The baked goods and savory food cases look fantastic, I just haven't had the opportunity to try them yet, a feat of incredible self control. It's just a brief walk from the Marymoor Village light rail station, so you can hop on in downtown Redmond, ride 2 minutes, walk 2 minutes, and you are there .

She had just taken an order 10 seconds ago, the doors were unlocked, and I had been waiting for 2 minutes behind them. Not to forgo, the employee and I made eye contact while I was in line and she did not mention that she would not be servicing me- just let me stand there waiting and then told me she wouldn't help me once the family had finished. I work super close and getting bobba is always a treat. Today I was bringing it over to a friend who I hadn't seen in a few months, and I was very excited. Now, I'm upset and feel disrespected.

This new-ish tea shop recently replaced the old Yifang location and it came with a makeover! The…read moreinterior features a cherry blossom theme and they also offer adorable merchandise like greeting cards and little trinkets. I've visited twice so far and both times, I was able to order right away at one of their two kiosks. I can imagine kids hanging out here on weekdays after the nearby high school is dismissed, but when I went in the early afternoon and on the weekend, it was a quick stop in and out. I've really only interacted with the one employee at the counter who makes the drinks, but he was welcoming and helpful, answering a couple questions I had with a smile. + HOUSE SPECIAL MILK TEA ($6.75): The menu describes this as having "special sweetener and rich tea taste", made with black tea, condensed milk and evaporated milk. The employee said most people will order it with boba or lychee jelly, but I opted for it without toppings and at 25% sweetness. For me, the 25% was just right, and I don't think I could tolerate a higher level. I believe this is their version of a Hong Kong Style milk tea and while the flavor was fine, the tea seemed diluted and didn't have that richness as advertised. + PINEAPPLE GREEN TEA ($5.55 special* + $1.00 cheese foam): This was quite refreshing and crisp, but even at just 25% sweetness, it was on the sugary side, considering it also had pineapple pulp on the bottom, so the natural sweetness of the fruit came though. Again, the tea flavor was weaker than I would have liked, but very pineapple-forward. I enjoyed their cheese foam which was velvety, balanced between milky and salty notes, and had a flavor similar to marshmallow. All toppings (boba, sago, pudding, etc.) are $1.00 which is on the steeper side compared to other tea shops. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program where you can earn "bubbles" for each drink purchased. Keep in mind that it doesn't automatically track when you enter your phone number... you actually need to take an extra step to opt in and sign up. *They have monthly specials where a couple drinks from their existing menu are offered at 15% off, like the Pineapple Green Tea I got at the discounted price. I am up for trying Tea Talk again, but with hopes that I'll be able to actually taste more of the tea next time. 3.25 stars.

Mercurys Coffee is by far the best coffee in Seattle. I was so excited when I learned that they came to Sammamish. EVERY time we pull up we are met with friendly baristas who value your time yet always make some sort of personal connection with you. Our dogs LOVE going there and getting treats. They even made our dog a puppacino on his birthday. Great service and they remember your drink orders! If you haven't been you're missing out! read more

Seriously...THE BEST bone dry cappuccino. This is the place if you want nothing but frothy foam floating ever so lightly on the crema of your espresso. I'm not a coffee snob. But, I do appreciate it when things are done right. It seems "coffee" is anything but coffee these days. Love this new addition to the neighborhood. The employees know my name and are always super friendly and make a really spot-on "Earl Gret Tea Latte". I used to frequent Starbucks religiously for that drink, and now I'll only go here for it. Highly recommend this little drive through. read more

I pull in and I notice the open sign is off on this side but wasn't on other. I pull up and the same younger girl from last time opens the window and says they've just closed. I look down now 4:55. I'm like well that's a weird time to close. So I ask what time they close and she says 5 o'clock. Look. I was a barista for 7 years. I get cleaning up but I always left a side of the machine til close. Hell I would have been okay if she said I just cleaned my machines but I can offer energy, tea etc they don't even require clean up. If you're open til 5 be open til 5. If google and maps says 6 please fix it because I went thru traffic wasting time trying to support your business. I wouldn't have tried to make it minutes before close if that was accurate. And employee girl- do better. For your boss and for your customers... if you're open til 5 be open til 5. You can manage your time efficiently to have it closed and cleaned. But also just care about the business and people. Not just about getting out of there. Trust me the world notices.

It was definitely sweeter than normal so I'm not sure if maybe an extra pump was added or something - I still happily drank it because I needed the caffeine badddly. We also asked for the steamed milk to be kids temp for my son's bottle, but it came out pretty hot. In general it was a good stop and I'll come here again when we're in the area.
