Grapefruit Jasmine Green Tea, Kiwi Fruit Tea, Orange Creamsicle
Smaly K.

Was in the area and wanted bubble tea, and this popped up as the closest. So, came here and I was wanting fries, but they were out. We got the Grapefruit Jasmine Green Tea, Kiwi Fruit Tea, and Orange Creamsicle, and they were all good. The boba texture was a but too soft, but it was still okay. I got the fruit teas at 25% sugar, but the Kiwi Fruit Tea did seem still too sweet for being 25%. I will try more flavors if I'm in the area.

So I have been to BBK tea multiple times and have alhad different reactions every time. First of all the fruit teas and the milk drinks on the menu that aren't fresh milk have a flowery after taste which I do not recommend. Personally, the best drink there is the Srawberry fresh milk with boba which tastes so amazing. Honestly anything in their menu which is fresh milk is amazing. Lastly, their popcorn chicken and regular fries are also delicious. :)

So, as a stereotypical boba Thai milk tea orderer, I came in looking for something less rich and sweet. After talking with the GENIUS at the counter to help me narrow down to the perfect drink, I went with her recommendation and got a Grapefruit Green Tea (50% sweet = 0.6 ounces of cane sugar) with the addition of Aloe to neutralize some of the bitterness of the grapefruit. AMAZING is all I have to say! Great addition to the neighborhood - have found my new refreshing drink order! (and it's pretty with a fresh slice of grapefruit)

Great tea flavor! Fruit teas are so refreshing... and they use real fruit. They also use nondairy creamer for their milk teas which is awesome for lactose intolerant folks! One of my favorite spots in the Sammamish-Issaquah area. Better than the chains. Support local!

Kiwi fruit tea - so refreshing!

Hands down best new boba shop in the area! All of the drinks are delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Their cloud is delicious, I recommend adding it to their smoothies and milk teas! Their snacks are also to die for - best sweet potato fries I've ever had. The service is amazing and you can tell they put lots of thought into the cute store and their customers. Will definitely be back!

You will look around spending about ~$7.50 or more for boba/tea. 30% still too sweet for me (note to self). Parking isnt' the easiest.

Great boba, tea's and smoothies…read more Dont waste your money on the claw machine games... even if you pick stuff up the claws open before moving to the drop point... disappointing as this seems to be a theme with recent stores in the area with expensive per play rates at $1.

The…read moreinterior features a cherry blossom theme and they also offer adorable merchandise like greeting cards and little trinkets. I've visited twice so far and both times, I was able to order right away at one of their two kiosks. I can imagine kids hanging out here on weekdays after the nearby high school is dismissed, but when I went in the early afternoon and on the weekend, it was a quick stop in and out. I've really only interacted with the one employee at the counter who makes the drinks, but he was welcoming and helpful, answering a couple questions I had with a smile. + HOUSE SPECIAL MILK TEA ($6.75): The menu describes this as having "special sweetener and rich tea taste", made with black tea, condensed milk and evaporated milk. The employee said most people will order it with boba or lychee jelly, but I opted for it without toppings and at 25% sweetness. For me, the 25% was just right, and I don't think I could tolerate a higher level. I believe this is their version of a Hong Kong Style milk tea and while the flavor was fine, the tea seemed diluted and didn't have that richness as advertised. + PINEAPPLE GREEN TEA ($5.55 special* + $1.00 cheese foam): This was quite refreshing and crisp, but even at just 25% sweetness, it was on the sugary side, considering it also had pineapple pulp on the bottom, so the natural sweetness of the fruit came though. Again, the tea flavor was weaker than I would have liked, but very pineapple-forward. I enjoyed their cheese foam which was velvety, balanced between milky and salty notes, and had a flavor similar to marshmallow. All toppings (boba, sago, pudding, etc.) are $1.00 which is on the steeper side compared to other tea shops. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program where you can earn "bubbles" for each drink purchased. Keep in mind that it doesn't automatically track when you enter your phone number... you actually need to take an extra step to opt in and sign up. *They have monthly specials where a couple drinks from their existing menu are offered at 15% off, like the Pineapple Green Tea I got at the discounted price. I am up for trying Tea Talk again, but with hopes that I'll be able to actually taste more of the tea next time. 3.25 stars.

I've been coming to them more often since they've incorporated vegan / plant based proteins, easy modifications and no charges. I love their vegan dream, but I find it to be too sweet so my go to is the Emerald modified with chocolate plant-based protein. my husband loves the nutty Banana modified vegan as his go to with all the best ingredients especially if you love peanut butter. Every time I go, everyone is so friendly helpful making it easy to wanna come back. The other thing is that they're really fast at making their smoothies and if you didn't know, they have a loyalty program with your phone number. Now, why did I give them four stars? Well, they can be a little bit inconsistent with their smoothies and smoothie bowls. one thing as of the last 12 months is that I've noticed all of it to be heavy on the ice. Which means it's a watered down flavor. I don't mind ice in my smoothies and I don't mind water over alternatives like milk or juice. I actually prefer it, however I don't want my smoothie or my smoothie bowl to taste plain.

There are a handful of tables which is nice and plenty of parking in the shared lot. My friends frequent this place since it is in Issaquah and convenient. The workers are trained well and are very polite. The drinks are made well, too. The space is kind of oddly shaped, but I like that they try to curate some seating and it's cute. The drinks are a little more classy than your average boba shop. I like that they offer seasonal flavors and on my last visit, I tried their sweet potato one that was their seasonal fall flavor and it was excellent. The drinks are maybe a little on the pricey side, but I enjoy the proper unique flavors and that their drinks are made well. If you ever find yourself in Issaquah and wanting some boba, this is the place to go!! There really aren't a lot of other places to go honestly. I like that I don't feel like I'm settling by coming here.

Located in a small business strip in Issaquah across from the Gilman Village, parking is easy to find in the lot, but it can be limited with the space and other businesses around. Inside, the shop is very cute, with pastel decore, velvet seats and tables, and plenty of places for photo ops. I ordered the ube matcha latte and the seasonal pandan donut, which were both good. I love ube, so was glad to know that they make their own ube flavoring here, which was the best part of the drink. I also liked the pandan donut, but it was very sweet and rich. The menu offers a lot to choose from, with different drinks and treats, including those you can see in the case, such as the ube cookie, ube basque cheesecake, etc. Glad to know Bobae has another spot on the Eastside, making it easy for me to get to.

I appreciate the free members item the most but regardless I'm happy that I joined. I chose Pcc often for their healthy options + baked goods. My personal favorites are the mighty'o donuts! And their vegan pies, brownies, and cookies. Staff are friendly. Market is easy to navigate and clean. My biggest complaint is the inconsistent offers of vegan pies. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. I was happy to see the vegan pumpkin and vegan fruit pies. But then I go to this location and nope!! It is easy to just make them dairy free and you do t have to add the vegan sticker. That's what Costco does now with their fruit pies!!! The other complaint is the deli switched to pre-packaged items only. Which probably makes a lot of sense with staffing issues and or peak rush hours. However, if that's the plan, at the very least please secure your containers. And even offer stickers or rubber bands for extra support. Why is this upsetting? I got home from my last haul and my curry tofu spilled out everywhere, landing on my rug & me, which stained it yellow so obviously very disappointing.
