Cafe Hagen is a great spot for coffee, getting some work done, or simply hanging out for a few hours. The seating is comfortable, the ambiance is cozy, and one of the biggest perks is that they're open until 8 PM on weekdays; perfect if you're craving a coffee later in the day. They also validate parking for one hour if you park in the garage, which is a nice bonus. Besides their coffee, their pastries and Red Beet Hummus Toast are quite good as well. Most of the staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming. Service can vary depending on who's working, though; I found one of the hosts to be a bit dismissive, while everyone else has always been great. One small thing I don't understand is why they switched serving their 8 oz lattes from ceramic mugs to glass without handles. The glasses get very hot, making them a bit uncomfortable to hold and enjoy. I personally preferred the mugs.
Delicious!! The pasties were really good and I enjoyed the black sesame matcha. The only real complaint was that the toast was a little thick. The service was good, even with a busy restaurant. The location is super cute! It seems like a great place to read a book or get some work done or meet up with friends. Definitely worth a visit!
This was the perfect post-church brunch and coffee spot! I loved all the natural lighting in the space. There was tons of seating both inside and outside. Free parking in the garage below (at least on Sunday it was free). Service is counter service. They had a variety of brunch items and a great coffee menu. I loved their Sweet Matcha Latte. It was the perfect balance of sweet and matcha flavor.
I visited for the first time last week, and I loved how spacious and clean the space is! There is plenty of seating, and a great place to work/study. I got two pastries to go, the raspberry slice and spanakopita. I wished I had asked for the spanakopita to be warmed, but it was otherwise a really good pastry! I've never had spanakopita before, but I loved the salty, herbal flavor, and it didn't taste too heavy. The raspberry bar, however, was disappointing. It tasted more like a sugary shortbread with a hint of raspberry. The icing topping is thicker than the raspberry jam itself! I love sweets, but for the price and experience I would not get this one again. Overall, the cafe has a great ambiance, and a large selection of foods and drinks. It's a little pricey, but given the great spanakopita, I can see myself coming back once in a while to try more food and work!
Beautiful cafe located on the ground floor of office building. Make sure you enter into the right parking garage which is right next to the cafe--there are two side by side. Parking validated for first hour! Lots of seating and sunlight coming in. Also have lots of pastries and food to eat.
I've passed by this swanky spot enough times that I got curious and had to try it for myself! The first thing off the bat is that this is a stylish place: floor to ceiling windows, modern interior, very cool vibe. It seems to be a Scandinavian style cafe and brunch spot, but they also branch out to other flavors as well! When my friend and I went on a Sunday afternoon it was packed! They have a counter service rather than sit-down and you have the option of finding your own seats. My friend and I shared a huge breakfast platter (the portion was so big!), a cardamom twist (a new fave pastry of mine) and a sakura matcha (okay, much too sweet for my taste tho.) I would definitely go back here for another coffee chat! So many pastries I still want to try. :)

There's plenty of seating: dining height, bar height, loungey chairs, booths etc. to choose from. The space is well lit, inviting and clean. I came for pastries after having lunch, it was around 1:00 and they were almost out of pastries! My friends snatched the last 2 cruffin (croissant muffin) and I had the blueberry danish. I saw they also serve brunch and would like to give that a try soon. For now, it was a pleasant intro to Cafe Hagen! Service was quick and attentive!
This location feels like an upscale restaurant but in reality its "just" a Cafe. Its a fantastic place co work with friends or just work away from the office on your own. Staff are very friendly and the area is kept very clean. I ordered a cappuccino, a cortado and the baked bread and prosciutto over toast. The open faced sandwich was a great balance of salty, savory and sweet.
Tried tiramisu and seasonal fruit waffle(berries). All so good! I'd definitely come back and order two waffles can't get enough!
Cute space with lots of seating but it can get very busy so finding a table is not guaranteed. We got the weekend brunch board with bacon and the sweet croissant. The croissant did not have a price and based on my experience I thought it would be $8-9 but it was $12....It was too steep for the size/filling. We enjoyed the brunch board and the waffles especially. The croissant had good flavor but needed more cream and bananas. You can see just a few thin slivers of banana which is a cheap ingredient. I was not impressed. I'm glad I tried it. I might be back for pastries but not the sweet croissant again.

