Great place to get convenient sushi around Bellevue. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Overall I highly recommend and would come back!
This was our first time trying a sushi per lb place and I was a little skeptical going in, but it actually worked really well. The portions were really good and decent for what you're paying, which isn't always the case with concepts like this. Overall such an interesting idea and it definitely delivered for the price. Would come back to try more rolls next time.
This is a pay-by-weight sushi bar and BYO poke bowl. I came here on a Saturday (July 4th) and the line was super long. You grab a box and grab your sushi & weigh. They are great at replenishing all the sushi options. I got over a pound of sushi for about $20 ($16.99 a pound) - I could barely finish! The Poke Bar and the Sushi Bar are next to each other. There is no seating inside but it's located on the ground floor of an Amazon building where there are tables.
Man, I loved FOB Sushi the last time I was in Seattle. But this time, it just wasn't a good as I remembered. The rice with each bite tasted like it had been out for a while. Which is odd, because I did grab some pieces that were just set out. We went during dinner time, but last time I went it was during dinner time too. They had a solid selection though and I was filled after eating it. Parking is definitely a struggle, but like everyone is saying it's not the restaurants fault. Overall, I enjoyed it but I won't be craving it again.
Was craving poke and so I decided to try it here. It's been a long time since i had their poke but it still as good as I remember. They give you a lot of food for the price. I think mostly people come for the sushi but the poke is as fresh and good quality. Service is good and the place is a little busy but there's plenty of seatings. I got the large bowl and it fed both me and my husband.
The sushi lover in me felt like she was at a candy store when I walked in. The selection can get a little overwhelming especially since it gets so busy quickly and people behind you are also waiting for you to make your selection. But the fact that there are choices including poke bowls make this place amazing - to be a one-stop shop for all your sushi or poke bowl cravings. This spot being in the busy part of Bellevue, parking is not the easiest but it's worth the drive. The quality of fish and other ingredients + the price make FOB Poke Bar very competitive. My sister makes it a tradition to take us whenever we visit the west side from Spokane and it's a tradition we'll keep for sure.
Still as good as I remember it. Good value. Fast. Clean. If you're in Bellevue and looking for a quick bite this is it.

Randomly stopped here for lunch on our way to Vancouver bc. Gotta say exceeded all my expectations. This to go sushi spot with a decent amount of seating in a shared space. They have a ton of selection and the line moves very fast. Wish there was something like this in Portland would definitely come back everything was so tasty I got pretty much one of everything
It was a mom and daughter day when we decided to try out this joint. Now this is Bellevue, in the city, so parking was not the easiest. We got in and all was easy. It'slocated on the lower level of the building. A lil dim in the place. Can we talk about the rolls because they were huge and the variety AMAZING. I've been to the Seattle location and the rolls were much smaller and limited variety. The staff here were nice and helpful. They stayed on top of any mess left behind. I'm coming back!!!!! Yummzy!!!
FOB Poke Bar is a gem! I love this concept so much and wish we had something like this in the Bay Area. We visited for a late Wednesday lunch when they weren't too busy. I imagine this place gets packed during peak hours though! They had a poke area but we went straight for the sushi. Basically, you take a box and tongs and fill your box with any sushi variety you want - signature rolls, aburi sushi, nigiri, sashimi, inari, etc. The selection was incredible and I LOVED the ability to mix and match. At the end, you just pay based on weight and pricing was very reasonable. The aburi sushi was my favorite (because I'm generally obsessed with it) but I was impressed with every single item. The interior had plenty of seating as well, with a chill, laid-back ambiance. FOB couldn't be more perfect for a quick, delicious meal!
$14.99/lbs sushi and it was surprisingly delicious! They also have self serve sauce, water and other utensils. Service is great and there are tables for casual dining.
The food here is delicious, but whenever I come here with my child, I can't let him sit on the couches or chairs because they are very dirty and covered in stains. I'm worried about getting his clean clothes dirty. I would really appreciate it if you could please pay attention to this issue and address it as soon as possible. We really enjoy coming here and having the food, and we would love to continue visiting.

