I wanted to try something new when I visited one this day. I was craving an iced cream chai variant.... I saw that they had a new chai drink called the Iced mango cream chai. I ordered that one. It was very underwhelming. I do enjoy mangoes, but I did not like the mango flavor in a chai latte drink lol It just seemed odd.... Not something I would order again. Service was fine. We were searching for some new cabinets for our kitchen at ASKS CABINETS and this Starbucks was in the same plaza so we SWUNG BY! I usually order the Matcha Frappuccino but, today I wanted to try something DIFFERENT!! DRAGON DRINK: 9/10 It was very refreshing! Not too sweet and really quenched my thirst in a hot day!! I highly recommend this drink because it really QUENCHES your thirst and DOES NOT make you more thirsty!!! CARAMEL STRATO: 8/10 It reminded me of the Mocha Frappuccino at McDonald's but, not as sweet. Drink and service were good. However, I went there to get some work done, and made the decision based on the hours listed on Starbucks' web site. At 8pm, 20 minutes after I had arrived, someone came over and advised that they were closing the lobby. Posted hours show a 9:30 closing time, but according to the barista, this apparently only applies to the drive thru. If lobby hours are going to be different than what is posted, this should be made clear. Waste of time to get set up and barely into my work, and then told they were closing. I am not sure why they couldn't let me know that when I first arrived either, knowing that it was only 20 minutes from when they planned to close. I will be contacting corporate as well to let them know that this store is not adhering to posted hours. read more

Stopped by for an afternoon pick me up while waiting for my pups to get pampered at the spa next door. It's usually the only time we frequent this location. Service is always quick and friendly, Cora and company answered all my questions patiently about merchandise and their upcoming shipments. Only issues I had was when I checked my receipt, the tall blended strawberry lemonade that I always get was a bit pricier. I always pay $3.45 at any location in Murrieta. Wouldn't recommend the coconut like bar, it was small and oddly came in a plastic package like it came from a box at the store. I swing by this Starbucks almost every morning bc it's close to work, located off Jefferson, south of Winchester. This is the 2nd time they've run out of an item. 2 weeks ago they ran out of the spinach feta wrap. Today they ran out of the Impossible breakfast sandwich. What's next? What made me want to Yelp about this Starbucks was this though... I asked if they had any other sandwich without meat. The lady at the drive thru said "No but you can order any sandwich and we can take the meat off for you" so I was thinking ok cool, they just won't put meat. But to clarify, I asked them if the meat touches the sandwich or do they put the sandwich together. She said it touches the sandwich since all their sandwiches are pre-made and they heat it up in the oven. I didn't even care that the sandwiches are pre-made. It's the fact that she offered me a sandwich that would previously have meat and they'd just remove the meat, but bottom line touched meat!! Period!! I just said no thanks, and was thinking wtf in my head. I just thought that was weird and gross. But, whatever.... here's a tip.... if a customer asks for a meatless sandwich if you don't have one, just say no. Don't offer to remove the meat from the sandwich bc that defeats the purpose!! This Starbucks location is now one of my favorites. I pulled into the parking lot from the west end of the center. Driving in, I passed a shirtless gentleman chainsawing a stump of wood into a tiki. While I enjoyed my coffee at a high-top table, the gentleman came in (now wearing a shirt) and first used the restroom before emerging and approaching the counter. "Hi! How can I help you?" "Do have pliers?" "Pliers?" "Yeah. Pliers. I have to fix my chainsaw." "You have a... chainsaw??" "Yeah outside. I was working on a statue and it broke so I need pliers and tools to fix it." "Ummm... like when things break here... like other people come and they have tools of their own so..." It's super disappointing to see how low this location has gone. Everytime I've come into this location, they have people sleeping inside the store, hanging outside the location harassing customers. I'm in shock that Starbucks allows this type of behaviors in their location. As I'm sitting here there are 2 people outside harrasing customers and one person sleeping inside. This Starbucks was located right across the street from the La Quinta that we stayed in last night. I didn't even notice it when we arrived at the hotel, but I certainly did this morning as we drove out of the parking lot. It was so cold this morning and I really wanted some hot tea to warm up and soothe my tired and achy body. I think because it's New Year's day, this place was more empty than usual, but nevertheless, I received fantastic service. I was immediately greeted, the guy chatted me up and we had a nice conversation. It's small and quaint inside, but it was very clean and they had some really cool soulful music playing. There was only one other patron inside and another sitting outside. It's located on the corner of a strip mall, right off of Jefferson and Winchester. This Starbucks location is very convenient as it's very close to the freeway and right on the corner of Winchester and Jefferson. Most times the wait is short and the employees are friendly. However, parking can be stressful at times as its a very small parking lot in this shopping center.