The cafe is pretty minimalist with plenty of seatings. You seat yourself and order at the front. There's coffee drinks as well as alcoholic drinks too. I saw people working on their laptop, families having lunch, and friends meeting up. Prices are overpriced for the type of food/light lunch. I ordered their brie and prosciutto toast, and although good, it was like $15, and with a coffee and tip it was over $32.
One of my favorite Cafe Hagen locations! Located in the lobby of an office building in downtown Bellevue, this is a great place to get work done. Ample seating arrangements from tables to counter tops to booths. The menu is similar to other locations, serving pastries from Freya Bakery as well as other savory dishes like their healthy skillet that I usually get. I do like Cafe Hagen roasted beans that come from a variety of single origin sources. I like trying them pour over style. The space feels quite open and is adjacent to a nice courtyard with water features when the weather is nice.
Cafe Hagen has a cheerful, cozy vibe with a stylish interior and genuinely welcoming staff. It feels much more relaxed and personal than a big corporate chain. I loved that the seating is nicely spaced, giving you a little extra privacy. The latte was delicious, and the Kouign-Amann was perfectly baked with a crisp, buttery crust. The flavor lingered long after the last bite! Overall, a lovely spot for coffee and pastries. I'll definitely be back. Parking tip: Weekend parking is free, but only in the garage starting with 777. Great ambiance very clean line contemporary. Staff at the order counter was okay. I wish she would have given us a real straw vs a stir stick for the Iced-Americano. The avocado toast was really yummy. Thank You for making the bacon CRISPY, loved it. We also had Italian breakfast croissant it was sure substantial. Probably my favorite cafe in all of Seattle!! The food is amazing, and the coffee is also excellent. They often have fun seasonal drinks, as well as delicious Nordic themed lattes! The service here is also pretty good, usually pretty quick unless very busy. The inside is beautiful, and great to hang out or work for a while. Brought my Norwegian mother here, and she LOVED it! read more
Really spacious cafe with lots of different types of seating. They serve coffee, alcohol, and food. It's a good place to hang out leisurely or bring a laptop. Bathrooms inside as well. As for the coffee, it's ok. I ordered a cappuccino and they made it wet, which isn't my preference so I'll be trying something else next time. Slightly overpriced as well. read more

Beautiful cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Everything's aesthetically pleasing, and clean. I tried an avocado toast and added an egg and bacon - literally one single slice. It was fine, definitely not the best, I feel like too many herbs were added and something I could not really tell what it was overpowered the avocado itself. The staff were great, friendly! Super overpriced, I paid about $32 for this, which is insane. However, they do validate for 1 hour parking... so that's nice. I tried it out, and I'm glad I did, but will probably not go back. read more
I guess this is a nice place for people who like to work remotely other than home, if they can afford the parking fees. Coffee is okay, nothing remarkably impressive with their baked goods, especially since they don't offer to warm them up. Maybe the server or the cashier was not in the mood that day, so I wasn't offered? As some reviewers have already mentioned, I didn't find the staff friendly at all. It is a nice modern, spacious café though. read more
The special Scandinavian latte was really good. They have a fantastic selection of pastry. I tried the churro cruffin. It was very good but a bit too much cream. The place is really nice with lots of different searing options and tons of plants, but no one was bussing tables (even tho staff didn't seem busy) which was a bit annoying read more

2025 Yelp 100 - #9 Cafe and Cocktail Bar with happy hour weekdays 2pm - 5pm, and brunch all day weekends. There are a ton of sweet treat options available such as danish, almond stuffed croissants, and pop tarts to list a few. Order Cinnamon Social Medium Iced Matcha Latte with oat milk The cinnamon social is a three layered cinnamon pastry with a small amount of icing on top. Plenty of seating inside with a small amount of table seating outside in the back. Service was fast and I was accidentally given a hot matcha latte instead of iced and it was swiftly remade. read more

