Wow I was surprised by the big portions and and affordable prices! I got the classic with wasabi mayo, nori fries, and tonkatsu bites. The tonkatsu was very crispy, very generous portion sizes!!, and came with a dipping sauce. The curry sauce was a little strong but was good with the nuggets. Katsu Burger is one of our favorite place! The parking lot sucks, minimal space, and spaces are small, but the food is always on point. 4 tables that seats 4 people each. The space is small but it doesn't bother us at all. The milk shake is good. Fries are amazing. And their sauces are all so good. You really can't go wrong with any of the katsu burger, but we do prefer the chicken katsu patty vs the others. That's just our preference. My friend likes the beef. You can't go wrong either way! Loved the crispness of the tofu, crunchy veggies and the sweet and salty flavors oozing from the sauce. The Kanna Akuma is for folks who like it spicy-- there's a lot of jalapeños so beware! The fries were crispy with a nice earthy-with-a-kick Indian masala flavor! Not much of a dine-in experience just so you know. Its more of a pick up joint. A much needed update to my original review. This restaurant has not been here for more than 10 years! I can't believe it has been that long. I gotta say how consistent they have been over the last decade. I do not recommend dining in here, as the place is super tiny and the dining area is not always bussed and cleaned timely, but I recommend takeout and delivery orders. Huge portions, decent price for what you get, and they are quite quick! Today I ordered the Wabi Wasabi Burger and while it was excellent, the wasabi was quite overpowering. If you do not like Wasabi, DO NOT order it. Otherwise the katsu was cooked to perfection and the burger was assembled and wrapped perfectly. A katsu burger sounds intriguing, but burgers breaded then deep-fried don't beat flame-broiled, smash, nor even ordinary burgers. Maybe katsu burgers do better without the bun, or even half-bun open-face, where the batter and panko serves as breading. Color me unimpressed. The digital self-serve order terminal failed to lock-in my wasabi burger, so further down selecting Japanese mayo overrode the wasabi mayo, and left me paying $12.68 for a wasabi-less wasabi burger. I ought have instead for a dollar less chosen their regular katsu burger and clicked to add wasabi mayo. To avoid such mistakes, customers would need to know the wasabi comes in the mayo, or the terminal must warn or lock-out this override. I hope my experience leaves others smarter. The tiny seating area has space for only four tables. Of course, places in Tokyo have similar or even less space, but such comparison is wrong. This is Eastside, not Tokyo. What Tokyo gets right and Eastside wrong suggests a remedy. More space gets devoted to car storage than for eating. Given commercial land near Factoria costs $16 to 20 per square minimum, and their shared parking amounts to 16 500ft², the burden to tenants there for that land totals at least $225 000 annually, distributed as rents and thus overhead to all products, compared to storefronts without car storage. The burger is very tall. The buns are okay, slightly dry but holds it's shape. The patty is fried on the outside so does has a little bit of crisp on the outside. Inside is ground beef patty taste, so not quite a battered katsu. The sauces and veggies are a good complement to the fried patty. Overall decent and very filling. I got the combo with a soda and fries. Picked the nori fries which were good. Have the subtle seaweed seasoning, and fries were crispy enough. Lucky for me I just made it in time before more people showed up. I did dine-in and it was packed. I also noticed when the worker would bring in other people's food they had to squeeze themselves in. Unfortunately I went down one star mostly to the fact that it is a tiny little spot with not much space and seating for customer flow as I got trapped in the corner. Update: tried this place again a few times in 2025 - 2026. Health Inspection score has increased to "Excellent" since 2017. First visit back: all is well, did app pickup so service was not an issue. Pork classic tasted good, didn't order fries. Second and third visit: a lot of shrinkage. The amount of meat in the Tokyo tower now is probably less than what the pork classic used to have when the Georgetown location opened, i.e. more than 50% shrunk. I can understand price increases due to inflation but the burger is way too small now. Would rather have higher price and decent amount of meat. read more

There are many options to suit your taste, beef, pork, chicken and choice of fries to go accompany the burger. It is made to order so it takes a few minutes to prepare, but the results are worth the wait. The shop is very small as is the parking lot, but the next block has a huge parking lot, so parking should not be a problem. There are a few tables, but it looks like a lot of the customers are getting the food to go. This is a great little burger for something with a Japanese fast food twist. No matter how many times I come to this place, I never leave disappointed. I feel like the chef is very consistent and love that fact. The place is tiny hidden in the small shopping center. While their burger is amazing, there are a few things you need to know. 1. The place does not accept cash 2. They have a self-ordering kiosk and you will need to order online, through Yelp or the kiosk - I do have to say that I had trouble recently ordering through Yelp and the prices are different. I know it's not from my end but just thought I would call out that part. 3. There are only 4 tables available for customers which seats about 12 people total so if you come around lunchtime, good luck finding a seat. 4. On there wall behind the kiosks they do have any seasonal special burgers that they are trying. The traditional menu is on the boards above. It is a small premise and so space is limited and the four tables fill quickly. Overall I see this as one of the must-visit food places on the Eastside. This place was on my friend's list when we visited from the east coast. They're pretty bare bones: basic tables and iPad ordering setup. However, what the front of the house doesn't show is the high quality going on in the back of the house. I got the honey tofu burger and it was DELICIOUS. It came out in a timely manner and was fresh off the stove. The teriyaki chicken burgers are apparently also really good as my group also got those, but they fawned over my honey tofu burger so I'm guessing it was a winner. I also noticed many customers ordered a wasabi coleslaw-y salad. One of my friends got it and I have to say they did a great job making sure it wasn't overwhelmingly wasabi, but definitely tinged with the wasabi spectrum. I got my food expecting to take half of it away since it was a pretty sizable burger, but I ended up consuming all but two bites that were inhaled by my friends.