This spot quickly became my go-to for fresh sushi and poke. The selection is fantastic, and everything tastes incredibly flavorful. I'm obsessed with their eel items -- perfectly glazed, tender and packed with rich umami. The lobster meat sushi rolls are another standout; sweet, generous chunks of lobster in every bite. Don't skip the egg-wrapped rolls! They are stuffed overflowing with fillings, super satisfying. What I love most is that you can get poke and assorted seafood by weight, so you can build your ideal spread and pick exactly what you crave. All fish tastes fresh, no fishy aftertaste. Great for assembling a sushi & poke feast to dine in or take home. Highly recommend for any raw seafood lover. I will absolutely be coming back to try more menu items! read more

FOB has been all over my fyp, so it was about time I checked out what the hype was all about! It's basically a build your own sushi box! They have a wide selection of nigiri, specialty rolls, and inari. Everything looked very thoughtfully curated. Loved all the variety of toppings and displays. You pay by the pound and my custom box came out to be just over $20. Honestly, a steal for this amount of food, variety, and quality! Of everything that I tried, I'd definitely say that the nigiri was my favorite. A great spot for some quick, quality, and customizable sushi! read more

The food here is delicious, but whenever I come here with my child, I can't let him sit on the couches or chairs because they are very dirty and covered in stains. I'm worried about getting his clean clothes dirty. I would really appreciate it if you could please pay attention to this issue and address it as soon as possible. Love the idea. Love the execution. I ordered sushi by the pound. The selection of rolls, inari, gunkan, and ngiri was robust. I tried to restrain myself but I did end up getting about 10 pieces of this and that. The fish quality impressed, especially in a buffet setting. At $15 per pound, my lunch set me back about $20, and I was stuffed. My wife was happy with her poke bowl. Pro tip for the vegetarians, the bowls are only about $12 if you opt out of protein scoops, and you get unlimited toppings which include tofu. Obviously geared towards office workers, we were the only family there. Be warned, there are no good parking options. read more

located in an amazon building, fob poke & sushi bar is an assuming spot at the lower lobby level. the fish quality is good and there are many types of rolls and nigiri to choose from. i wish there were more carpaccio style items! service was standard, there were constantly workers restocking the sushi. expect lines especially on weekdays during lunch - those are peak hours. my plate amounted to 0.9 lbs which came to $15.87 with tax. i like how you can just choose one of each roll and mix and match! i would definitely recommend fob sushi and come back if i'm in the area! read more

Great dining experience at FOB Poke Bar. We really enjoyed all the different sushi selections and the staff were very helpful with letting me know the non spicy options, since I'm unable to eat spicy foods. The line moved quickly as well. I also ordered Miso Soup with was filled with seaweed and large pieces of tofu-SO good! All of the fish and the tobiko were delicious and very fresh tasting, though the texture of the ahi sashimi and albacore nigiri made it clear the fish had been frozen and thawed. For me, the rice was the perfect texture and flavor. I also loved the flavor of the Poke. I'll look forward to dining there again. The one thing I didn't like much is that the "sneeze shield" over the buffet seemed a bit higher than I'd personally prefer. FOB Poke Bar -- this concept just works. The moment we walked in, I knew I was going to love it. On one side: build-your-own poke. On the other: self-serve nigiri priced by weight. It's streamlined, visually appealing, and dangerously easy to over-order. The space is sleek and clean, with a help-yourself pickled ginger and soy sauce station. The fish looked incredibly fresh and yes, yellowtail is available for poke (which immediately earned points with me). We ordered one regular and one large poke bowl, both with yellowtail only because that's our vibe. I chose spring mix as my base with FOB's ponzu-based sauce and a light drizzle of spicy mayo. Our poke bowls were thoughtfully assembled. Then we headed to the nigiri side and selected 14 pieces -- tuna, yellowtail, scallop, and eel. The nigiri were vibrant and beautifully prepared. By the time we reached the cashier with our nigiri box, our poke bowls were already waiting there for us. The entire flow felt efficient with zero chaos. The dining area was full, so we took everything back to the hotel and wow. The fish was buttery, fresh, and truly melt-in-your-mouth. Every bite tasted clean and high quality. This easily ranks as one of my favorite sushi/poke experiences. If they opened one near me, I'd definitely be a frequent customer. Next time I'm in WA, this is absolutely a repeat stop. read more
- Good Variety and Delicious Rolls - This was actually my first time ordering the nigiri sushi and rolls by weight here. Previously, there had been a health issue from an influencer's video, and at the time I wasn't in a position to take any risks. We came in on a Thursday evening, and there were tons of people dining in the outdoor seating area--which was new, because when the place only served poke, it was usually empty. There were only two guys ordering sushi rolls when we arrived, so it was fairly quiet. We grabbed a larger box to share and filled it with a variety of rolls and some nigiri. The price was $14.99 per pound, and our total came to $43.61. we skipped some, but I think we grabbed more than 2/3 of the rolls/nigiris there. We didn't take any extras, but there were utensils and condiments by the door. Since the rolls are huge, we only took one of each and cut them in half to share. The food was delicious overall, though many of the rolls were fairly similar and used the same sauce. I especially enjoyed the yellowtail and squid nigiri more than the rest. Overall, it's a solid option for sushi, and we actually like it better than Kura Sushi or the sushi trays from T&T. After we finished ordering, a lot of families with kids came in and a line quickly formed. Timing definitely matters here, or you might end up waiting for a while. read more