This is such a great spot to study. There's plenty of seating and a good variety of food options. I got the iced chai latte with oat milk and it was really good. The lighting is also great, which makes it a super comfortable place to hang out or get work done. Service was quick and super nice--definitely a place I'd come back to! read more

You pay extra for the pretty presentation, location, and ambience... that's pretty much it. I like the bread on the avocado toast, but the actual taste is overall ordinary. The pastries were quite stale, as they were sitting out behind glass with a few flies having a family gathering over them. I will say, the coffee is wonderful--rich and robust, with unique syrups and milk alternatives available. What really knocks them down is how overpriced everything is. $13 avocado toast plus $3 for a single egg? $6.50 for a 12oz latte? $3 extra for a side of chips? Madness. You're paying for the "Instagram worthiness" of their food and drinks. Overall, the space is great for studying or hanging with friends, but even then it gets extremely busy and LOUD during peak hours and weekends (you will have to hunt for seating). Service is rude and pretentious as well. There's no available street parking, but there is a paid lot that's free on Sundays. read more

Very beautiful, bright, and spacious cafe for brunch, a coffee date, or working! There is A LOT of room for seating inside at tables and couches as well as available seating outside on the patio for when it's nice out! They bring the food to you when you are dining in and the food came out pretty quickly for despite the moderate line on a Sunday at noon. The skillet was delicious, super cheesy and heavy on the sausage (but not worth the $30 with tip...) They can also alter the sweetness level of drinks if you ask them to! read more

I came here twice in the span of a week, once with my best friend for coffee and a chat, and once with my sister to grab a bite for lunch, and both times I was blown away by the relaxed ambiance and chill vibes. This area is definitely lacking a large coffee shop with lots of place to study and I think this space is perfect for collaborating over a drink. I love how large the tables are and the inviting atmosphere makes it so comfortable to spend hours here. (But they only validate parking for one hour.) Both visits I ordered a 16 oz iced oat milk mokka and the drink was consistently good with perfectly dispersed flavour and a deliciously creamy texture. When my bestie and I came here together she ordered an iced Scandinavian latte which she says tastes good both hot and cold. My sister decided on a regular vanilla latte and she liked it. No further notes from her. My sister and I decided to split the new Urban Pesto and it surpassed my expectations. I'm usually a picky eater and while I did remove the tomatoes and bacon, I enjoyed how flavourful the panini was. The pesto paired perfectly with the turkey and I loved the texture of the bread. My sister, who ate the sandwich without taking anything off, thought it was fresh and delicious. She also loved that the bread was that perfect balance of soft and crispy without tearing up the roof of your mouth. After loving the bite of blueberry danish I stole from my bestie last visit, I knew I needed to get one for myself. It's disappointing that they can't heat it up in the cafe, but I took it home and heated it up and I loved it. The blueberries were fresh and I loved the texture of the flaky pastry. My only confusion is whether or not you're supposed to bus your own tables. When I was here with my bestie, the staff told us where we could put our dishes when we were done and we cleared our own table. When I came with my sister, however, a barista bussed our table for us, which we really appreciated. I can't wait to come back to Cafe Hagen! If I lived closer this would be the perfect study hangout. read more
So, I've been to Café Hagen a bunch of time so I'll spill the tea, if you want a little less noisy get tables closer to the elevators. If you prefer quieter times (less people), come on a weekday after 6 (they, as of now, close at 8pm). They are still the only branch that has their Café Hagen Deluxe that has the smoked salmon (the Kirkland branch does not include smoked salmon). Coffee is on the citrusy side but if you like a latte, I'd suggest that. They changed their seating arrangements so that there is so much more seating!! Yes! I did notice that their super soft fluffy eggs were cooked alittle harder, so watch for that. Their sandwiches are so yummy, I had a chicken pesto that was the bomb 5/5. read more
