Ok, I'm always very critical of Starbucks, the coffee is always too bitter and consistently not very good for my taste, and this location is no exception. You might ask then, why the 4*? Well the guy who took my order went above and beyond, by listening to my picky request (wanted a cortado, double shot, made with half & half), and by recommending the cheapest option to get what I wanted, always with a smile on his face. Basically as I described the cortado as a small latte in a 8oz cup almost half empty , he instead recommended a modified doppio macchiato. Then he made sure the lady who prepared the drink understood exactly what I wanted and finally I got the closest thing to what I wanted at a Starbucks. That's a 5* customer service. read more

we are visiting and we have been to this starbucks location the every morning for the past four days, i'm not sure what it is about the staff but we have had a poor experience with at least one of the employees each time, yesterday march 27th in the morning a gentleman was making our drinks, he has given us two grandes with no whip, i had ordered and payed for a grande no whip and a venti with whip and almond milk, when i let him know that we had ordered a venti with whip he snatched it and added whip to the top and tried sliding it on the counter to me and it fell over and spilled on me and the counter, we said he will remake it for me but just poured the old spilled grande frappe into a venti cup and added a ton of whip crème to the top to make it appear normal, it was 40% whip crème. that was upsetting, then today my grandmother was met with a disrespectful attitude by the asian barista glasses, and an incorrectly made order. i understand in this industry everyone can have a hard day at times but i come visit washington every few weeks and i have noticed a change in staff at this location and fewer and fewer positive experiences as i go, i felt i had to share this so that an employee of this starbucks may read it and try to think a bit more about how they are treating their customers when working in this industry, off days happen, however it's clear this has moved from being an off day to just their personality/ attitude towards customers. read more

My friend asked her to remake it and when she clearly did not understand I spoke up and she said and I quote "Let her talk" with an attitude. I love this Starbucks! The staff is always fast at making drinks and they are very friendly. I have seen them make mistakes making other people's drinks and they have always been courteous and accommodating to fix any issues. The only con I have with this Starbucks is that they do not have much seating inside, however they do have lots of seats outside if the weather is nice. We were there with my autistic daughter who tried to take string cheese from behind the counter and began screaming when we tried to get the string cheese back and correct her. The employee named Joey very rudely said that we had to leave the lobby because the noise level was scaring off other customers. There were no customers that left. Not only was this very rude and unprofessional of Joey, but he was lying about the customers. The team who now runs this place is very professional and friendly. I stop by every once in a while and they know my order and are also just giving off positive vibes. I've been to other shops and the workers seem like they are not happy to be there and it effects the customer service experience. Orders get messed up, the place is dirty, and you get anxious going in there because you are worried about your order. This place is not one of those places. It was also recently remodeled and now looks more relaxing and open as well as very clean. I have always been a "buy local" advocate but I really enjoy my visits to this Starbucks. read more

This is the Starbucks I visit the most, and it always seems to be crowded. Just lately, I've been ordering exclusively using the mobile app. When I order ahead 5 minutes out, my order is waiting for me. I've never experienced a time where I had to wait for my drink after ordering ahead. When I do wait in line, it seems to take a bit longer to get everyone through. In my experience, I've only seen one cashier taking a long line's order with one or two baristas. Typically, I visit here in mornings when it's really busy. There isn't too much seating, and it feels a little cramped. Sometimes when I've visited, the pastries or cold food are low on stock. There are a few tables outside on the sidewalk. read more

Stopped by Starbucks as I was having some car service done nearby. The location is really convenient. It is in the same shopping center as a Staples and Safeway. Came in during the morning rush to get some work done while having some breakfast. It was bustling throughout the 2 hours I was here, so a very popular location it is. Had a grande chai ($3.55) and morning bun ($1.95). The chai was okay. It was not as potent as I would like. Have had the chai at many Starbucks locations and this was just fair. I like chai hot and this was warm instead. Based on Jennifer L.'s writeup, I gave the morning bun a try and it is good. Pretty much as advertised. Not overly sweet, just right. The store is a bit small. No couches, just tables. There are also several tables outside the store. Good wi-fi. There are outlets in the shop so you can keep your laptop charged, but you need to look for the tables with them. Workability from this location is decent. Was able to get some work via VPN done here just fine. Noticed people conducting interviews here if that says something about this location. Overall, this is an okay Starbucks made better by the convenience that the location provides. read more

