside, but as long as the open sign is up they're there! The inside is really small and cozy, and they have complementary tea at every table. I absolutely love dining at Musashi's as the environment is so comforting. While I typically go for the classic rolls and nigiri, this time I decided to get the Musashi roll instead. It was gigantic and extremely value for the price. I loved the abundance of spicy tuna and spicy mayo, and the fish eggs added such good flavor to it. The rice was cooked perfectly as well, and this roll was absolutely delicious. I'll always be the biggest fan of Musashi's!

Is it 2007 cause the quality and prices are off the charts. It's a small space well laid out for seating with polite staff and amazing food. This may be my new spot. I can't believe what I was able to order without breaking the bank. So good!

    Daniel G.

We stopped in on our trip through Seattle. It's a neat concept where you can order on the screen or sit and scan at the table to order on your phone. Sushi and food was good and pricing was affordable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We all smelled like fried food after leaving which we didn't like though.

Such a big fan of musashi's chirashi bowl! I went here with my friend to celebrate my birthday and I was delighted to have this yummy and generous bowl of beautifully cut fish for my birthday! The fish is fresh and plentiful and oh so buttery. It truly melts in my mouth. It's also one of the more affordable chirashi bowls as well! I loved getting a side of miso soup to pair with my bowl. All in all a cute and casual place to get affordable sushi in Factoria. The service is also quick and professional too. I would highly recommend!

Lunch Nigiri with side Uni(sea urchin)
    Deb K.

Came for late lunch so we got a table quickly. You order at the kiosk so if you don't know what you want and someone is waiting behind you, you may want to let them go first. Uni was good but the nori was very chewy so difficult to eat. The nigiri set was okay. I've had better. Hubby had sukiyaki which he said was pretty good. He also had a side of shrimp tempura that he felt needed the sauce or dip to give it flavor. Overall a decent meal for $50 including tax and tip. Service was the best part of the meal as the guy was really friendly.

The fries were crispy with a nice earthy-with-a-kick Indian masala flavor! Not much of a dine-in experience just so you know. Its more of a pick up joint. This was on a Friday night at almost 6pm and my friend and I came in to a nearly empty interior that filled up throughout our stay. Is it just dinnertime that time or were my friend and I bringing in the crowds? You'll enjoy a very clean and well-kept restaurant with clean tables and chairs, with lighting that's very little but lights up the whole place well. Menu has a lot of offerings (both regular and vegetarian) but since it's dinnertime I decided on a rice dish as usual. I got their beef short ribs rice dish, which has their usual marinated short ribs with a fried egg and veggies. I actually liked how they offered their rice in a separate bowl, and everything else on one plate... which means the meat almost covered my whole plate! By the way, my friend got their grilled pork chop rice dish, and the meat also almost completely covered his plate. Both our meats were marinated so well and held in so much flavor, and came off their bones easily. We both agreed the grilled beef short rib dish I ordered was the winner because of the bolder and more defined marinated taste of the meat. I've tried so many Vietnamese restaurants and almost exclusively get their beef short ribs rice on the first visits of them, but this is the first time I've seen meat portions this huge for a rice dish. I'm thinking of coming back here for another visit even if I have to deal with the tight parking plaza this place is close to.

Although it was pretty busy inside, we were able to be seated in about 10 minutes, which was great for a last minute decision for Shabu Shabu. I haven't done many Shabu Shabu places, but this one is a bit different since you get a set of vegetables and meat rather than ordering multiple rounds. The quality of the meat and vegetables, in my opinion, was much higher compared to those places where you're able to get multiple rounds of meat or select your own vegetables/sides. The broth (I had kombu) was pretty light, so it wasn't the best. The service was pretty friendly and the only fault to them was they didn't come around to refill our pots with hot water. It's a very cute Japanese restaurant, with very patient staff who answered all our questions. (Thank you for doing that). Tha takoyaki was pretty good but if it memory serves I believe it was over $10. It wasn't too mushy and it was well-flavored. The salad was worth its price. It was very small. The dressing was pretty good, not too overpowering of sesame. The crunchy tuna rice was really good (I really like crunchy rice) but it felt over priced. This could honestly be made at home. The shabu shabu was very impressive. I got the sukiyaki shabu shabu, which I think had the most flavor out of the ones my family got (spicy miso and original). The ponzu and nut sauce that comes with the dish is delicious as always, and the meat was really fun to cook. If you don't know, it is called "Shabu shabu" because you swipe the meat back and forth and by the time u finish talking it's cooked! We got the Americans wagyu, beef, park belly, and pork.