Excellent selection of decently priced sushi! I love the concept of grabbing the rolls yourself, since it lets you curate your selection according to your own personal taste. They keep the area clean and sushi stocked! The staff are very kind and welcoming. The line moves fairly quick but if you are overwhelmed with the endless options, it might take a little longer. The have plenty of seating in the building. Love how you grab your sushi box + tongs and start adding the goodies into your box. Each sushi is clearly labeled and looks so yummy - a good presentation. They have a little bit of everything. Raw sushi, cooked sushi, classic rolls, inari, etc. once you're done, you weigh your box on the scale for the final pricing. read more
We came mainly for the sushi and were very impressed with the quality of the food. Food: Salmon Belly (4.5/5): Thick, tender, and excellent. One of the best bites of the meal. Seared Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Avocado, Garlic, Chili, and Spicy Mayo: (4.5/5) Great mix of flavors. Rich, savory, and very satisfying. Mango Corn Salad Inari (5/5): Well stuffed, savory, and delicious. A standout item. Seared Salmon Nigiri (5/5): Excellent quality and very fresh tasting. Salmon and Tuna Inari (4.5/5): Well stuffed with a good balance of flavors. Salmon Sake Inari (4/5): Good, but not quite as memorable as the others. Service: Very much like a cafeteria line, including weighing the food at the end. Staff was efficient and kept things moving. Ambiance: Feels more like a takeout poke bar than a sit down restaurant. The poke line was much longer than the sushi line, with about 20 to 25 people ahead of us. There are tables outside, but the condiment and utensil station was messy, with spicy mayo splashed on the floor. The food definitely made up for it. Overall, the food quality was excellent and worth the visit, even if the setup is more grab and go than dine in. read more
Marvelous. I was a bit confused as to where it was but once I saw a long line, I knew I was close. I thought it wouldn't be busy since it was on a weekday after 5pm but nope. The line was out the door. I don't know if that's the usual. There were a few tables inside but I liked that you can eat at the lobby too. Once you're inside, you can choose from a poke bowl or sushi. It seems like the sushi was the hot item. It's bright and clean there. The selection was good. I left with a big box of sushi. It was about $30 without tip. You pay by Pound -$14.99. I can see why it's so popular - good selection, clean, and relatively fast. No nonsense sushi. read more

I came back for the 20% anniversary discount and it was so crowded! I waited in line for maybe 50 minutes before getting my food. Service is still the same. Workers are helpful, though it's hard to hear them. Food was just as good -- the seared salmon is definitely my favorite. It was fatty with good flavor. I'd come back, but only if the wait isn't long. A very affordable option in Bellevue! read more