One of my regular Starbucks where I go once or twice a week. It has tons of parking spots since it's located in a big plaza. And because of that, the store is quite busy throughout the day. So, beware of a long wait for either foods or drinks. I suggest people who are comfortable with the smartphone to try to use Starbucks App to make your orders. It will save you time, and the quality of the products will come out the same anyway. The store itself doesn't have much seating area, probably just 8 tables inside. Although it provides extra seating area outside, but we are in Seattle... only 30% of the year, the outside seats are actually useful. The staffs here can be friendly, depending on their moods. They forgot to make my drink once (and I paid at the cashier on that day). Once I told the baristas, they didn't really care about it including the guy who took my order. I understand it's a busy store, but if you guys forget to make someone a drink, that's a big deal. I was almost late to work because I ended up waiting 15 minutes for it. This location is still pretty good. I've been coming here once every couple weeks or so at various times throughout the day. The location is still convenient and the workers are all wonderfully kind. They offer nitro cold brew and I've never had an issue with any of my orders over the past 2-3 years. The reason for the knock in rating is for the past few times I ordered via mobile. Recently, they've started to leave an empty cup with my name at the pick-up station instead of filling my mobile order. Apparently, they no longer make nitro cold brew until you are there in person because they don't want the nitro to go flat or the foam to dissipate? I forget the reason they gave me now, but it defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. It's not like I've ever been more than 5 minutes away when I put my order in. The first time it happened they were swamped with customers, and I waited and waited as orders were being filled and tons of people got their drinks ahead of me while my empty cup was sitting there. After waiting for awhile I took my empty cup and waited in the line at the register to inquire about my order. The second time I ordered they weren't busy so when I walked in a barista asked if I was there for the empty cup, and she filled it right away, which was much better. Unfortunately it's now way less convenient to mobile order since I have to park, turn off the vehicle, and wait or cut in line at the register (the staff told me not to wait at the register, but it feels bad to cut...) to get my mobile order filled. Of course, just order a regular drink via mobile and you won't have this issue! Your experience will probably be close to perfect if you do. read more

The lobby here it tiny. It's always full. Yet I sometimes give it a whirl because I'm a glutton for punishment. Each time it's the same thing - there are a few open tables that I could grab. I go through the Disney length line and the people ahead of me have taken the seats. I'm in a dilemma at this point. I was supposed to stay and study but there's not a chair to sit in indoors. Got a drip which tasted like bitter socks, bad enough that I took the time to go back to the counter and wait in line again. The person serving me, who appeared to be in charge, seemed annoyed at my request rather then apologetic for crappy coffee, and the Americano which I got in its place was watery. The tables seemed dusty or dirty also. There was some outdoor seating which would be nice in the summer (again, dusty table). Oddly it was very busy with a steady line. I work nearby this location so I frequent here for coffee..and I never love my experience. This location is so small and clustered. There's not to much room to wait in line so sometimes it goes out the side door. You can't help but put your butt in someone's face that's sitting at the individual tables when you're standing waiting for your stuff. In my experience, they've never made a drink taste bad enough for me to bring it back or say anything. However, they're inconsistent most of the times. Most small details are left out. I've asked for cinnamon powder, no cinnamon powder. I asked for Breve, it was still made with the standard milk. The baristas here are alright. They're not the friendliest. Maybe I just come in during busy times when they're flustered? Not sure how it's like in the afternoon/evening. So if you're not really a picky person, you will be okay here. "Remarkable for being not remarkable" to say it succinctly, a reasonably sized Starbucks. Seating capacity is configured as 8x2 Person, 1x4 Person indoors, with 9 tables outdoors, which can be configured for two or four persons. The outdoor tables become full during the nicer days. As typical of any Starbucks near a few office parks - this place is busy during the hours of 7-9A and around 11:55A-1:30p. But the staff here takes it in stride - and do take note of the all of the regular customers here. Really no complaints here. What's interesting to see here occasionally is a cell phone developer taking up the 4-person table with an array of phones, I'm talking 2x 10-phone arrays, with two or three laptops. read more
