Seared salmon for daysss. I love seared salmon nigiri, especially with some spice to it and thankfully, Mix Sushi Bar in Crossroads has my back. It's definitely worth trying if you like seared salmon. Mix Sushi Bar is one of the food court options at Crossroads Shopping Center, so is easy to find, with plenty of seating around. The menu is large, with different bowls, nigiri, sushi combinations, etc. You order on the touchscreen and the food is made when ordered, which doesn't take long. But it is a popular spot as Mix Sushi Bar does get a lot of takeout orders. The spicy seared salmon nigiri is my favorite item. You don't even need to dip it in soy sauce and wasabi because it's already so flavorful. But if you're craving something else raw, Mix Sushi Bar has it. They also have a seared nigiri combo, with salmon, tuna and eel. For solid sushi that you can get on the go, Mix Sushi Bar is a good option, especially if you're in the Crossroads area of Bellevue.

erm i regret buying this despite the fact that i came here bc i was badly craving raw fish. i should've just gotten Dick's. paid a whopping $18 before tax/tip for literally just poke marinated in JUST SESAME OIL LOL with a miniscule amount of onion and cucumber + tamago and ginger. THATS IT. U need to pay extra ($1-2 EACH) for additional toppings. It's not even good, well marinated hawaiian style poke. This shit was BAD. Like obviously i am not expecting much from a food center grab n go sushi place but come ON like im still hungry but it was so bad i didn't want to eat another bite after filling my stomach up. my friends said they could smell the sesame oil from across the table. 2 stars bc quantity was fine

$22 for 10 pieces of seared salmon seems like a good price, but the pieces aren't that substantial. Flavors and texture were good.

Crossroads food court used to be the move when you wanted something quick and cheap that barely qualified as food. Mix sushi bar is not that at all. The seared salmon combo bowl had several pieces of fatty seared tuna that just melted in my mouth. The bowl came with a nice big scoop of salmon poke as well, with some tamago to round it out. The rice and salad mix half and half base felt light but also filling. $21 so not cheap but pretty well worth it. As far as mall food courts go this is fancier/better quality than you will find most places.

This hidden gem deserves 5 stars! The mix sushi bar is fantastic...fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite shows care and quality, making it a must-try for sushi lovers.

I had to check out this place after hearing about the delicious seared salmon. Honestly, I thought it was just okay -- it didn't blow my mind, but I was happy with my meal. Service is pretty fast and you can also rack up rewards points if you come often. Seared salmon nigiri -- 8/10. This was tasty, but I wish the fish was slightly thicker to match the rice ratio. The salmon was super fatty/oily which made it delicious Salmon inari -- 7/10. Super standard inari. It needed a little more seasoning, but I thought the price was good.

I've been here a few years back when it was called Sushi J. Since the new name, Mix Sushi Bar delivers high quality delicious sushi! Mostly everyone on here has praised high on their seared salmon and they're not wrong! They have the seared salmon bowl and rolls. When it was Sushi J, I remembered getting the seared salmon bowl and it was define! I went back last Tuesday with my mom and we loved their seared salmon rolls. 10 rolls for $20 ... that's up there in price but worth it in my eyes. Their other items look so good! Gonna be back soon! The service is also delightful! They had served waters with our meal and all the utensils and napkins, including soy sauce :)

Seared salmon! That's really all you need to know. If anyone remembers Sushi J, MIX Sushi Bar recently took over its spot in the Crossroads food court, sporting an almost identical menu with some additional offerings. Simply order at the kiosk and they'll text and call out your number when ready. For every $50 spent, you earn $5 off your next order, which is a pretty good deal since you can obtain this reward relatively quickly. For $20, their 10-piece SEARED SALMON can be ordered regular, spicy or half of each. I always go with half of each and every bite is true bliss. The salmon is lightly torched on top giving it a delicious smoky flavor while having a silky smooth texture underneath. It's topped with a drizzle of creamy sauce, a light soy glaze and chopped green onion. The spicy version is sprinkled with a chili seasoning (Shichimi Togarashi) that gives it an extra oomph and noticeable heat. My companions and I have grabbed food here multiple times and would also consider the following to be highlights: * California Roll (generously sized) * MIX Roll (a California Roll topped with seared salmon) * Seared Combo (salmon, tamago & unagi) * Sushi Combo (14 pieces, mainly a nigiri assortment) All the items that we've tried look exactly as advertised in the photos along their wall and the containers are always packed so nicely. It's rare that I return to a spot again and again for the same item, but I just can't stray from their seared salmon. It's THAT good!

