This place has such a cozy, welcoming vibe with plenty of seating to sit back and actually enjoy your drink (bonus points for offering real "for here" cups!). Their selection is impressive--everything from classic coffee drinks to a variety of pastries, plus even beer and other beverages if you're stopping by later in the day. I had a savory biscuit with cheese and herbs that was great and the perfect pairing with my cortado. There were tons of other tempting options too, from pastries to bagels and more. Overall, just a really nice spot with great offerings and a relaxed atmosphere. Such a great find--I'll definitely be back!

My go-to is a 16oz iced oat milk with mocha and I love how perfectly the chocolate is incorporated into the drink every time. No matter how long it takes me to finish my drink, if the ice all melts or I drink it quickly, it tastes delicious. I just wish they had better food. I don't love how greasy their croissants and sandwiches are. I wish they had better breakfasts or served food with protein that was less oily. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a sandwich I've gotten from here, and I swear I try them at least every other month. The vibes totally make up for their gross sammies and are my favourite thing about this place!! I love coming here for a reading date or to craft and yap with friends. It feels like such a community oriented space and I love getting to enjoy it with my friends. I just wish they were open later than 6pm.

The lady was super nice. It's a tiny place and a one-woman run shop. It was a personable and cute experience. I wanted a fancy iced coffee because it was a bright and sunny day in Issaquah. I chose Kathy's special mocha, which was a white coffee with chocolate and caramel. It was delicious. Not too sweet, but very creamy. It didn't even taste like coffee, which makes me wonder what white coffee means. The little coffee shop also has a variety of other drinks some of them involving red bull or lotus energy. I liked the creativity, but I'd personally only come here for coffee and maybe a smoothie or one of their baked goods. They also have sandwiches. There was a daily special sign that said specialty drinks are 10% off, but I didn't see the sign until after I ordered and idk if my drink counted as a specialty drink or if I got the discount. Haha. Oh well. It felt good to support a local business even though drinks are half off at Starbucks every Friday in May. They weren't getting much other business while I was there even though the taco place was crowded with people. I felt a little bad. If you ever find yourself in Issaquah and are looking for a nice coffee, this might be your place! I know I enjoyed it!

The area was smaller than expected, but clean with a limited selection of bakeries and lots of cake slices. I was surprised to see how expensive the cakes were, even some of my favorite breads like the coconut cream were closer to $4 each! Unfortunately, given the current economy, I believe this is now the standard cost of dessert breads. I got two breads and one drink! The green tea bun was great- there was a generous amount of filling, and the combo of mochi with cream was very satisfying. The pineapple bun was also delicious, I loved that there was filling inside which kind of reminded me of a cocktail bun/custard bun. Both breads had the standard Asian bakery texture that I love- soft, chewy, and not too sweet or dense. The milk tea flavor was a great combo, though I found the drink to be pretty sweet at 50%. Of the two pastries, the green tea is my favorite! Overall, the bakery tasted as good as I remembered. However, given its prices, I don't see myself coming back often.

The California Eggs Benedict came with grilled onions, which I absolutely loved. (You don't see onions typically in that dish.) Hash browns were meh. My favorite however was the avocado crema that came with the Breakfast Quesadillas. Creamy and flavorful-- they made the quesadillas sing. I'm diabetic so I tend to ask for all sugar free drinks. First time, a few weeks ago I asked the gal at the window for all sugar free - redbull and syrups. She let the gal making the drinks know sugar free everything. The gal making the drinks started adding the regular syrups and I tried to tell the gal at the window that it should have been all sugar free. The gal making the drinks got frustrated and said "you should have told me" when she did. The gal at the window then said "it's okay we can give it to the next person" and the gal making the drinks in a snarky voice said "no one orders sugar free" and then proceeded to make my drink wrong again. Second time being last week, sent my coworker to get some drinks for us. I get really busy as I have back to back clients and needed a pick me up. Again, my coworker asked for all sugar free with a bit of cream in it. She was given the wrong drink and I only realized it after I had taken a big sip of it. Cream also curdles with sugar free drinks and it was not curdled. Wish they listened to their customers as some of us have dietary restrictions and also not making us feel like a burden for asking for sugar free items. Amazonia Cafe by the 76 in Issaquah is way better as in they listen and get to know their customers!