FOB Poke Bar is a really good spot for takeout sushi. It's on the bottom floor of an Amazon building so if you go during the week, expect a long line at lunch time and hoards of busy tech professionals. Post 1pm things open up. Parking is terrible because it is shared with employees. I must have looped down 7 floors. $15 for 2 hours.... Park elsewhere if you go. It's sushi by the pound so expect a cafeteria style line. You pick up your container, your tray, order your sushi and you're done. It's a very efficient operation and the sushi quality and variety is quite good. I'd definitely recommend for takeout as seating is pretty limited and in an atrium styled area at the bottom of stairs. read more
Haven't tried the poke here, but I have gotten a hearty amount of sushi the past few times coming here. They have a good variety of rolls and nigiri and always seem to be switching them out for fresher sushi plates. You get different sized boxes to fill the sushi with and you pay by the pound here. I can never tell if I should grab a drink from the fridge first or grab it as I pay, but you can always opt to just get water from their dispenser which is free. Seating is a bit sparse, but there are tables and seats in the lobby area of the building. Also still pretty limited, so you may need to be a bit creative on making a spot for yourself to eat out. Wasabi and utensils are provided where the water dispenser is, so most of that stuff you can hep yourself to. Definitely one of the more affordable places to get sushi nowadays since most dine-in spots have been increasing their prices. Highly recommend FOB. read more
I love both of the Fob sushi locations we have available to us in Washington. This area is in downtown Bellevue so very hard to find parking (there is an unloading zone across the street that people seem to stop by to grab quick orders though). I sent my husband inside while I waited in the car and even at 3:45 P.M., there was a little line. Everything was fresh as usual and he mentioned that there was a lot more seating available than the Seattle location. Everything is always fresh and tasty, and they constantly refill/replace the sushi. I feel the quality is very good and love the fast casual experience. read more
first time coming here and i liked the sushi, but its a bit unsanitary with it being self-serve. some kid was touching all the sushi rolls in the front and the workers didn't even say anything lolll. i just grabbed ones from the middle and the workers were fast with refilling. $15.99/pound! parking can be tough and there was a 30ish min line around dinner time. read more

Surprisingly never been to the sushi bar since they opened in Seattle but visited the poke bar a couple times way before they innovated. For $15 a pound, it's a solid deal for the average person. Quality is obviously above most all you can eat spots (arguably equal to some), though they pack on the rice and sodium. Also offering torched sushi (aburi style) is a nice touch, as not many spots around here offer it. It's nice that they're constantly restocking and refilling pieces that get taken but it can be annoying. Hard to strike the balance when the shop is busy, but when it's less busy, there's an opportunity to restock areas where customers aren't trying to grab sushi. I will say, there are thick cuts of tuna tartare at the end of the line with no rice. Then again, it's at the end, so boxes are close to full if not full. It's smart because I would've been inclined to fill most of my box with that tuna. Only tried one piece and while overly salty, the tuna was meaty and had good taste. read more

The chairs are dirty, and the couches are extremely dirty. They don't seem to clean them at all, and the tables are dirty as well. The food is not bad, but overall, the lack of cleanliness really ruins the experience. I strongly recommend that the owners pay attention to the condition of the chairs and couches because they look terrible and are very unpleasant to sit on. read more
Amazing value pay-by-the-pound sushi. Each piece is substantial. My favorites were seared salmon nigiri (top right) and seared salmon inari with ikura (bottom left). The day I went spicy tuna was just okay. Service is efficient and the lines move fast. Plenty of casual seating for a quick bite. read more
TLDR: Good built your own poke bowl spot located in walking distance from downtown / pike place. Big menu with lots of bases and toppings but I wish there were more protein options. Good value for downtown Seattle area Food: The menu here is large and contains many different bases, proteins, and toppings. You're able to choose 2 or 3 proteins (medium or large) and sauces + toppings are free to choose from. They have a unique base called FOB rice which is a coconut & green tea infused jasmine rice. I personally got half FOB rice and half spring mix. They give you good size scoops of everything from base to topping. I do wish they had pre-marinated options for protein (ex. spicy mayo tuna, etc.) Service: The staff was very friendly and patient as we chose from the large selection of toppings. I did not feel rushed to make choices and the staff was helpful in answering all of my questions Price: The regular (2 scoop) is 14.99 and the large (3 scoop) is 17.99. For downtown Seattle I would say its a good value for what you get Ambiance: The space is on the small side which is fine since it's mostly a grab and go spot.