Solid, easy, fast casual in a food court. Would come again. Presentation was great. Fast and polite service. A slay!

Many Eastside diners are fans of the Sushi J that suddenly closed after being an immensely popular (Yelp top 100) and approachable sushi eatery in Crossroads Mall. A new eatery called Mix Sushi Bar has opened with nearly identical menu at the same location. The famous seared salmon is back. They added a seared combo, too. The bowls are back also. Rejoice! I ordered my food for take-out, and it was ready on time. No complaints. For my food, I ordered two dishes that are same as previous for comparisons. The Food: Seared Salmon, 10pc, $19.99 - 5 Stars A generous cut of salmon, wonderfully seared, and these pieces taste identical to the previous preparation. Yum! Mosaic Roll, 5pc, $13.99 - 5 Stars These are the mega-sized diameter rolls with salmon, tuna, hamachi, tamago, and krab salad. They are as difficult to eat as before due to the size, and I still enjoy every piece! Lol.

Came here to try the seared salmon nigiri. It's came out to ~23$ for 10 pieces. I got half spicy and half regular and I'm surprised to say I prefer the regular. I'm usually a fan of something with a little spice but it kind of took away from the flavor of the fish. The rice to fish ratio is good as well. The rolls aren't massive but definitely not small. I'd say it's good to satisfy a craving, but did not serve as a full meal for me.

Located in the Crossroads mall food court, I have been going here since they were called Sushi J. Even after the renaming, the place still is my go-to spot for takeout sushi. Their most popular item is undoubtedly the seared salmon, and for good reason. I order this every time I visit, because it is that good. They also have a variety of other sushi items, with an expanding menu that seems to get bigger each time I visit. I usually order ahead of time on their online ordering site, and the food is ready by the time I arrive. There is also seating, as it's in the food court area of the crossroads mall.

I came here at 1:45 PM on Thursday and ordered my food at the kiosk. I decided to go for their gochujang seared salmon 10 piece. The salmon was very fresh! The sauce was okay-I think it could have used more personality. Thankfully not too sweet, but the sauce wasn't memorable. They had the option in the kiosk to add sauces for $1 each, which I declined. The only thing I would change about this was the price. I think considering the service is all remote, the prices were a little steep. This cost me $22 (including tip). I'm glad I tried something new though.

Price is good, portions are good but definitely lower grade cuts. Located inside the crossroads food court.

One of my friends and I have already had their location in Georgetown countless times so we were happy to recommend our choices for our other friend this Friday evening around 7pm. Welp, we came into very full seating inside an extremely tight yet cozy seating area if it weren't for all the noise from there being so many people inside. It was so full and more people kept lining up behind us that we decided to do takeout and eat our food on the hood of my car despite spaces opening up as we waited about 20 or so minutes for our food... did I mention the parking lot for this place was nearly full and spots were very unforgiving in elbow room? Also that it's peak dinner time? Anyway, you place your order on a lone kiosk up front which did contribute to the really long line forming near the outside entrance. Like their Georgetown location, they offer a ton of hearty donburi and some appetizers and soup. Staff were a little rushed with some orders and forgot to give me utensils when I requested them through the kiosk but this didn't affect my overall experience, as I went back and they were more than happy to give them to me. We got their unagi donburi, which consists of a ton of broiled freshwater eel with an umami seasoning and tender juiciness, all on top of a huge bed of rice and with some radish. One of my friends instead got their una-gyu donburi which is a mix of unagi and sukiyaki beef, though that means we all got their unagi. Eel wasn't too salty, and scales are very fine and small that you can just eat it as is. This was a warming, hearty meal that sat very well with me and my friends. For this location and the one in Georgetown, I am most certainly coming back for some more!
